Well, finally time to stock up on Mega Man. I’ve never played one before, so I take this as a hint 😂
It is weird how Ultra Street Fighter 2 is never discounted. I am assuming because it is Switch exclusive.
It is a shame as for me it is the best version of Street Fighter 2 and I had no problem paying full price at launch as I have got many hours out of it but I understand why others would be hesitant buying at that price.
Ahh I wish Capcom would release more games for Switch! I already own these games (once, twice ... four times in some cases)...
Is it worth it to double dip on RE and Okami for the HD aspect?
I have all RE and Okami on the gamecube and switch. Very hesitant to have two versions of the same game in my library when it’s only a small remastering of the game.
Got Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection, I remember back in my college days a friend spent most of his free time playing ZX and digging up a little on internet some people say Zero 3 is arguably the best in the series!
Considering Okami HD as I never finished it on my dead Wii
Also, time to pester my friends to join me in Monster Hunter
Do people play monster hunter generations ultimate online anymore? If so I might pick it up.
Anyone who doesn't have the ace attorney trilogy needs to get it. Its easily one of the best games on the switch. I'm already playing through it for the third time
I have every RE expect 0 as I sold it back to gamestop last year. Got a couple mega mans, dmc1 and 3 and Onimusha. I am eyeing beat em up bundle and monster Hunter though.
The same % every time...
I'm waiting for a REAL sale from them because their games are already more expensive on Switch, so a REAL sale would be something like 70% off or more.
Okami and Resident Evil 4 are masterpieces.
@Friendly I never played Okami on any of its other platforms but I can say the Switch remaster is clean. Just wish I liked the game more to enjoy the good job they did.
@Manzoli Except for the DMC games, all of their non-sale prices line up with those on other consoles.
@Friendly I would say getting the game again isn't worth it unless you want to play it on the go or experience it with HD rumble, which was implemented well.
Does Ultra Street Fighter II ever go on sale or does Capcom still expect people to pay $40 for a game that's barely worth $20?
@AJDarkstar
I have the Anniverary Collection too, Alpha 2 may be my favourite Street Fighter game but I think Ultra is the perfect version of Street Fighter 2 so for that reason I love it.
Shinsekai Into the Depths is tempting, but I'm holding out for a possible physical release. Everything else on sale...I already bought.
Get Dragon’s Dogma, it’s totally worth it at that price.
Seem to remember that the resident evil games were way more expensive originally. Glad they at least lowered the original price to something more reasonable than $30/game
@Blooper987 Agreed. Though I settled for the 3DS version during a sale where the Switch version wasn't on sale at the time. But all the same, if anyone hasn't played the series yet, I say get on it. Plus, the sequels are probably on sale as well on the 3DS. So I would recommend if you still have one, load up on them all during the sale.
Okami and Ace Attorney are must-plays.
@Manzoli the standard price is the same price since Capcom lowered these standard prices two months ago.

“If you're looking for some
newold games to check out on your Switch, thisnewoften repeated sale from Capcom might come in very handy indeed.”FTFY...
They’re good games, though. Just don’t feel this is your only chance to add them to your backlog - they’ll be back!
That's a good list of sales
The sad part about those 24 games up there is that there are really only two new games up there (Mega Man 11 and Shinsekai Into the Depths), every other titles are either ports, remakes, remastered, or retro releases on a collection. Capcom didn't do anything new or exclusive for Nintendo Switch this gen unlike their NES-Wii days.
As I say with any Capcom sale: buy Okami. You will not regret it. Unless of course you're one who dislikes action/adventure games.
The offer discounts nearly every 2 months. Not that I am complaining
I wonder if they’ll ever add the Professor Layton, Killer 7 or Viewtiful Joe games to Switch... those are some games I would love to visit again in HD.
@Cool_Squirtle they still do, I actually bought it in the last summer sale, took me a while to get it cause I know how addictive MH games are, they are like crack to me hehe, and yeah, online is still going strong.
