@Jeronan I have done it multiple times. The trick is that you visit the Japanese eshop to buy your game. Then you insert the virtual game card with that Japanese account. Then it can be played with you regular account. Only downside is you can’t lend the game to someone in your family. Worked with Echoes of Wisdom and Bananza so far.
I like that this bunde makes 3D all stars obsolete to a certain extent. You have 64 on the NSO app, Sunshine will be available on the NSO app soon and Galaxy is available through the eshop or this bundle. Sure there are benefits to 3D all stars (physical collectors item, better version of 64) but the weird decision to limit 2 of the 3 games for an anniversary will soon be over. Althought it should not have been limited to begin with of course.
I’m playing some games I never played or finished in anticipation for new entries:
I finally beat Donkey Kong 64 (not completed, just finished it). It was kind of weird seeing the end after playing it a lot as a kid up to a certain point.
I’m also almost done with Prime 2. Need to find nine keys for the last temple.
I think I will try Elden Ring again before starting Prime 3.
Played some +levels of Mario vs. DK and finished DKC2 in little over an hour. On the Nintendo Side I am waiting for the release of Emio and Zelda. Also working my way through some PS5 titles. I played some Final Fantasy VIi Rebirth, and picked up Ghost of Tsushima again after a long break.
Mine is coming next wednesday. I played for 120 hours maybe? I am missing less than 20 shrines and I think I want to look them up now. I don’t know why, but for me it feels more OK to use a guidebook than an online guide.
@Jbuggydroid It is the DX version, you just have to turn the color screen option on in settings. LA DX was was compatible with the OG gameboy despite bein a color title. That is why the game displays in B&W with the option turned off.
In the Netherlands (and the UK) the tweet says it releases 12/02 so I guess the update is live somewhere after midnight. I kind of exptected a UK based website to state something along those lines.
@SteamEngenius Who cares what she looks like in a halloween costume? Obvious choice as she is the one voicing peach in the movie. Kind of uncalled for to say something like that.
@Fizza As a fan of DK I love that track, it houses so many cool eastereggs and I never get tired of it. It is still in my top 5 even in MK8D. I love the shortcut right before the end and the one right before the temple and the way you can make a clean drift between the tiki's. Also, did I mention the music? Awesome jazzy version!
@EVIL-C but does the Xbox have chibi muscular shovelware? All jokes aside, the Xbox is doing great with family friendly games. I have a lot of games on Switch which are also on Xbox gamepass.
I have fixed 6 joy-con with drift by following some steps from a Nintendrew video. It involves some ethanol and a qtip. They are working flawless for months now. I still think it's ridiculous the drift appears in the first place but I do feel like a lot of people give up too easily on their joy-con.
@SmaggTheSmug it is incredible, you start with only a jump. But you can soon use new abilities that make the game more complex in a fun way, this is definitely not a run of the mill autorunner.
I don't know if anyone is familiar with the monument valley games on android/ios? This is very similar, only with a lot less inspired level designs. It is a well made game, but I recommend trying it first on android, since it's free!

Re: Disney Dreamlight Valley Will No Longer Be Free-To-Play When It Leaves Early Access In December
@Princess_Lilly ??? Those people already paid for the game. I think it is more of a bummer for people holding out for the free 1.0 version.
