Faith restored. Funny thing, I'm gonna go watch that video now. Probably did when it first came out but don't mind if I give myself a refresher.

A change in the timeline. Following the lore, eventually humanity goes extinct. So maybe these newer Megaman games try to pull a legend of Zelda with multiple timelines where wiley never gets the chance to create the virus that wrecks the X universe.

Scarlet and Violet are the Skyrim of Pokemon Games. Too bad the community can't fix it for them.

6/10. It has the makings of an excellent game. However, that performance is atrocious. The 3 branches of gym badges, titans, or gang wars is a nice touch but don't feel fully baked. World still feels empty ish like arceus. QoL touches are great but some are missing that didn't carry over from PLA. Battle system didn't carry over. Overall I feel they could of used another year to at LEAST iron out most of the performance issues. Those crazy bugs are another thing.yikes.

Quick, somebody get on their ride, click the left stick and then click the 2nd controller left stick to see if that works.

I am not one of those sales. Haven't been feeling it honestly. I'm sure I'll get to it eventually....

The next system will probably be at best, as powerful as a ps4 pro or something along those lines. Maybe as powerful as the steam deck?

Edit: nintendo never does cutting edge, at least not in the last 20 years.

Back in 1997, my elementary schools computer labs used to have those colorful Mac PCs. We'd log in during our PC day and for about an hour, all my classmates and I would see how long we'd last until we all died of dysentery.

It's a fine line to walk. As we all know, behind all these unions, corporations and employees are people. What one person considers harassment could be grounds for discipline or a pink slip. Others may see it as just being "silly" and "poking fun". These decisions ultimately affect lives, reputations, etc. Personally I saw it as an overreaction by the company. He ended up getting paid for it.

@Wexter yeah nah. Don't see it that way. They weren't called out by name. It was a minor thing, a color change, not some game breaking bug. Easily remedied. As for the Japanese work culture, THAT is a can of worms I'm not getting into with you. You seem to be pretty passionate about the bullying/harassing thing. You do you.

Just as there are garbage companies, there are garbage unions. Certain unions make sense in hazardous occupations for example. In other situations they are a detriment to everyone. Simply talking about it shouldn't get you fired, nor should being vague about what you're working on. I get breaching an NDA if you mention specifics like build number, game title, names of employees, etc. However, simply mentioning that something was funny because the color change in some background is hardly an NDA offense.

If I recall correctly, EA's battlefront 2 had pay to win mechanics that were quickly condemned. I think that this stuff is always the start. It's a spectrum. First cosmetics, characters, then eventually pay to win. They're probably looking for a happy medium in the end for their shareholders. Players, meet the pot of warm water.....

Yeah, I'm not feeling English mario. Every other dub us fine. I mean even the German one with its gruff older sounding mario is better. I don't have anything against Pratt, I loved him in the Lego movie, it just doesn't fit. It's all subjective anyway, I hope the movie blows up the box office.

I heard the French dub of the trailer and that version of Mario is better. It's got a touch of Martinet, but not the same level where it would get grating.

@SonOfDracula there are thousands of internet cafes. Granted many, won't be able to run the game but some will. Who knows if the game will make it as long as the ill fated Babylon falls.

@Mountain_Man short term gain is always detrimental. I haven't bought a madden game since 2005 and I haven't played one since 2013. I won't play those games until they change their tactics. I can wait, and I've mentioned this to my friends who have also come around to the realization that paying $70 for a roster update and copy and paste mechanics with old features being rebranded as 'new' is straight up BS. I'm hoping it eventually changes but I'm not holding my breath.

For those of us across the pond, I wish EA would release the NFL license from its evil claws like it has with FIFA. Absolutely no respect for the player base.

That's why we have the National Relations labor board. Collects all these complaints, finds a pattern, proves with evidence and proceeds to take action. If all this is proven false then nothing comes of it and the contractor(s) are sadly out of luck.

Former contractor could be withholding info to appear in a more positive light. He could as someone put it have "sour grapes". He could also be telling the truth and he was unjustly fired from that headhunter agency. I will wait for the NLRB to render a decision.

I am literally preparing a new rig just so I can run cemu and find a copy of XCX to play on it since there is a high likelihood that they won't port it to the switch or even the next system. I've made my peace. Who knows, with how expensive PC parts can be, some news may arrive during the build process.

Not really interested in this one. The next DQ monsters, DQ3 remake, builders, or mainline DQ is my jam.

@MichaelP I'm waiting for that X sequel. Or if not, waiting to build a PC that'll run it. Good on them for making the game bigger but none really caught my attention like X did. Did not care for the character models though haha.

You know which games I emulate? Those you can no longer purchase without paying an arm and a leg for the original game/hardware. This right here is unacceptable. The game isn't even out yet. How many lost sales would this be?I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo takes into account when considering if they should continue the series. Corporations can be petty too haha.

Captain falcon is a bounty hunter right? Can I a game where the racing is the side gig and we focus on his bounty hunting? Cowboy bebop style?

@BLD it sort of sounds like he hates his own games. Kind of like how bands with hit singles grow to hate their own creations sometimes. What better way to sabotage games than to cut content or features.

@Deviant-Dork Pokémon started out as a Gameboy game, then came the TCG. So yes, it's relevant, just as people who were shot over game consoles, copies of video games, etc. Just goes to show, people will can/will be killed over the most trivial things.

They had me going there for a moment. Thought the third entry was announced.

DQ in my opinion, is unique in the first 6 games as those could be considered as 2 sets of trilogies.(1-3, 4-6) After that, the remaining games are more standalone stories. If somebody wants to dip a toe, try the standalone stories first and if you like it enough, give the trilogies a shot afterwards. Just my 2 cents.

Just gonna wait this out until base+sunbreak is just like the+iceborne. All bundled at $60 bucks or on sale for something reasonable like $70 USD. Just my thoughts.

I'm of the belief that sakurai could have implement both. One for the pro scene and the other for everyone else

Just haven't found Rise as appealing as World was. I think I'm just burnt out. I poured the most number of hours into World than I did with 3U or 4U. Skipped generations. Maybe sunbreak will make it worthwhile for me. Kudos to those who currently enjoy Rise.

@CGSasuke it's too late for me man. My niece now has my leftover Wii u console without the gamepad. I gave it up as a loss. It's been years since then. I could try and buy a gamepad on ebay or something and see if she still has the console but it's a stretch. Thanks for the suggestions.

Still not financially worth it. Even the current basic subscription isn't worth it. The imminent shutdown of the Wii u/3DS eShop a have shown me there is STILL more value in their shops than the switch subscription. We're supposedly half way through the switch lifecycle so time hasn't helped sweeten the deal just yet.

@Debo626 my Wii U's gamepad died and I was never able to finish the game. So I had to make due with watching the cutscenes. In my defense, my son(3yr old at the time) said the gamepad was dirty and ran it under the kitchen faucet. It survived a few days after before dying. I tried self repairs, even bought a new screen for it but alas, it wasn't enough. Frankly to put forth the effort to get a "new" Wii u isn't worth it. I will hold out hope as you've mentioned.
