@khaosklub I read that article fully now. I think it's a shame that it only talks about first person shooters and casual/non-combat type of games when there are so many other genres out there.
I'm especially interested in what it would say about rpgs and strategy games like Fire Emblem and Xcom since I love those.

@khaosklub It's irrelevant because the stereotype doesn't get used in a scientific way in my experience, just in a "girls like fashion, men like guns" way.

Hold it. I actually find that insulting. If I decide to play a shooter it doesn't make me or any other girl who plays shooters "testosterone-fuelled" for doing it.
That stereotype really bothers me.

I thought the game selection would be a lost worse.
At least "Yoshi", "Puzzle and Dragons", "Rhythm Heaven" and definitely "great ace attorney" interest me. The other three things not so much.

The Wii U and 3DS ports were announced on april fool's day with a prank about them being heavily censored. The truth is that they are not censored at all, so nothing is cut.

Multiplayer is not very good for me because I'm not very social and struggle with social interaction and making friends, so it's very disappointing when games are made that focus on multiplayer as the main thing.

It's not the same series. Story of Seasons is the real Harvest Moon.

on a gamepad with default bindings, shoulder buttons are used for various things (use activatable item, place bomb, use consumable item, drop items)
I'm guessing they use the four shoulder buttons on the new 3ds but from what I've seen at least some of those things are also activatable on the touch screen display so it could have worked that way.
It could definitely be a reason though, I failed to consider it.

@Jenraux Not true. it only has four directional firing and you can use dual analogue for that but it feels terrible and using the buttons is much better (I also played on a keyboard for 100s of hours before getting a controller, and also the original game didn't even have controller support)

My post was actually more about 3ds than Wii U (I don't actually have a Wii U so I don't know.)
It applies to my Wii also though, which has a lot of content downloaded onto it.

Nintendo's way of doing it is terrible.
We need account systems which allow use of purchases at any logged in location.
As it is, you can lose everything if your system breaks.

Will it be called "PoPoLoCrois: Story of Seasons" outside of Japan?

They should definitely release it for virtual console, it's a waste for it to exist and not be distributed or playable to anyone!

I vote for sword because a lot of my favourite Castlevania characters had Swords ( Alucard, Soma, Shanoa)
It's interesting when there is a variety of different weapons though.

I loved playing with "Screen Warping" in the original version.
It was disappointing to discover it got fixed in the DX version.

It shows that they put a lot of thought into each design they release.

I don't have a wii u yet but the Mario Kart DLC looks great and the price is very good if you consider that the content of each dlc pack is a quarter of the main games content.

As for Smash Bros, I don't really like what they are doing with the costumes, they are relatively very overpriced.
I want to get lots of new characters for smash though (and the Ice Climbers)

Oh... I wanted them all but that might be too expensive...

I like Dixie Kong... I wonder if she has a chance... she was my favourite character in the Donkey Kong Country games...
I'm know if they would make two DK characters as DLC and everyone seems to be giving K Rool attention.
I'd be happy to see K Rool too, but both would be good.

I don't really want Super Meat Boy to get in, but I don't understand why a lot of commenters here are acting hostile about it =s

Layton is actually very skilled at fencing. Other than that they could make some puzzle related moves and hint coins could be used as some kind of move.

Well, I voted for Professor Layton.
From this list I think that Wolf will already be coming, and that if Ice Climbers are going to return it will happen regardless of the result of this vote.
Because of this, I'll choose Snake on this list because it seems like a realistic choice out of the remaining ones because I'm not sure that it will happen
I think Splatoon and Rayman have a chance of becoming fighters.

@Dezzy I've played for over 100 hours on pc using only keyboard ... analogue controls aren't a requirement at all. The original game didn't even have analogue as an option.

I've played this on both Steam and Android and personally rate it 9/10
From the trailer it looks like there are at least some new puzzles in this version (the flag puzzles for example were in neither the PC or Android release)
It also has some puzzles which were in the Steam release, but weren't available in the Android version.

@RupeeClock It does work kinda like that. You have to make the whole page one colour in as few moves as possible.

I played this on Android... and then again on Steam.
It's very simple but fun, I love it.
