Nintendo has announced a new partnership with Lunchables which will see fan-favourite characters appear on packaging, as well as a competition that will have 750 people walking away with a Switch console.
Beginning on 1st September, characters from games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, and Pokémon Sword and Shield will start to appear on packs. You'll spot them up until 31st December, so keep an eye out for them in-store.
When purchasing one of these special Nintendo-themed packs, you'll find a code inside which can be redeemed online for the chance to win a Nintendo Switch prize pack. Prize winners will receive a Nintendo Switch system and a choice of two download codes for select digital Nintendo Switch content.
A grand total of 750 Nintendo Switch prize packages will be awarded, and even if you're not one of the lucky chosen ones, you may receive 100 My Nintendo Platinum points when redeeming the code.
Sounds pretty sweet to us!

A series about animals and nature supporting the most artificial lunch I have ever seen. Great combo!
...wouldn't turn down the peanut butter cup though
They’ve been doing this for forever. Like since the beginning of 2018. Every time my sister gets one I make a joke about it.
Lunchables are total crap... Cheese and crackers with the worst deli meat and a piece of candy.
@doctorhino there good for little kids. The pizza ones are the only ones I ever got and they were at least decent. It’s not like your asking for a gourmet meal when you get these.
Last time they did this none of the codes worked for me.
@Blooper987 Not good for little kids
Cheese and crackers one:
Total Fat 13g. 20%
Saturated Fat 7g. 35%
For 260 calories that's mostly calories from fat.
@doctorhino not healthy as much as just good for parents to get them a real cheap meal quickly.
I'm in the UK, and I love these... we don't get the choccy, though! ☹️
Lunchables are pretty much ration meals for kids
The food is low-quality, but I loved these as a kid, and I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't happily eat one now.
Dairylee lunchables?!
I can't wait to see some Nintendo collector's video in 10 years with a lovely, unopened pack of Animal Crossing Lunchables 🤣 YUMMY!
Made from the meat of all the unwanted villagers
Losing entry codes should be forced to watch through 15 pop-up messages from Guilliver talking about his missing communicator parts.
Funny how the comments on these articles always go off in an interesting direction, like people arguing of how unhealthy Lunchables are lmao.
@RazorThin the article is about lunchables, and we’re talking about lunchables. How is that derailing?
The grade/middle school I went to didn't provide lunch outside of a few special days, so you had to bring your own. I used to love Lunchables, especially the pizza ones lol. I probably ate these 2-4 days a week on average. Won't touch them these days though.
The ham is godlike, but everything else in Lunchables is utterly disgusting.
@Noid The nachos and pizza lunchables were always my favs. The ham tasted weird to me
Now you can enjoy airline-grade food on land!
@Eel
"Made from the meat of all the unwanted villagers"
What?! 😱😱😱
sign me up, i love this stuff, especially the ham one
Lunchables somehow taste like what I imagine "used food" would taste like. I'm not sure it's made from food, and I'm pretty sure their "ham" is mostly just water and fat coagulated and dyed pink.
But for whatever sick reason I loved them long ago!
@Eel @HobbitGamer #meatandgreet indeed! Now I know what that meat grinder DIY recipe is for....
@Anti-Matter You contributed a few! 😉
circular ham confirmed for smash!!
@doctorhino OH, I'm sure there's worse deli meat. Oscar Meyer is maybe the SECOND OR THIRD cheapest meat at the store.
Yeah, seriously it's been a decade or so since I last thought the idea of eating a Lunchables appetizing.
(and I was raised on OM's crappy meats)
@KingMike I buy the other Oscar Meyer meats that come in the plastic containers but these look like the ones in the little plastic zip packs that are cheaper. They have different qualities of deli meat and chose their crappier line.
You will only get 9% chance to win one
@doctorhino I think all Oscar Meyer are the lowest meat quality possible. Those poor animals.
Don’t mean to offend anyone tho!
I Just see no correlation in the beautiful friendships of animal crossing and the inhumane industry of this crap. So sad.
Why can't Nintendo do this stuff with Coca-Cola or Sprite or something. Lunchables are for kids, put something out that us adults like, like bottles of soda, or canned foods/frozen foods and stuff like that.
In the UK, it would be so cool if Nintendo did this with Walkers (Known as Lays everywhere else!) and Kellogg's. I eat crisps and cereal all the time!
