I don't see the problem with it people spend more at the movies etc I myself can spend double this on weekly digital comics so I don't get the fuss.

While it'd be nice to have killer 7 on the wii u I won't hold my breath for much Nintendo support.hopefully I'm wrong i know sony have sfv but I'd love for Nintendo to fund a new street fighter alpha.

The last trailer I seen with the go karts and fps looked like it had potential.itll be interesting to see how Nintendo advertise this on the eshop.im also wondering how stone shire will fare when it's released next week I'm hoping an eu release isn't far off.

I don't think a price cut would hurt.a few of my friends have been tryin to find 2nd hand consoles at a decent price or considering trading their wii to offset the price.im sure the attach rate could help compensate for a reduced console price.

While I doubt there's gonnae be anything other than maybe whatever tantalus are porting to concern me n my wii u with ,it was at least nice n professional of square to push this back seeing as it's traditionally nintendos spot.

@Peach64 igavania could still be profitable on wii u though shovel knight seems to have done pretty well on the eshop.affordable space adventures which costs more has been in the eu eshop chart top 20 since it was released I'm sure a game from the maker of a franchise that most fans (on this site at least) enjoy could surpass those games.hardware numbers aren't great but there's certainly enough of an install base for a 3rd party developer to be profitable

Hopefully these losers are never seen again unless someone spots them in the job centre.

I do have to wonder if or when the mobile market bottoms out which admittedly might not be for a while are all these companies going to suddenly back pedal onto consoles.at least Nintendo have their own hardware to fall back on.

Will the digital event and treehouse streams be available to view after the event? I do alternating shift work and e3 is my weekend on,am doing 12 hours a day so can't even stay up late once I'm finished.

Quite impressed that mario party has shown the stamina it has.a positive week for the big N overall I can see there being another puzzles n dragon tie in down the line if it keeps up the good sales.hopefully some more back catalogue games pick up sales from the new buyers.

@WaveBoy that Would be brilliant the tropical islands in hd would look great and it's the type of game nintendo aren't really known for now here's hoping.

I'd really like to see metroid and a new ip that's action or adventure based even project hammer resurrected would be cool.itd be nice to hear some news on art academy ,a new flipnote studio or the patent leaked last year for what looked like a wii u music game focused on multitracking,overdubbing etc.I think creation type software would really suit the gamepad alongside mario maker.

They could let Altus run wild with he back catalogue of RPGs.
They could let platinum make a 3d streets if rage or a golden axe that isn't beast rider.
They could capitalise on the success of project cars ,the crew etc by delving into their own history of outrun,Daytona,sega rally Ferrari f335 .
They could see the wii u needs sports games and release a new virtua tennis and virtua striker/sega worldwide soccer .
They could put a new toejam n earl or Alex Kidd with off TV play on the eshop and watch it top the charts.
But they won't they'll just keep putting out half baked sonic after half baked sonic while trying to figure out how to make football manager free to play.

My dad still plays extreme g 2 on the GameCube if they get this polished up id definitely give it a chance.

Oh well it's his loss hopefully Sony n Microsoft give it some advertising on their digital shop n it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.i won't back a stretch goal tho I appreciate they explained their reasoning but it just doesn't really sit with me when yooka laylee can get simultaneous release confirmed for a 3d game.

As others have said there's been no advertising and everything's been focused on splatoon.theres also the eshop discount for those who bought kirby vc games to take into account and the matter of people getting paid 2 weeks ago n being skint mid month.i plan to pick it up once I've cleared a bit of my backlog.

Oh n I reckon the new 3ds will get pokemon z or x2/y2 probably the latter to get more sales.

Well we know star fox will need to be shown.we also know retro and next level are working on projects,and that devils third is due at some point.outside of that there's the possibility that Camelot,platinum,nst etc have been working on something.theres tantalus wii u port and whatever that turns out to be and probably some more amiibo use.honestly at this point it could go either way any other company would be heavily teasing announcements already to make up for the lack of zelda while nintendo just carry on as mysteriously as normal lol.

While there's games like excitebots or fatal frame I'd like to play here in the uk ,I really don't see this being a huge game changer.its one of those things nintendo haters use to justify not buying consoles n if it is removed I highly doubt they'll all rush out n buy an nx.In the bigger picture though if this is representative of large scale changes in the way nintendo do things it may be a positive sign that they're going to be more directly competitive with the other companies.

@BinaryFragger people say that? Surely even diehard fanboys have to realise more 3rd party support or at least more 2nd party deals are desperately required since nintendo don't have the man power or working pace to produce enough games for the mass market.

It could be fun If it's gameplays refined and the customisation is extensive.saying that wouldn't at all be surprised if it's a pretty short eshop game.i remember miyamoto was making a point of how the new zelda would suit short play sessions so I think fun in small doses may be his mode of thinking just now.

I'd second pretty much everything suggested lol some amazing ideas.other than those i think it'd be cool to have a yoshi soft play area for the infants a "kirbys dream course" based mini golf course and a pilotwings rocket belt ride.oh and some sort of xenoblade/fire emblem show like the batman live tour with a big screen for effects m backgrounds with actors n such.

Well I guess the wii has now beaten the master systems official lifespan thanks to this.depending on how much ma weans nursery is i might just get this for the hell of it.

Day one is pretty odd id like to see clarification on why it's not just in the regular game. Depending on the length of the quests though it could be decent value 12 quests for what'll be about £15.49 here.

@GraveLordXD it's certainly a pale shadow of its former self.i meant more from a business perspective there's enough nostalgia that nintendo fans would be more likely to give the series more of a chance after every misstep.

No sympathy for them at all and can't help but think if they showed a bit more attention to nintendo it might not be as bad.
1:the wii u doesn't get fifa anymore and fifa 13 keeps popping up on the wii u uk retail chart.that means there's clearly an unchallenged audience looking for an up to date football game and they still won't put pes on the wii u.
2.nintendo fans are pretty much the only install base guaranteed to buy a new castlevania due to older fans n the vc again.
3.contra rebirth done pretty well yet the wii u doesn't get one or a gradius rebirth on the eshop all the while there's a lack of shooting games (of any kind really ) on the console.
So yeah with that n the whole no ideas for the gamepad while integrating smartglass for msg v exactly why should I feel bad for them? No one to blame but themselves.

Bit of a shame kind for those who enjoy the cod series.gotta laugh at those saying it's good that this doesn't come while praying for Kingdom hearts to arrive tho .cos a game with Disney characters being the only 3rd party success is EXACTLY what nintendo need in the long term bigger picture :-/

If it was outsourced and of wind waker quality I wouldn't have a problem with f-Zero sunshine or a more obscure title like eternal darkness or killer 7.id rather we get more new games tho and have some high quality remasters as the icing on the cake.
