More bullcrap rumors as usual. Final Fantasy XV is coming out in November and the FFVII Remake is currently only announced for PS4 but will probably be on PC as well. It is not coming to Xbox One. Nintendo consoles do not get Final Fantasy games. The last one to appear on a Nintendo console was VI in 1996.

@Mega_Yarn_Poochy It has Pokemon in it. That alone should guarantee much higher sales and drive interest in the Wii U.

It's very obvious that these characters are exclusive to the arcade version. The Wii U version just did not sell enough to justify DLC.

It's only entering pre production now so I'm not expecting it for another three years. I think people need to accept that it's not coming to the NX. At E3 Ubisoft made it very clear that they will not be supporting the system. None of their major titles were announced for the system.

@Lady_rosalina Ubisoft has made it very clear that they are not supporting the system. Pretending otherwise is wrong and is just going to set people up for disappointment. If Ubisoft were supporting the system then they would have announced games for it at E3. Instead they only announced Just Dance. It's time to face reality. Third parties aren't coming back.

It's has a 0% chance of being on the NX. Ubisoft has made it very clear that they have no intention on supporting the system and even if they do, they're not going to make exclusives. We saw how bad third party exclusives like Zombi, Bayonetta 2, and The Wonderful 101 flopped. No one is going to make that same mistake again.

If the game is ever released, it's not going to be an NX exclusive. Pretending otherwise is just plain dumb. There's a 0% chance of that happening. The first game flopped. Ubisoft will want this one to sell.

It already has one. It's called Rare Replay. Games run in full 1080p and widescreen compared to native resolution and 4:3 on the Virtual Console.

There won't be a new Star Fox game for at least the next five years. Zero has put the series on an indefinite hiatus. The series could be successful if Nintendo took a look at Mass Effect and Ratchet & Clank.

Nintendo must either compete with Sony and Microsoft or they can get out of the console business. As it stands they're dead last right now. In order for the NX to be a success it has to sell at least 20 million units within the first six months or it will stand no chance at catching up to the Xbox One. If Nintendo refuses to compete then third parties won't port their games and Nintendo will be back to the same situation they were in with the Wii U.

At this point Nintendo no longer owns the NES. Every single patent has long since expired. They only have the trademark on the name. Rare Replay had an N64 emulator. The PS4 has SNES emulation. It's 100% legal to make an emulator, sell it, and profit off of it.

Microsoft has every legal right to allow it. Rare Replay emulates the N64. All the patents on the NES have long since expired. Nintendo only owns the trademark.

Nintendo should not need assistance developing a 3DS game. There's got to be more to it than that.

Nintendo's obsession with 2d side scrolling games is ridiculous. It's long past time to move on from 2D.

It'd be nice if they announced Mario Kart 7 DLC. It's just pathetic how they abandoned that game. There was no reason why they couldn't have patched dlc compatibility in. People would have bought DLC.

It'd be great if Nintendo would give us gold coins for previous purchases. I bought several games digitally and I think I deserve my coins.

It amazes me how Reggie can continually lie to everyone and still keep his job.

Unless this gets confirmed for a Western release then I will continue not caring.

@AlphaJaguar Nintendo only owns 32% of the Pokemon Company. Game Freak and Creatures own the rest.

People should just stop pretending that third party support is going to happen. So far no third party is willing to support the system. Regardless of the quality of EA's games, their games are big sellers and Nintendo needs them.

@CCore28 It's almost certainly a baby Pokemon or something like that. It has a simple design because of that.

Nintendo was in the wrong here. They need to respect fan works and need to cooperate with fans like so many other companies do. I can only imagine what their response would be to PC mods if they were making games for PC.

Boring. Not only is this game an MMO but it's Japan only. The NX needs to western third party support. Japan isn't relevant anymore.

We don't want casual trash. Beyond Good and Evil 2 would not be acceptable either. Third party titles should never be exclusive, especially on inferior hardware. E3 made it very that third parties are not supporting the NX.

Well they didn't support the Wii U so I don't think anybody really cares how enthusiastic they are. Enthusiasm isn't good enough. At least Ubisoft tried to support the system.

Why are there non Nintendo consoles being added to the Virtual Console?

If it were coming to the NX it would have been announced for it. Devs are free to announce games for the system. Ubisoft announced Just Dance for the system. People just need to accept that third parties are not coming back to Nintendo consoles.

I've got a huge stockpile of Platinum coins since Nintendo refuses to hand out gold coins for previous digital purchases. Looks like I'll still be keeping them until Nintendo finally starts offering stuff I'd want redeem them on or games that I don't already own.

Kids are mostly playing Call of Duty these days. Nintendo is hardly going to interest them.

I don't know why people are defending censorship. It is not acceptable. Censorship should not be tolerated in any form. No other developer treats their customers like children. I don't know why Nintendo can't make the censorship optional like everyone else does. You can turn off blood in many games so Nintendo should take that approach.

This will happen to Splatoon in a year or two.

They should have remastered this. This game is legendary and deserves that treatment.

Why are reviews ignoring the massive censorship? You can't write a review about a game and ignore the fact that it's heavily censored.

@Achoo Dreamcast was the weakest system of the generation and the Xbox was significantly more powerful then the GameCube.

@AcridSkull Based on common knowledge. Nintendo has little chance of succeeding with the NX. Sony has already sold over 40 million PS4's and Microsoft has sold somewhere around 20 million Xbox One's. Now with Project Scorpio announced for release next year, the NX has no chance at outselling the Xbox family.

It was a very poor E3 from Nintendo. Zelda was not that impressive. Many of these features that are new to Zelda have been in other games for years. That's not going to impress me.

No NX release for Ghost Recon. It doesn't look likely that any major Ubisoft titles will get ports.

Yeah, Zelda feels obsolete in an era of Uncharted, The Witcher, Dark Souls, Shadow of Mordor, etc. Nintendo needs to make something that can rival the competition and prove why we should care about Zelda.

If only Nintendo had some sort of online shop where you could download demos.....

The eshop is grossly outdated and needs significant improvements for the NX. Pricing is one of the biggest issues not just with the eshop but Nintendo overall. All first party titles need to drop in price as time goes on.

On the subject of the virtual console, that also needs improvements. The games are horribly overpriced and lack any of the basic features found in free emulators or the emulators designed by Rare for their collection.

The virtual console needs to include all basic graphics settings like resolution, shaders, anti-aliasing, widescreen, etc.

Why does Nintendo need a budget range? Why can't they just lower the price on their games like everyone else?

The eshop is awful. Games are vastly overpriced, there's no account system, and the interface on 3DS is borderline unuseable.

At this point they should just port it to the NX and scrap the Wii U version. It's silly to waste time making a game for the Wii U when the system is on its death bed and when its successor is coming out in the spring.
