@BlueOcean Sorry mate, you're right. Yeah I kind of understand the lack of ethernet port on the original wii. But on the Wii U there were so much online games in comparison. Maybe they had some leftover stock of the usb adapters;)
@rjejr That was definitely the worst boss, personally I thought they were nothing like the old Zelda games. I really felt like they put SO much time in creating the overworld, which is fantastic to say the least. That they just kinda forgot how important good dungeons are. The shrines are fantastic in that way, just too short. I would have liked to have a more classic Dungeon feel in the divine beasts. Would have gone hand in hand perfectly with the open world. Albeit with the creativity for defeating bosses and the multiple solutions for puzzles like in the shrines.
I still think the headline format is great, however when some games get the spotlight, chances are that there is a game that gets to much time(ahem, Xenoblade). The Mario bit was great, but they shouldn't have ended on it. The Doom/Wolfenstein reveals were fantastic and would have likely made for a better ending.
True, I get what you're saying. You do know that he Wii Ethernet adapter works? I use it myself for online gaming like ARMS and Splatoon 2. It does not excuse the lack of an ethernet port ofcourse.
It is weird indeed that they ship 3DSes with pre-installed software, but not on the switch.
@rjejr Yeah, the 3 moon mechanic seems smart. The shrines are okay, I'm still bummed out by them replacing actual classic dungeons. The divine beasts are just not filling that void. The korok seeds however, it's a fine mechanic but more different puzzles wouldn't have hurt.
@Powerballad I bought an Xbox one with a digital copy of the Witcher III bundled, it was the same price as the console without included game, but this was maybe a year after release.
@S4ndm4n I never played it although i had an xbox 360 and an xbox one now. Once I heard it is coming to switch, I waited:) the dlc makes the full pricing okay imo
I have preordered both boxed editions of gold/silver, don't even know is I will use the codes or if I will keep them sealed for collection purposes. I wonder why they didn't release crystal as well...
I just finally started playing this last night on the wiiU after owning it for almost a year. Playing it to sharpen my metroidvania skills for this friday:).
@SLIGEACH_EIRE What is exactly the problem with this, the usb cable is ideal to plug into the TV. And most people already have said adapter from their phones/tablets. Edit: I don't think it uses more power than the NES.
Some people keep whining that this is a remake, I am so happy with that, Metroid 1 and 2 are the ones that I could not get in to. Years ago I played Zero mission and that was such a good way to play metroid 1. And like @thesilverbrick said, It's near unrecognizable.
Tipping stars will be non completable after this, all levels are playable but getting enough stars for all the parts will be impossible in the base game.
I enjoyed playing the campaign, felt like a nice portable bitesized metroid prime. I understand some of the negetivity although a lot of it was bad word of mouth. This game deserved better...
@AlexOlney I actually have an original snes controller(pal) in which the L and R buttons are not printed, just like the new one. My other controller is with the letters printed on. Both first party, and very old.
@Anti-Matter 1. Thats not going to happen. 2. Why does one company has to be the best? 3. Stop it with the nagging on playstation(This comes from a Nintendo+Xbox guy)

Re: Deals: Jump Into These Super Mario Odyssey Goodies from the Nintendo UK Store
@BlueOcean That's true, I was only saying that the Xbox bundles were true bundles later in the cycle in comparison to day one.

Re: Video: Super Mario Odyssey Seems to Have at Least 600 Power Moons to Collect
@rjejr I believe you get a triple moon for defeating bosses. But still, I am curious if they have to be defeated.

"but there needs to be one more step to attract a wider audience."
Yeah... Pokémon ofcourse. Many of my friends bought a 3ds with X/Y or with Sun/Moon, this is the real system seller.
Re: The Latest Game From The Stamper Brothers Feels Like A Donkey Kong Country Sequel
Some guy wrote this on twitter:
"You should extend the levels more and see if you can port it to Nintendo Switch's indie e-shop."
They answered with:
"Game is still in very early stages, so I can't confirm anything but I can say we have big plans...just bear with us!"
Re: Super Mario Run Is Back on the iOS App Store
@GoldenGamer88 Yeah, most likely
Re: Super Mario Run Is Back on the iOS App Store
@BensonUii Yeah maybe:p It's just stupid to have 2 articles about basicly nothing on the front page.
Re: Super Mario Run Is Back on the iOS App Store
Why isn't this just an update on the other article?
