Re: PokΓ©mon Sword And Shield Are Leaking Like A Sieve, Be Safe Out There

Lalivero

@NIN10DOXD The only one I've confirmed up til now is an obvious one. The other ones, based on what we knew, I figured weren't coming, so you're probably right. :/

I've only taken a peak at -how many- pokΓ©s are s'posedly in the Galar dex and dk how many are in the National, so I guess there's a sliver of hope, but I ain't holding my breath. It's a shame too because there's onlyyy a select few I was definitely hoping made the cut.

Re: Feature: Best Nintendo Switch Action-RPGs

Lalivero

I finally got a hold of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 recently and, while the story isn't -horrible-, the gameplay has been pretty fun meddling around with the powers of some of my favorite heroes so I'm enjoying it. If anything, the AI of my comrades is the annoying part. xD πŸ™„ I guess that's a gripe with most games like it to a degree though.

Ys Viii though...that game is 😘😘😘. One of my favorites on Switch, and RPGs in general.

Re: UK Charts: Zelda: Link's Awakening Drops To Second As FIFA 20 Shoots and Scores

Lalivero

@jarvismp It, unfortunately, does seem like that typical setup to have reason to say 'see? It doesn't sell' when -they- are the ones ensuring that by releasing shady bs. To think it seemed hopeful after the system got momentum...

I mean just look at TT w/Wwe games. They released a pos with Wwe 2k18(which they quickly abandoned after it was already late and they likely could've at least fixed; had promise) and we haven't seen '19 or now '20. :/

Haven't looked at Nba '20 yet but it looks like all we have left rn so I hope at least that sticks around.

Re: Five-Day Smash Bros. Ultimate Event Adds Four New Daemon X Machina Spirits

Lalivero

The game to me seems like a hidden little gem made with love, so glad Smash is putting some spotlight on it at what seems to be a iffy release time. It doesn't deserve to be buried.

@Kainbrightside I second the idea that it would be nice if it became a new Nintendo IP.

@NintendoWiiDS I agree with you in that I hope it does well in the end. They really did seem to take fan feedback into consideration because the last demo before release was a big improvement. It's one of the few utr third party releases that I had an eye on for a while and actually got on launch. I can understand pricing concern though(even just $10 less would've gotten more eyes on it I feel), especially for an unknown title.

Ultimately, games like this are ones I hope become their own thing.

Re: Sorry, But There's No Hidden Workaround To Connect Your Switch Lite To A TV

Lalivero

Well they've lost a sale here because I really was considering one until I found this out; I will not be wasting my money on what seems to be a mess of a 'new' console right now. And seems people forget that we had a New 3DS and New 3DS XL which were the same system iirc except the size, unless they just figured that business strategy won't work going forward... then I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

@KIRO Exactly. This would've been an ideal Switch, but, like you say, nothing can be perfect I s'pose.

Re: Poll: Nintendo Switch Lite Is Out Today, Are You Getting One?

Lalivero

@tvoltz90 That's the thing. I play mostly handheld but not even having the option to dock totally kills my interest in the Lite. If not for the fugly color choices and waiting out to see if they fixed the joy con drift issue, that is basically what makes it a heck no.

@Roronoa11 Good grief I miss Streetpass dearly. 😰

Re: Hardware Classics: Nintendo GameCube

Lalivero

GC will always hold a special place in my heart as it was the first home console I had all to myself(I played N64, Ps1, etc through my cousins or brother). Only had a Gameboy before then.

Re: Guide: Which Switch Games Are Not Compatible With Nintendo Switch Lite?

Lalivero

It's funny because while I use my Switch like 98% of the time, the Switch lite doesn't interest me at all.

I guess I still like having the option for TV out, and I rarely ever keep multiple iterations of a console/handheld.

... and has anything been confirmed about the joy con drift issue? It's early but you'd think a fix would've been in the works since that's been known about for a zillion yrs now. If not, that's a HUGE con because now you'd be forced to send the whole dang system in instead of just using a dif controller. I wouldn't even consider thinking of nabbing one otherwise.

