Shovel Knight is a game I keep expecting to be able to get on sale for like 5 bucks but I never seem to see it go down. Instead more games and subtitles get added and now I'm not even sure what I wanted to buy in the first place.

Wake me up when it's 20 dollars or it's 2002 again.

@NintonicGamer I think that depends on if you have close friends that you can game with.

I have always said that what needs to be remade are the disasters, not the successes. So I approve this.

This is not a high resolution or extreme texture game. Id this is the best they can do... Yikes.

I've said a bunch that I'm fine with stable rates as low as 24fps as long as it doesn't ever drop further down and has a clean resolution. This doesn't a accomplish any of my target goals. It's all negative and no positive.

FTL is one of my favorite games of all time. I wish there was more.

I really liked the demo, but learning it's short and there's no team up levels makes me sad. It feels one dimensional but unique in two overlapping genres I like, Turtles and tactics.

If I had social media I'd be flooding it with requests to cancel the film and make an animated film with Ghibli instead. Just hand them the keys.

@garfreek The price doesn't include the NSO subscription you have to pay to keep access to the game. So in honesty any online game is the most expensive game on the system.

You get a physical card that can malfunction or fail. It still requires a game not be delisted. It further more is harmful to the environment because it's wasted resources on something that doesn't work without Internet infrastructure. It also requires you spend money on additional media card space if you want to have many games or simply want to ensure that the system dying won't take your games with it.

In short there's only one benefit to GKCs over digital and it's one that few people will use, and that's resell value. But supply and demand says it is unlikely the value will remain.

Notice, they do not use the term game key cards. They are dancing around this. This survey is being done to try and rubber stamp their decisions.

I could work for this website. I articulated the same thoughts while playing the game. This is the absolute best map I have ever used in a game because it orients you so well. If this game didn't allow you to snap zoom back into the game from the map, it would have been a frustrating disaster of a game.

The map alone raised the score of the game by at least 10 points.

The game is too slow for an adventure game. And too fast for an RPG. It has potential. But it feels Terrible wanting to run up to an enemy and taking 2 times longer to get into sword range.

I don't remember anyone complaining that Spider-verse was even fewer fps.

This is just because the industry is contracting.

A year to two years ago (ish) games were getting cancelled and everyone was being fired and AI was being forced on all the programmers. This is causing a major gap to occur. You can see it with all platforms. The games are vanishing because the corpos have taken away all the resources and are batting down the hatches for the economic collapse of the West, so they can come out on the other side with record profits. This is what we all get for putting the worst people alive in charge of everything.

They are throwing quality games in the trash and the only stuff coming out is Indies and tent poles for the near future.

Nintendo will be the exception to the rule going forward... So expect every partner showcase to be a bunch of remakes and tiny games for the next 3 years.

Games never used to do that. I feel like caring about this is like saying the animated Aladdin film is worse than the live action because graphics are more important.

I just don't see why everyone is obsessed with an artificial number. Can you enjoy the game at 30 60 or 120 fps? That's down to gameplay and story.

This actually looked like the most interesting game in the direct. I mean the twist is so apparently obviously, but it felt like a good take on Eternal Darkness and that's exciting.

I am getting Madden just because I haven't bought a football game in 20 years and while I don't want to give them money I do want to refresh just because my 360 is probably going to die.

Like all these showcases, there's probably something for most people but nothing is going to please everyone.
