I'll probably get the railroad sim out of sheer curiosity , would like to see comic workshop hit the wii u at somepoint.
Could someone recommend me a megsmsn vc game to start with? Always wanted to get into the series but I dunno where best to begin.

I hope they keep the screen. I love off tv play for the virtual console and do enjoy when it's integrated into the gameplay.Even 3rd party stuff like the backpack in zombiU or using it for bat-computer n aiming batarangs in arkham city, I enjoyed it a lot.Maybe the NX can get a shooting game where the screens are split between first and third person that could be fun.

@kyuubikid213 yeah I know nintendo won't stop supporting it,but it hasn't stopped others proclaiming their abandoning it. I was referring to an NX launch game based on the sort of timescale it would probably take
Kojima to get a game out there. It would most likely have to be a new ip starting from the concept up ,plus if he's unfamiliar with nintendos hardware architecture then maybe a new consoles launch would be a more realistic target. If they DID contract him and they could get a game out for the wii u before the run up to a new console then I'd be delighted. It would show the prophets of doom that they're definately not abandoning the console, and most likely be a blast to play.

Re: Poll: Where Do You Stand On DeNA, Smart Device Games, Nintendo 'Membership' And The Nintendo NX?

I'm hoping the mobile revenue gets put back into developing amazing console games and really think it can benefit them.As for the NX im hoping for 2 things
1:nintendo increase their 2nd party studios or increase the workload of those they have. They need to work on the assumption they'll get little 3rd party support so that if they don't they'll be prepared and have games ready between the first party offerings.
2:they continue to promote indie games on the eshop. It only seems fair to me there's a few teams that have been more than happy to bring their games to the wii u even if NX does get 3rd party support nintendo shoul stick by the indies that have stuck by them during the wii u.

This could be a good thing who's to say mobile revenue won't get at least partly invested back into developing console games?.I know they'll start with the big characters and rightly so but it'd be nice if some of the lesser known franchises get s chance on mobile,I mean the gameboy started with Tetris n super mario land but most of the early kirby games were on there and pokemon/fire emblem/animal crossing are still mainly handheld focused maybe some other characters can become the main "mobile focused" franchises in due time.

Re: Nintendo NX Will Be About Creating "Fun New Ways To Play"

While i hope we get some new ip for the new console Id also like to see nintendo try n revamp some of their past titles.Somethig like a 3d startropics where you explore tropical Islands in sunny HD or hogans alley reinvented as an open world prohibition era game.Sure it's unlikely but I think some different games like that mixed in with the big hitters (mario, zelda etc) could help attract folk who aren't necessarily interested enough in the big N's current offerings to buy hardware while still appealing to the loyal fanbase.
On a related note I reckon a touchscreen based version of flingsmash would be perfect for mobile its gameplay seems made for casual type play and it sold around 400k which isn't bad for an unestablished ip that recieved mixed/negative reviews, failing that Id happily take endless Mach rider.
