@YamAsereht I consider myself a loyal WiiU supporter (I still play on the ill fated console) and I do not care that Nintendo are releasing the best games again on Switch. As the only person I know that owned a WiiU, I was regularly telling people all the great games available to always fall on deaf ears. Now that the Switch is a success, these new Switch owners can play these fantastic games for the first time.

I hoping for Switch Party to be unveiled and the Direct to be presented by Cammie Dunaway in that white suit.

@Kienda Totally agree. To me, the main story had already taken place ... and you failed. The game is your story of redemption/revenge and you learn more about your failure by means of the cutscenes throughout the game. This is helped immensely by the vocal performances of the major characters.

I wasn't going to since I own the original on Xbox360 and then 1 & 2 on WiiU but damn, that special edition is nice. What would tip me over the edge is exclusive costumes for Bayonetta 2 like they did for the original in the WiiU version.

@Kit It is one aspect of Japanese culture that is quite creepy but it does provide amusement in the form of videos like the above.

Just watched this sneakily on my phone at work with no sound and had great trouble not bursting into laughter at the game and Alex's face. Can't wait to watch this at home (or when enough people have left the office!)

Nintendolife are so biased, giving bad games low scores all the time.

If Nintendolife has a bias, why isn't every game a 9 or 10? Could it be that the reviewer really likes the game? If you read the review, this comes across as an 8 or 9. Personal opinion has to play a part in any review to some extent. I know some people who don't like Ocarina of Time. They can appreciate it is well made but the game is not for them. Naturally if they reviewed it, they would give it a lower score than someone who liked it.

I love how people are complaining that this game got a 10. Pokemon Sun/Moon got a 10, this game improves on it, it also got a 10! Why is this a surprise? If you think it is too soon to be releasing an Ultra version, don't buy it. If you hated Sun/Moon, this game will probably not change your mind so don't buy it. I will not be buying this game as I do not like Pokemon games but millions will. What percentage of these people will buy this game because NL gave it a 10? I think even NL would agree that it will be less than 1%. So in the grand scheme of things, NL giving another well made game a 10 is not much of issue.

Does the bug fixes include more stability or is that a given?

@shani @kilroy Damn the laziness of the developers of Smash TV and Geometry Wars. We could have had another couple of 3D shooters to throw on the pile instead of two of the greatest shooters ever made.

@Agramonte I would hope after being made for seven years that Cuphead was a good game. Does make sense when you find out that it was made by two people but then you read the Wikipedia page and see that it was made by more and the two people is just marketing BS like you said. Having it be a Microsoft exclusive, and nice injection of cash no doubt, would also keep them going for the last seven years.

@DanteSolablood They should have waited until Autumn when they will have many AAA games, packaged 1-2 Switch with the console, added more internal storage, lowered the price of controllers and hired a great PR team to get the message out.

Never understood the whole reaction Youtuber craze or even the people playing games and putting them on YouTube and getting millions of subscribers thing. Surely the more time people spend watching these people play games is the less time they spend playing games. Bizarre.

There has only been hundreds of Chinese and Japanese films about ninjas so not only is it a very arrogant statement it will be a video game adaptation, not the best place to start when planning the defining Ninja movie of our time.

I bet they have started work on a new Metroid game and I do not want them to even mention the game until they are ready. Nintendo are in a unique position in the videogame industry in that where other companies work to deadlines, they only release games when they are ready. Nintendo fans do have the least faith out of all the Big 3 but Nintendo nearly always delivers a quality product. It just takes them a while longer. I have faith in them. Shame a lot of 'fans' don't.

@97alexk Good call. Wanted more big franchises but at least most of the games shown were this year or early 2016. My most wanted games of the show, No Mans Sky and ShenMue 3, are either not even in proper development yet (possible 2017) or no release date given.

Wow, so much negativity on this thread. Slaps in the face, riots, huge disappointments. If you are truly a Nintendo fan, you gotta be able to take the rough with the smooth. SSB announcements, then Mother and now this (ha ha). Give this game a chance before claiming it's ruined your life.

That price is very difficult to accept. I have shown it to my nephew who says he would rather have the Lego one than another Infinity but naturally still wants all the amiibo's I can get my hands on as well.

The fact that Streets of Rage 2 is in my top 3 home console scrolling beat'em ups and Gunstar Heroes is one of the best games ever made has made me very, very happy. M2 are the best.

Horror films rarely scare me. Horror games on the other hand usually have me crapping myself. Lone Survivor, ZombiU, Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil 4 are the ones that get me the most. Silent Hill on Wii also deserves special mention. Really looking forward to this game.

Quite frankly, I hope the smart device games are crap as can't really afford any more amazing Nintendo games other than on WiiU and 3DS. Hope the overall deal goes well for the Big N.

This is fantastic news. My fave scrolling beat'em up on Megadrive and one of the best ever on any platform.

@Kirby_Fan_DL3 @Hy8ogen Well said Hy8ogen. Why these people click into the article of a game they have no interest in to leave a comment saying that they have no interest in is fascinating. Although if they do it to get attention, we of course are giving them that attention.
Onto the game, this looks incredible. The WiiU really needs a game like this. It will never sell as well as a Mario game but I hope NoE gives it a big publicity campaign. A x-promotion deal with the 3DS one would be great.

I am looking forward to this though as downloaded it on Wii VC but couldn't get into it but this could just be the answer as can play on the go now.

It would have cost me £18 more to get the Scarf edition than the regular and I have never paid £18 for a scarf and even then I would never have worn it, so if you pay $1000 for this then you have way more money than sense. Even $100 is a bit steep.