@Friendly Ah but don't forget the portable aspect. Imagine having your favorite RE with you at all times.
I shall finally play RE Revelations 2. Hooray.
@retro_player_77 they don’t produce any exclusive stuff anywhere though. It’s all multiplatform.
Since 2017 brand new games were RE:7, 2 and 3 remakes, Monster Hunter World, mega man 11, DM Cry 5 and into the Depths. Apart from that a bunch of collections. All multiplatform. And, do you consider the 3ds games that are on switch now also multiplatform? Cause they’re nintendo exclusives?
I’d say the Switch does get a lot of love and a TON of hours of excellent gameplay from capcom, but the pricing without discounts at the start feels a bit high. I’m loving all the mega man collections, going through the zero collection currently.
I always say I'm going to buy Dragons Dogma......maybe this is the time......although I prefer physical to digital so maybe I hold off for now
Might be just easier to tell us when they’re NOT discounted....
Wish these were sales on the physical versions, too (I'm sure that's more complicated because of the vendors, but I'm just saying).
How come they never put Ultra Street Fighter 2 on sale? I always think about Resident Evil 4, but I’d want that on a standalone cartridge. I know I probably should just download it... ah well.
@AJDarkstar
I agree, used to own it but foolishly sold my PS2 and all its games years ago.
One day I will buy it again.
The Resident Evil games seems to be on sale more often than normal price
Have to get DMC3 this time.
They put 'um up to bring 'um down again.
Hold on, the full price for the Resident Evil games on the US Eshop are $19.99!? They're £29.99 on the UK store.
@AJDarkstar love Alpha3 on ps1 with the challenge fights wwjere you can strengthen base characters.
@AJDarkstar yeah its an awsome game. I love the Mbison stage music in the long grass. Such an awsome game. I would buy it on the switch in the collection but i believe it only has the arcade mode and the world mode is absent like in the arcade. Please correct me if im wrong. Hell, id love to be wrong!
Re4 and Re5 and regularly $30. That is a typo.
@JeanPaul @Cool_Squirtle
Yes the online is still very strong. It's was the motivating factor for me to get a Switch when it released. The single player alone is worth it but obviously the online is where it's at. Prepare yourself though cause there's so much to learn and do but the game doesn't hold your hand. Just throws you in the deep end but worth it if you like that style of game.
Some advice for online. Because there's so many quests/monsters to grind it's best to join turn rooms. Often times when making your own room you could be waiting awhile. Lastly, I play mostly in G Rank (I'm HR 600) but sometimes I like to help out players of any rank. If you see the hunter "Ganner" in any room that's me!
I want Okami HD, but only the physical and as it only came out in Japan physical, it's still pretty expensive
Finally bought RE4 as I’ve never played it before and 15 bucks is a decent deal.
@RustedHero @JeanPaul Thank you both! I'll look for Ganner when I get the game.
It's time for us Monster Hunters to Unite!
#Punsfordays
Capcom need to make some new Switch games already.
Not bad deals! But don't sweat it if you miss it, the same games will be on sale for the same amounts next month!
@Friendly Okami,yes its worth it. RE games are an absolute joke at their pricing,even when on sale. Just my opinion of course,but if you're into Monster Hunter then I'd say MHGU is worth it too. I'd also recommend Dragons Dogma if you're into 3rd person action adventure rpgs
Seeing as these games are on 'sale' more often than they are not, I'll risk missing out. Besides, some of these games need to be cheaper. It's all well and good saying they are half price when the original asking price was three times what you would expect.
Sale back on tomorrow though 🤩
Well I've been stockpiling on gold points so I had enough for a 10 euro game. Went with Okami, I've been meaning to replay that one. I liked that back on the Wii but I suspect it may be showing its age a little bit but I guess I'll see.
Thanks for the heads up by the way.
OKAMI HERE I COME
@PlayedNSlayed thanks .
Okami, even though I have Okami on WII already? Still worth it?
@Friendly for the sale price okami is worth it. I also still have my Wii copy.
