@Kitoro That's a lame excuse and you know it, and even if you're using wifi, rollback would still offer an improvement. This is a low-effort job from Atlus and they should be called out for it.
@Kitoro That still doesn't excuse the fact that we're getting a lesser version for the Switch. Doesn't matter if I'm a pro or not, I should be able to get good netplay regardless.
@BloodNinja Exactly this. I'm 100% digital on PC and the Series X because those services feel future-proof. Nintendo have really shoddy online services and i don't trust them in the slightest to keep their services alive or being able to bring their games forward more than one generation ahead before being rendered incompatible.
I would have bought more games digitally if Nintendo would convince me that it's an investment for the ages.
Good thing I already have all 4 of the Kirby amiibos (not the SSB ones), and also the Japan exclusive BoxBoy one. Got the last one when it first released, which was a good move considering how much it sells for today...
@Severian You do know that there are 4 games in the series, right? The first one was released in arcades, the second and third one on the SNES (Pocky & Rocky and Pocky & Rocky 2), and the fourth one on the GBA. Can't really see them doing a compilation, but would love to be proven wrong.
@John_Deacon Yup, it's 60FPS. I did run into just the tiniest bit of frame drops during a super-hectic part on the final stage, but other than that, it's silky smooth.
Day one. One of my most anticipated games of the year. Absolutely love Pocky & Rocky on the SNES, and the previous Tengo Project releases have been incredible upgrades while still keeping the spirit of the originals intact.
I really like this one, even though I might prefer Cotton Reboot a smidge. Both games are great though and I highly recommend both if you like cute shoot ém ups.
@Lilmonix3 Do you like Capcom? The game includes two versions, with one of them Capcom-themed. It's a great game that I sunk sooooo many hours into in my younger years!
I'm betting this will show up on a future NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 2 release later down the line, so I'll wait for that. This is probably the best game on the entire NGPC though. SO good!
I'm picking up Cogen: Sword of Rewind alongside Lumionous Avenger iX 2. Great day for Mega Man-esque actioneering with those two titles released at the same time!
@silverthornne I mean, ININ and SLG operate under the same banner, and ININ only release games physically that they think will sell well. Clearly, the didn't think there was enough demand for the Saturn Tribute. I bought the ININ release of Cotton Reboot as well, but in the end, that money will land in the same pocket.
@Fake-news there was a regular version available as well, but I can't seem to find it any longer, which is weird as that's the one I ordered.
@Moroboshi876 I for one really enjoyed Cotton Reboot, and I can see how the sales potential for a "new" title is bigger than a pack of emulated rereleases. That's probably ININ's reasoning as well.
I mean, the PC version has been fixed up considerably and is in many regards the very best version of the game available. Porting it to consoles would be a piece of cake, so I don't understand the hold-up at all... Guess Squre Enix don't like money...
I got the very first pair of these, the Daemon X Machina ones, and they're great. Too bad they're missing out on rumble and gyro though, as that would really give them that premium feel. If you can stand missing out on that, this is a great buy!
@Silly_G This is just LRG showing their true colours, once again. They may have started out with good intentions in regards to game preservation and goodwill towards customers, but as they've grown bigger and bigger, and are aquiring bigger and bigger licenses for games that the original publishers wouldn't have a second thought about publishing themselves, they've become increasingly arrogant and greedy. A lot of their releases now require patches, games like these should be packaged in bundles on 32GB carts, and they should stick to actually helping out the smaller devs that they started out with and that actually need that financial backing. Publishing games from Sony, Crytek, Ubisoft, Konami etc just rings false in my ears, and I've stopped supporting them and their FOMO mentality a long time ago.
@SwitchForce Like all of M2's ShotTriggers releases, it's in Japanese with some English in the menus making it at least manageable to get through, switch between the games, save states and such, but the details about what every option does is unfortunately entirely in Japanese.
I really like this collection, but I do hope M2 mix it up and don't just go all in on the Toaplan releases for the forseeable future. I want that Senjin Aleste port asap!
@Tinglemies Which is a shame. Federation Force is a genuinely good game! The timing of its release was always the real problem. I think people would appreciate it a lot more had it been released today and on the Switch.
I have one rule regarding M2 ShotTriggers releases, and that is, I buy them regardless. They're the best in the business when it comes to preservation and enhancing old shooters, and they deserve all the support they can get. Looking forward to getting Tiger-Heli next week!
All three games come in at just over 28GB and would have fitted on one 32GB cart. I know they're expensive to produce, but having them all in one tidy little package would have been awesome! Shame they're only releasing them separately on the Switch at retail.
This really should have also included Link's Awakening DX, Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. I'm getting it anyway, preordered since months back, but those additons would have made this into a MUST HAVE 8-bit Zelda tribute machine for the ages.
Hopefully, Ori 2 is fully patched on this cart, as it wasn't in it's stand alone release, despite the developer claiming it would be. If it is, I'll get this!
Square Enix: Releases several old Mana, Dragon Quest and SaGa games on Switch... Also Square Enix: I wonder if people will buy these Final Fantasy thingamajings.
I would buy a double pack, similar to I & II on the SFC, in a heartbeat! We got shortchanged with the mobile ports to Switch, so I'm so happy they're going back and rectifying their previous blunder!
My favourite Musou game to date. All the characters feel unique and fun to play as, and the focus on action is more of my jam. My one big gripe is the performance, because if this would be at least a locked 30, it would play great!
@harouhiko Is it a bad thing if people want them? It's not like the companies are putting a ton of resources into them, and they help fund new games which they develop at the same time.

@Kitoro Not for the Switch, only for PC and PS4
Re: PSA: You Might Have To Clear Up Some Space To Play Persona 4 Arena Ultimax On Switch
Getting it on PC on a sale. Would have gotten on Switch at release but Atlus keeps dropping the ball with it. No physical and no rollback? No thanks.
Re: Hideki Kamiya Would Like You To Play The First Two Bayonetta Games Before Trying The Third
Playing Bayonetta for the story is probably the video game equivalent of "I read Playboy for the articles!"
Re: The Arcade Emulator MAME Is Now 25 Years Old
Speaking of Capcom Arcade Stadium... where are the additional games that they promised would be coming almost a year back?

@Mariotag It is. Everything is in English except for the voice-overs, but every piece of text and dialogue is completely in English.
