@Kiz3000 oh yeah ancient! Old enough to remember when Pokémon wasn’t even out yet.

It made me feel super old because i only noticed the Gen 1 Pokémon, but hopefully people are excited for the anniversary.

Around launch, a friend of mine said he wasn’t really interested in a Switch 2 yet but he was going to get one because of the price possibly going up and I thought he was a little crazy, but I guess not.

With their history of Virrual Boy, 3DS, that prototype 3D GameCube Luigis Mansion and then Labo VR, I can’t wait to see their inevitable return to 3D/VR. The on-rails Treasure Tracker level was designed so well and the arcadey shooter was a lot of fun too.

@TheBoilerman Thanks, ok I didnt know it had to be that frequent, but every couple of prints is when I run into problems so that makes sense.

Does anyone have any good tips for getting the filament to stick to their board? I got a new cheap one (Tina3D or something) and it worked great, but now when I try to print something, the filament comes out fine but it just doesn't stick to the board. Ive tried new boards and no luck. Im just using the default temperature that worked originally too.

I can’t wait until someone buys them and all of these great IPs will get a chance of new games.

@StarCollector if this is your ONLY platform, or if you prefer mobile over TV then maybe for this price. It’s just not necessarily the best way to play it, but you’ll get the majority of the experience at its current state.

There is a very consistent trend of spending increasing per every call of duty release, and a similarly consistent trend of revenue decreasing per release. My guess is that they’ll interject a lower budget spinoff in between the black ops/ modern warfare releases while quietly cutting the spending of black ops/ modern warfare releases.

@JohntheRaptor Yeah it’s the 3D fps series. It’s kind of combined shooter and classic Metroid but in 3D.

@DankDonk Yeah same! There’s so much polish and inventive design. My favorite improvement from the older ones are the increased scale of non just the set pieces , but in fights there is a lot more space to move around.

Nintendo has made an impressively graceful transition from their first generation of computer game developer veterans to the next generation. It’s also nice to see what their “new” talent can create. I love 2D Mario games and Wonder was by far my favorite.

Well at least those are a lot of the bugs that people have wanted fixed. 🤷🌱🧟

@LazyDaisy Yeah I think so too unfortunately. Everytime they add a new system, I feel like it’s too good of a deal and they’ve established a ton of subscriptions.

Does anyone know if they put new people in a wimp server at first or something? I tried it for the first time and won 2 matches in the Zero Build mode.

Nintendo :
1) The excellent Luigi’s Mansion. 👻
2) The new Katamari game introduces a lot of great locations and as far as I know, it’s the first time they’ve introduced environmental elements that help or hurt your run.
PlayStation :
1) Dispatch is a great time. For the interactive show genre, it’s not necessarily introducing anything new, but just has a really entertaining story and polished UX.

Maybe the 30fps cap has to do with cross compatibility with online features? I don’t know, but it’s too bad that it’s locked at 30fps. If they’re charging for this, I wish that they would’ve shown loading times too.

Ok great features and it’s going to be awesome BUT it’s so weird that they’re charging for the performance update and the dlc content is free for everyone.

It’s not for me, but I’m happy for the people that are excited for it.

Wow, I thought that 'Zumba' marble game was a typo because 'Zuma' was the original. I guess theres a knockoff of 'Zuma' called 'Zumba' that shares the name with the 'Zumba' workouts.

It’s driving me crazy that they haven’t added Switch 2 as a platform yet even though they’ve had a few switch 2 soundtracks on the app.

It would be cool if you could upload your in-game photos and have them sent to you

It’s interesting that the permission had to be changed post launch because it’s literally just a toggle to allow for that screen capture feature.
Also, even though I like a lot of the content on this app, one area that could be improved is that sometimes I want to see past content that wasn’t from “today”.

I mean it might come to switch 2, but I’m betting that this was in development before they may or may not have requested Switch 2 dev kits. Plus, dealing with a PC, Xbox X, Xbox S, PS5 and Cloud release, I could see why they’d focus on the other consoles for now.

Based on what they’ve decided to port over, it seems like they’ve made some sort of decision not to update their live service games (other than ARMs). Their live service type games such as Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Splatoon, Smash Bros all didn’t yet get an announced port.

Haha awesome. Like the article said, I can’t wait to see if the performance improvements help or hurt speedruns.

Also, it’s always really interesting to see how much can be explored on these time sensitive demos.

@J_C oh sorry just saw this. I was actually on my laptop and got the preorder redirect on Best Buy.

Stay in line! I got in Best Buy’s line at 9:30 and about 45 minutes ago it had me login again with the preorder ready to go.

Where did this expectation of them porting this remake come from? I don’t think they’ve ever ported a remake of a previous game. It would be cool though I guess.

I wonder if they’ll have a definitive US preorder date by the time that they upload the direct.

I held my judgement until the treehouse today. It’s really sterile and other than the well designed mini games, it just looks like a digital information booklet. It does look well designed and it is cheap though.

Cool. Nintendos development page still says that switch 2 inquires are still unavailable so hopefully when Unity makes the announcement then Nintendo will open up the registration page.

I feel like their messaging could’ve been better with Switch 2 Edition pricing. They didn’t even mention that Zelda upgrade is free with NSO or that like 10 other 1st party games are getting free Switch 2 Edition updates.
$10-20 for the amount of content and improvement for something like Zelda, Jamboree or Kirby is a great price IMO.
