@FragRed Some do, Babylon which was released in January had a Steelbook available around the time it opened in the Cinema.

@Williamfuchs420 I think they need to learn from where Marvel is right now and not overdo things. I think one movie every 18 months is fine. IMO, the next ones will be:-
Mario Movie 2
Mario Movie 3
Luigi's Mansion
Donkey Kong

Not in that order.

I think they need to consider Metroid and Zelda being with someone other than Illumination, personally I would like to see both of those being live action.

@Uncle_Franklin @Frailbay30 I was smiling all the way through and my children loved it. Would I have enjoyed it as much if I wasn't a Mario fan? probably not. But there are a LOT of Mario fans out there. The story is straightforward, but I don't think it diminishes the experience at all. If anything, you could argue it's a benefit, if this is suppose to the first in a series of movies, keeping things simple may help non Mario fans to understand some of the elements taken from the game.

Look at the Mummy movie with Tom Cruise, it was supposed to launch a franchise but it forgot to be entertaining and killed it off - this is wall to wall entertainment.

Just got back from watching it and it's fantastic!!! Well worth a trip to the cinema!

I just got back from watching it with my children and I thought it was fantastic. Really entertaining, the visuals are incredible, the sound track is epic (a mix of great tracks and instrumentals packed full of snippets from the games) - I'm really surprised Nintendolife gave it a 6/10, IMO it's way better than that.

Aiming to finish Metroid Prime Remastered today I have beaten Ridley and had one attempt at Metroid Prime - I love this game!!

I am aiming to start and finish one game per month this year, so far I have completed Neir Automata (Jan), Gunborg (feb) and March was supposed to be Metroid Prime but i'm slightly late! I'm thinking Sniper Elite V2 or Ori and the Blind Forest for April, not sure which yet!!

@Member_the_game I buy steelbook versions of my favourite movies, I will probably get this as I had a lot of childhood nostalgia for Mario, and the movie looks great!!

@Shadeon_Koopa is Raji: An Ancient Epic any good? There was a big update last year, wasn't there?

@Zuljaras would you recommend Cuphead? It's been on my wish list for ages, wasn't sure about the level of difficulty vs frustration.

@eltomo would you recommend Okami? I'm not sure it's a game i'd like but a friend says it's great

Metroid Prime Remastered for me, it is fantastic. I just got the power bomb and the grapple. The section up to getting the power bomb was the hardest part of the game so far? I died a few times. Some games really frustrate me if you die multiple times doing the same thing, but I haven't had this with Metroid Prime.

@yacsama Yeah, I thought Tiny Thor looked the best these, it would be great to get a physical release.

@burgerkingsauce That's a great idea!! I plan to do that as well as the same for Metroid and Zelda (including 3D) - NSO is great for this type of thing.

@tgt Ori, Ape Out and XCOM 2 are on my backlog too. Hades is great!!!

Metroid Prime remaster for me!! Just got to the boss where you get the Wave Beam, but i'm struggling to beat them with 2 energy tanks, so i'm going to double back and look for some more before trying again.

It would be interesting to see the digital numbers for Japan. I imagine they might be a higher percentage digital than many other countries?

What would everyone want from COD on Switch (current gen)? Would you be happy with a collection of single player campaigns? Online multiplayer but Switch players only so you're up against players on more powerful systems?

I started it last night and it's fantastic, I have the missile launcher. The graphics are as good as I hoped!!

I'm disappointed that Steamworld Dig 2 will drop out of the top 50 at some point soon...such a great game!

Gunborg. I've been on it for a few weeks but i've been so busy i've only been able to grab 15 minutes or so here of there.

I wonder of it will be shown in 3D? I saw a 3D trailer for it before Avatar.

That was a tough question! For me it was between the Gamecube and Switch. I went for the Gamecube.

BOTW and Odyssey are possibly the two best Nintendo games from any platform, but I think the depth of good games is better on the Gamecube.

Exclusive edition means a release elsewhere, right? I wonder if they will be a general release or another boutique version.

@the_beaver I was about to post the same thing! It's slightly worse though, as it's on the list three times in the top 4 spots!

I'm trying to start and finish one game per month, this month I picked Gunborg, which is a shorter game but I have a busy month! I'm 9 levels in on easy (out of 15 I think) and it's great! Level design, graphics and music are all fantastic! The controls take a bit to get used to though.

I thought this looked excellent, looks like they have put a lot of work into it. Can't wait to see the reviews and if Digital Foundry do an analysis.

@Sisilly_G Maybe, but I think there are other things you could do, maybe Mario + DK vs Bowser or a platformer where you do levels as both characters but they play very differently with their skill sets etc.

@Johnny44 @Mauzuri my theory is the rumoured Donkey Kong game and the rumoured Mario game are the same game! Imagine a game where you can play as Mario or Donkey Kong...lots of possibilities!!

@mariomaster96 In a way i'm hoping we don't see much of Tears of the Kingdom, we know it's coming in May, if it had its own presentation in a month that would mean we get 40 minutes of other games...

Will the development of Dead Cells go on forever?!?! I have held back on buying this game as I decided to wait for them to finish adding to it...Maybe they should take their remaining ideas and start on Dead Cells 2?

I don't want to sound critical BTW, it's great that they continue to support their game, more studios should do the same.

I'm 45 hours into Nier Automata, I have three of the main endings. @EaglyTheKawaiiShika said on the forum that the last two main endings should only take another 2 hours so i'll probably do that. I'm trying to start and complete one game per month this year, next month will be a much shorter one!!

@KateGray would you recommend Dome Keeper? If it comes out on the Switch i'll give it a look.

This looks excellent, my only worry is how it controls on the Switch (or any console), I will almost certainly be buying this!

If it was exactly the same I would be fine with that. If itnwas to change I think it should only be very minor, maybe weapons last 10% longer or something

I didn't answer the second question as any of the options listed would be an interesting change.

@BlackMayge what is considered beating Nier Automata? I saw the credits for the first time last night. One website I saw said there are three main play throughs but there are 20+ endings for the completionists...Another site said 4 or 5 playthroughs?

I've been playing Neir Automata since the beginning of the month. I finished the first play through last night and started on the second. It's one of the best games on the Switch!

@Friendly Have you enjoyed Eastward? Is it a long game?

I just want Steamworld Dig 3! If you consider the ending of 2 and the artwork in the final credits, a 2rd game could be set in space across multiple planets and asteroids etc. I think that would open the game up to new mechanics whilst keeping the core elements from the first two games.

@1UP_MARIO how does Sparks of Hope compare to the first game?

I'm playing Neir Automata at the moment, hoping to complete it by the end of the month.
