Had an imported Japanese one due to the long delay for the UK.
Main games, super Mario world, final fight and actraisers.

SWO is new ish for sure.
I can’t see Nintendo making many mature games.
And third party support for switch 2 seems to going ok.
Will be very interesting to see how AC Shadows performs on switch 2 next month.

Day one for me, have played all the other MP and the original is still the best MP 1 for me so far.

Tomb raider and Sw outlaws are mature I think.
I know older games for switch 2 but SW outlaws runs incredibly well.

Absolutely I shall be playing 4K at 60fps in December.
And who knows, may over take DKB as my switch 2 game of the year.

The game of year on switch 2 by a mile.
New, fresh and using some of Switch 2 capabilities.

We definitely need more of this, big AAA switch 2 only games from Nintendo studios.

Been playing on Switch 2 docked on 65” QD-OLED, looks really good and sharp.
And the main thing 60fps, seems very smooth.

So far there is a bit of fizzing you can catch on the foliage.
And yes it could have been a bit better for switch 2 with some better effects I guess.

We all probably want bigger better games from Swtich 2 and more third party games, so increased size will happen.
I think Nintendo will keep their file sizes reasonable, but they could hit 50gb with a new massive Zelda game.

The newer games, remakes etc that the switch 2 can run, will have bigger files sizes.
It’s something Nintendo world will have to get used to.

Not sure why, its definitely not my type of game and I prefer MKW.
Also it’s not a major Nintendo release like MKW or DKB, meaning it won’t shift console sales.

Looking at the reception on here and the votes, I don’t think so.

Does nothing for me this Kirby racing.
I know it’s a different audience but more may have given it a try, if MKW wasn’t so new and around and in a bundle with switch 2.
Surprised Nintendo produced this game, at least now anyway.

It’s like we have tennis next year. What they should focus on next year is football with the World Cup in 2026, create a Mario soccer game and have it so you can play as your national team but Mario style. Like Mario England or Yoshi USA.
Then again Nintendo are sometimes oblivious to world events.

Just watched the IGN preview. Basically.
Great Metroid prime stuff. Tick box.
Why did they and really why did they bother to add the other characters and the powers that are slow.
That sums it up, they probably have spoilt for some with the two silly additions.
And there is the open bike sections yet to be reviewed.
Not sure why developers feel the need to add what might be spoilt and needless stuff.
Game looked great on switch 2 docked at 4K native 60fps.

It’s the whole industry that has dropped quality and high scoring top end games, especially the big three. Look at COD today campaign, terrible. Ghost of Yotei mid 80s.

Well thankfully the standard metriod stuff is there.
But are we going to see another Nintendo game that used it get MP remasted 94 on meta end up in the mid low to mid 80s.

If so it’s probably the second time since the switch 2 release they needed to do better with their big AAA games.

They should have used Jay from the in-betweeners instead 🤣

I totally get why you wish to play the game and enjoy.
I’m playing star wars outlaws on switch 2 and what an amazing port, surprises me every time I play.
Then again switch 2 uses Nividea which for me has always been superior to AMD in PS5 and series x.

It is not a game for me got 79 on meta.
I had a good look but could not be tempted, also I find it good to play something else that is not Nintendo characters sometimes.
So in instead I purchased, Star Wars outlaws for £34 after some research and so glad I did.

Just started star wars outlaws on switch 2.
I’m very impressed, all third party games should be like this on switch 2.
Playing docked on a 65” TV.
Now I will be honest my TV switch 2 channel is adjusted to perfection, for visual look and smooth motion and does help the switch 2.
It’s also got a new update that makes things better as well.

DKB going 100% and MKW going all 3 stars 150cc.

On the fence with this, what I call sort of push and go kart racing game.
Really hoping for demo and if I click I will buy.

I said on here when the switch 2 was released that they should have done an under the TV version that you mentioned for us docked players like me and you. And we probably would have saved £100.
We thinking sort of the same 🤣
Anyway not long for Metroid Prime 4. I will go for docked 60fps at 4K mode for me.

Hi all, please remember it’s only something as an optional extra I would have loved on my Nintendo switch 2 console.
My 60fps optional power dock.
It’s not an attack on Nintendo or anyone on here.
Just a beautiful dream of mine, to have the Nintendo AAA exclusive experience and the third party at 60fps with better quality all round when docked.

Why would I want the pro if I can have Nintendo exclusives on switch 2 with an optional more powerful dock for third party games at PS5 level roughly.

All on here saying about 60fps and the switch 2 is just a handheld. It has a dock. Nintendo could have engineered something with the dock to get to 60fps with more third party titles.
Maybe yes as an alternative more expensive option, say another £400 on top.
But I would have purchased definitely.

Remember as this generation goes on and god forbid next generation, it will only get worse.
But extremely happy with the 60fps with those first party titles.

Nope it’s not that great. The main issue lack of 60fps. They should have juiced the dock mode somehow to push things further to 60fps.
That is my only complaint.
You come off playing a beautiful DKB, MKW or TOTK at a smooth none blurry panning around 60fps then bang third party 30fps. Not great.

I’m a fully paid up family plus got it all member.
It seems all ok for the price.

Congratulations Nintendo and an amazing start.
I think though for continued amazing results will really on Nintendo big AAA games.
When you look back at the switch sales peaks, not including the Covid era and Christmas the peaks occur during mainly the big AAA Nintendo releases.
I’m not sure if they can keep this up this generation. Games like Mario tennis and Yoshi are good fillers but not the big AAA Nintendo games that sell consoles.

After MP4 and into 2026 there is nothing announced that is big in house AAA, like Mario 3d game or Zelda etc.

Like most Nintendo products nowadays, over priced.

Still a great price though for that game.

Dam shame like star wars it will probably be 30fps so around series s levels.

Shame even with some cut backs Nintendo did not push the switch 2 a little more design wise to make these games runs 60fps docked.
I think that was a missed opportunity.

Should have a been a bit more powerful when docked the to get these game to 60fps.

I think overall it’s all a fair price really
Considering the cost of other items have gone up by lots.
Also let’s not forget back in the day when SF2 was £60.
To get a game like DKB for about £55 in 2025 with all this inflation etc is a really good deal.
