I have the maxed out ancient armor set. I just don't care and take the beams to the face. I think I lose half a heart. Cut the legs with an ancient weapon. One hit does it and they become super easy.

The hardest ones are silver lynels with the crusher weapon. One hit with a fully upgraded barbarian armor and it still took 8 hearts. They hit like a semi truck

The UK is unbelievably 'meh' towards nintendo. I never hear nintendo on top of the charts. Maybe a title here or there but those are far and few in between

So I've found 80 shrines already, just from wandering around and following the plot. Im reaching that point where wandering around isn't going to help much longer. Instead I've been wandering around looking for all the lynels, hinoxes, and taluses, so i can farm their parts and weapons.

@Spiders look, I want it to succeed. I want it to sell better than either sony or Microsoft. As generations go on, kids are being raised on other gaming devices. I'm raising my kid on nintendo but I see friends who let their game on smart devices. The perceived value isn't there for parents like me. It's a combination of factors that make me believe they will make it to wii u lifetime sales. On the optimistic side, GameCube levels. On the delusional side, wii level. Just an opinion dude

I like the switch. I unfortunately think they will just match wii u lifetime sales. Maybe 15 mil. Optimistically, 25 mil lifetime sales.

No, not worth it. I feel now that developers are using amiibo as a quick cash grab. There is no more clever or innovative use. I liked their functionality in sm4sh. I like their upcoming functionality in BotW (wolf link) and multiple uses other games. If it's just for one game and the amiibo were created for that one game then it feels pointless. Just my 2 cents.

I'm probably not going to get one. Follow the same strategy i did with my Wii U. Wait and see what bundles come to the US. So most likely my purchase will be either be this holiday season or next. Sorry nintendo, you just haven't made a compelling enough case for me to buy it Day 1.

If external drives are brought back I can reuse my wii u he's. Or get an adapter for a special ssd I have throw it in a usb case and I'm good. I'd hIf yo be careful about which games on switch and which goes to the drive

@Spoony_Tech I prefer to believe Nintendo after Gearbox's history in the industry. Maybe they should post the correspondences between them and Nintendo in its entirety to see who cut off communications. Maybe Nintendo sees the risk Gearbox poses and would rather not deal with them. Nobody wants a half-baked game. I recall Devil's Third(Turd for those who despise it) being a pain in the neck to the point that Nintendo didn't even bother marketing it much. Seemed like an embarrassment

An online app for lobbies,chatting, etc. I can see this is meant to remove the trolls, ToS abusers, and so on by identifying them individually using the app. The app gathers your serial# or something else hard-coded off your phone so you can't spoof it, or go on creating multiple accounts. As for the S/NES games, I am in a wait and see pattern.

Those leaving because of a subscription , too bad. They resisted for years. It's only fair that they try to recoup the costs of maintenance , the cost of the actual servers, the startup costs for the development of the switch network. Future costs and why can't they make a buck or 2 so they can finance new games with it. Gawd forbid they make us happy with that.

2 1/2 hrs- 6hrs is good to me. 6hrs for simple games. 2 1/2 hrs for really intensive games like skyrim or BoTW I assume

It's tomorrow for some of you. It's same day for me. 15hrs to go. 8pm EST. Best part, 8 of those hours are work related. So the wait will be minimal because of it.

Having a high ranking target employee as a close friend might help me get some switch details. Then again, doesn't everyone have that one insider to tell us this kind of info from a retailer

@Damo I was contacted for the US switch preview tour. I'm going February 10th with my wife to the DC location. Just thought you guys should be aware as the US one is also reaching out to members.

This is nice and all for the nes classic but can we first get the switch in our hands before we make these accessories. I get trying to make it to the market first but I for one would like to enjoy the device at home first before I decide to look at ways to enhance/protect it. That's just me though.