Re: Review: Daemon X Machina - Solid Mech Mayhem That Gets A Tad Repetitive

Lalivero

Can't wait to grab this in a couple days. Knew what I was getting into and this has been one of my most anticipated releases for a while so not really letting reviews stop me since they seem fair. Have enjoyed what I've played. ^_^

Not sure on Link's Awakening just yet, so this'll keep me occupied for a bit til Dragon Quest comes out, along with a few other indies I'm tidying up on.

Re: Review: Spyro Reignited Trilogy - A Blast From The Past That's Still Got Wings

Lalivero

I was really interested in grabbing this, but why the heck should I waste my money on these half-assed cartridges(basically a fake physical release)? At this point, I would have commended them if they just went ahead and made the trilogy download only.

This is why I will more than likely consider purchasing The Witcher III, because CPR is putting in the effort of having it all together.

Re: Review: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order - Arcade Brawling Is Back, Baby

Lalivero

I think I'm still going to be able to get this pretty soon as it floated on and off my radar, ha.

@Angelic_Lapras_King @Kalmaro @TempOr And it still hasn't reached everywhere with the re-release yet iirc, so it should keep some kinda pace going for a bit still. IW didn't totally leave theaters til like early fall, right? It's only a little over $5m right now to go and Endgame HAS already beaten Avatar in regards to its (unadjusted?) original theatrical run record mind you. πŸ‘€

Re: Review: Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator - A Heartwarming And Likeable Visual Novel

Lalivero

@ThanosReXXX Not to drag on what was probably dropped by now but, coming from someone that is keeping an eye on this game, I don't see anything wrong with what you've posted in regards to it.

@Aslanmagic Ohhh nah. Don't even get anyone started, lls. I found out from Serebii that Umbreon is in the game, so idgaf really at this point(well...I need to recheck to see if maybe Mienshao is confirmed πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ).

@KJW90 Yessssss. /realtalk xD

Re: Review: Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator - A Heartwarming And Likeable Visual Novel

Lalivero

I think I'm finna just get this because it's caught my eye and I'm glad it all around seems like it'd be enjoyable based on others' comments, too.

@yuwarite @dux Hey, I've always thought calling someone 'daddy' in that sense felt a bit off, too. Idc how good looking you/they are.

Just playing in the sense of dating dads(if not for them being actual dads, I just see it as a reference to older males frfr) is totalllly different. πŸ˜…

Re: Dream Daddy Arrives On The Switch eShop At The Start Of Next Month

Lalivero

@gcunit Nah, it won't make you gay... though it couldddd confirm something depending on what you enjoy out of it, yeah. Hey, you could just enjoy the humor involved in it. There are the odd gay guys that buy Senran because they are amused by the jiggly mechanics or whatever.

Your first question reminds me of this valid meme I've seen where the question basically is 'so guys are expected to play with hunky men action figures and that means you are straight yet guys who play with 'pretty girls'(dolls) are gay? πŸ€”'

@Anti-Matter Six-packs need to just go away. They ain't attractive, my friend. πŸ‘ŒπŸΎ

@YourLastSurprise Well...about that...

Re: Feature: Dormant Nintendo Franchises We'd Like To See Return On Switch

Lalivero

@LavaTwilight Well I mean it says franchises, so pretty much you may as well say it is, but I get your point.

They could revive it like they did Kid Icarus after a billion years though. It's a dang shame that we get a million ports and remakes(especially from literally the last Ninty gen) when they have so many games they could make modern iterations for, smh.

Re: Super Mario Maker 2 Nintendo Direct Airing Tomorrow, 15th May

Lalivero

Not interested in this game tbh since making 2D leveled platforming games ain't exactly my thing, but I guess it means more spotlight for stuff like Animal Crossing and LM3, etc at e3, so that's okay by me.

I may take a peek when I get off work tomorrow to at least see what is shown though.
