Here's Your First Look At The LEGO Super Mario Monty Mole And Super Mushroom Expansion Set

Oh, neat! I wasn't expecting this sort of thing, but I find it really cool!
I already really wanted Lego Mario, so this just sweetens the deal!

I don't know about all of you, but we really enjoyed those Mega Construx. So much variety and they looked good. Wario and Waluigi. Daisy and Bowser Jr. Plus the Mario Kart cars and tracks. Those were terrific.

Any chance this will be available separately?

I have wanted LEGO Mario sets for AGES, but as bizarrely interesting these sets are, we just don’t know enough about how they function in order for me to feel comfortable enough dropping $60 on just the starter set alone.

This is very cute, bat what's up with that grey block?

I understand its function in making the POW block do its thing, but it doesn't look like any Mario obstacle I've ver encountered, and it's pretty big.
Conversely, I understand why it can't look like a Thwomp. Those would behave entirely differently.

Am i the only one who thinks that they’re:

A: massively overpriced
B: erm, just not very good

@hbkay I agree with both A and B. Doesn't enhance creativity either but seems like it would be limiting.
