Does that mean that the Encore content will be included on the cartridge? And if not, why bother?
I am guessing that tracklist is house music which I can't stand so yeah not for me.
Pleasantly surprised how good this game is, like a mixture of guitar hero and thumper.
@Joeyjoejoejr looks more like a spruced up amplitude clone to me.

@DESTROYA kid no one ask your dumb opinion. Just go and listen some thrash pop or hiphop
Love Avicii, not interested in this game though. ◢◤
I literally and physically revolted when I heard the music. Yikes.
Never knew this game existed but I want to play it now. I'm also not usually a fan of this style of music but somehow Avicii is a rare exception. Seriously if you haven't already then watch the music videos (Hey Brother, Waiting for Love, Wake me Up). They tell a story and shows how deep the lyrics actually are.
This isn't some disco/rave crap, these are real songs with meanings.
@TG16_IS_BAE So hard it changed your avatar?
@shazbot Hahahahah!! Ok I loled
So seriously, what is all this DJ nonsense? I can't wrap my mind around it, maybe I'm too old. People pay money to stand/sway/"dance" in an arena, on X/MDMA, while a strangely-dressed dude broadcasts "music" that is sampled from others' work or created digitally (and one could simply play at home if they have a capable 2 channel set-up), all while pumping his one arm that douchey DJ way?
Get off my actual-music-appreciating lawn.
So sad to see all of these negative comments regarding this game. I find it to be a fantastic title that has exhilarating gameplay and mechanics that really make you feel connected to the music while also giving a great sense of speed. The environments as well are also stunning, especially the city level. The first time I encountered a section that showed the whole city leading all the way out into the distance, my jaw dropped! Plus a portion of the game royalties will go to "The Tim Bergling Foundation" which is helping to recognize suicide as a global health emergency and removing the stigma regarding mental health issues. I hope some of you will give the game a chance when it releases for Switch! It was a great experience for me and it is for a great cause!
Does anyone else think it's weird that one of the production companies for this game has, as its logo, a fairly prominently displayed razor blade?
At last. That's good music. Bored with songs that the singers talk instead of singing.
@DESTROYA Great job man, not thinking about others opinion and disrespecting a dead person without feeling in the slightest bad. I recommend you to delete this garbage comment before you start any more problems, but hey, wanna look like a jerk, keep this up and have even worst comments thrown at you.
Saying your opinion isn't a bad thing, but acting like a total jerk isn't. @Darlinfan had at least felt bad about his passing and would buy this game if it goes to the foundation AND noticed that he might sound a bit disrespectful.
@Atticus-XI @TG16_IS_BAE You guys might not realize that Avicii has passed from suicide, and I can understand that, but jeez you guys need to step back and realize that this is more than just a cash grab. It seems to be supporting a foundation that aims at preventing suicide, with profit going into the foundation. You guys can have opinions, no doubt, but at least do your research before writing down a comment that'll get someone to think you're dancing on Avicii's grave.
@Mrnotultra I haven’t heard that, that’s very sad. Thank you for passing that info along.
@TG16_IS_BAE it's ok, I'm glad you noticed your mistake
@JokerCK
Why that’s mostly garbage too.
Did I hurt your feelings because I don’t like the music? Get a life
@Mrnotultra Ahhhhh, apologies if it came across harshly. I did not know he died and I wasn't looking to attack him or anyone personally. I'm a bit old fashioned, I guess, but I just don't get the appeal of the DJ genre. Just my opinion as a middling musician myself.
@Atticus-XI It's all good! We all make mistakes like this.
I guess the extra tracks make up for the extra year I had to wait. I really should play the free copy I got with Twitch prime a few weeks ago. If it's good I'll buy a copy.
Oh no! I only realised who this was recently. They play loads of his music at my gym. Now, I'll admit it's not my usual cup of tea, but I do know some of his songs. Such a shame he passed away. Man, I had no idea
I never heard an AVICII song, but the one on the trailer is pretty damn good, and I’m all about Rhythm games. I will give it a try for sure.
Truly tragic what happened with him. Really sad. Don’t like the music buts it’s for a good cause so may pick it up. R.I.P
I own this on the Laptop but on the strength of the demo I also have ordered this for the Switch, my laptop is not the best and I was interested to see how it ran on the Switch. The game runs great, 60fps and looks amazing. If you like Rhythm games then give the demo a go and see if you like it.
Since he was one of my favorite musicians, I will get around to buying it.
Wow the comments!
Probably gonna get vitriol from haters for saying this, but I enjoyed the demo, I've always liked his music, definitely purchasing, especially as some of it goes to the Tim Bergling Foundation.
Huh, not my kind of music, but I'm surprised by the vitriol towards it. I thought it was going to be 'house' and 'techno' it that really generic, repetitive fashion. I mean, it sounds like boring 'ole Ed Sheeran to me. It's pop, and it sounds like good vibes. The rhythms within are more interesting than the truly average stuff. While I'm a little more out there and only really appreciate stuff like Flying Lotus, this is not as horrendous as all the critics here would like to think it is!
Amazing game with high production value. Cudos to the makers of this game. I am having a great time.
Finally that thing is gone from the coming soon section of the eShop. Felt like it's been there since a year.
@HotGoomba
