Re: Super Mario Maker 2 Nintendo Direct Airing Tomorrow, 15th May

Lalivero

Not interested in this game tbh since making 2D leveled platforming games ain't exactly my thing, but I guess it means more spotlight for stuff like Animal Crossing and LM3, etc at e3, so that's okay by me.

I may take a peek when I get off work tomorrow to at least see what is shown though.

Definitely snagging BoxBoy + Boxgirl! I'll probably grab Picross S3 eventually when I get S2...

For some reason Homo Machina and maybe Vandals both have my interest, too, and should be easy enough buys due to their low prices. O: Ha.

Damn, didn't expect a few things to grab my attention this week, considering I have Lone Wolf to finish atm, and I'm getting though Mortal Kombat... x.o Ouch, haha.

@Retupmocnin It helps cut down on resources in-between new ones, so I'm okay with it, but honestly I'd rather these out of nowhere than last gen ports sold at full retail. At least it's a neat lil surprise(as long as they keep it fairly priced); stuff like MK8 Deluxe, as well as it sold, don't interest me.

This game looks adorbs af as of now.

Re: Random: Tell Us Who You Love In This Official Pokémon Poll For Valentine's Day

Aww ...not as much love for the guys it seems.

@ThatNyteDaez Out of the guys list, I gotta agree with you on Volkner. I've never really been too drawn to blonde guys, but he does have a cute design I'll admit and he seems like he could be chill around someone who can kick him into gear. N is also a good choice, mainly because I love his character.

As far as the ladies go, neither of my main interests(Olivia and Winona) are on there, so Erika def gets my vote. She's adorbs.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 19th)

I'm making good progress in Phantasy Star atm and I may have a shot at getting to Gunman Clive HD since we got more snow apparently coming so idk how that's gonna affect my time... x_o

@TheFanatic Happy bday; hope you get enjoyment out of the cash you got for it. ^^

@Prof_Yoshtonics Ys VIII was good stuff! As I put in another post, it got me randomly into the series and I got through Ys I and II Chronicles recently on PSP.

Re: Dead Cells Sold More Than 100,000 Copies In Its First Week On Nintendo Switch

Lalivero

@JaxonH Idk what it is, but Monster Hunter has never fully clicked with me, but I'll keep an eye out for DD once I break into the others you say it's a mashup of(not to say I couldn't get it sooner).

I'm a big rpg fan though, yeah. It's why I'm awaiting Camelot to continue Golden Sun and why Octopath was an insta-buy. I may borrow a copy of Tales of V though... friend and I have both been talking since its announcement, but I'm tryna stay away from them atm. 😂😂

Any more recent puzzle games you recommend(if you're into those) though? Love them, but I think the last ones to really grab me were Puyo Puyo Tetris and Picross S(I still have yet to get S2), though I pick up the odd lil one like The Bridge. I think I have some others sitting on my wish list.

Yet another success story; music to my ears really. ^^ I've been on the fence.

@JaxonH Gotta raise my hand in the 'go out of their comfort zones' dept. I've always liked indies, quirky/niche titles, and sports games(hope Wwe 2k20 is a comeback!), but I kinda jumped off the plane of home consoles after GameCube and stayed mostly portable until Switch(got a Wii U near launch, but eek... I guess it did get me into Darksiders ). It's nature of being a true hybrid just works, and 3rd parties actually jumping on board again naturally has made me dip my toes into those and other series I've overlooked.

I got Doom(which led me to grab Wolfenstein 2; Doom Eternal is a lock), Ys Viii(I even just finished Ys I and II Chronicles on a friend's PSP...hell, said friend borrowed my copy of Ys Viii and he ended up getting his own), LA Noire(c'mon Rockstar), Diablo 3 Ultimate(friend got me into this; Walmart BF price screwup helped, too 😂😂), etc. Not including the fact that I still plan to grab Skyrim and Dark Souls at some point, and Mortal Kombat 11(welcome back) is damn sure on radar, to name a few others.

🗣️🗣️🗣️ Blah blah blah

Re: Video: Nintendo Really Wants You To Buy The Wireless NES Controllers For Switch

Lalivero

@Triforce79 It's not like test driving a car where you -have- to get a feel for yourself with it to know what it's like; It's a waste of $20 and here' are some personal reasons why:

I hardly game online

The infrastructure still mostly sucks from what I've seen(just couldn't complain as much before because it was free...but to pay for that? No thanks); heck, just look at all the Smash complaints.

They killed Club Nintendo for the trash that is My Nintendo, so can't even trust the 'special offers'...these whack, expensive controllers aren't a good first impression. 🤔

AND A BIG ONE...

Idc about NES games on their own(that we keep getting over and over and over again, with nothing else until it's too late); not to mention this half-assed trickle is a big frickin' joke.

They had -more- than enough time to have something suitable as a replacement. Ya know...at least build on the previous library we had. This was their chance to surprise us after taking away the VC, and they do the opposite.

Need I go on?
