@burninmylight In my opinion, yes it is best in Handheld Mode. It's basically a better version of the mobile port. So to your question of what is the point? The graphics are much crisper. I was recently emulating the DS version (I own it, but got it in my head I wanted to play it via Drastic on my phone) and when I popped the Switch version back in I was surprised I had forgotten how nice it looks. It also has an awesome soundtrack. Tall order, as the game already had one of the best. And there's the extra scenario. Content -wise, it is hard to argue that better graphics, better OST, and bonus chapters are in any way NEGATIVES, right? As to controls, I think it is overblown a little. The docked controls are indeed trash. I've only used them so my son could play co-op with me. However, handheld is just like controlling Neku on the DS. The partner pin, mileage will vary how well you like that. But I will say that while I hit a rhythm with the DS version for controlling the too screen, it was never super intuitive for me. More something I adapted to and got decent at. Neku was my primary focus. He is who you control completely, who's skills you level and swap around, etc. The partner was always stationary while you tried to combo with them, and if you lost focus the AI would take over anyway! So Neku's combat is 100% intact here, and to me that was the meat and potatoes of the game to begin with.
And still nope. I'm sure someone is loving the "constantly sells out" aspect, but I soured on this stress ago. It seems to be a bit periodic problem with nintendo products. I don't understand why you can't order this. Most times amazon doesn't have stock, I can still place an order for when it comes in. But the main retailers all list unavailable for new, and Amazon is at the mercy of the scalpers. Considering there's a digital option in japan, I assume the situation is as desired got western sellers.
So I've actually played the first Nexomon (it's on mobile and Steam), and it's spiritual predecessor Micromon (iOS exclusive). And actually liked them. Are they derivative? Sure. But I don't recall people losing their minds over Ocean Horn, or Axiom Verge, or just about any mascot kart racer.
When Mario+ Rabbids came out, the fact that it blatantly just lifted X-Com's combat was met with UNIVERSAL acclaim. I could sit here all day rattling off "spiritual successors" and "inspired by" games, and prominent games that self identify as a "clone" or a "-like." To me, as long as the gameplay is solid, that's what matters.
And to be fair.. I don't know what this game will cost. But Nexomon is like a buck on mobile, and $10 on Steam. Pokemon Sw/Sh with expansion pass wants more like $100... And twice that if you want to "catch em all."
@turntSNACO I'm torn because I wanted this on Switch for portability since I heard of it. However, it's on Xbox and Windows Game Pass, and I backed the GPD Win Max last month. So in the next month or two I'll have a portable Windows device and can play the Game Pass version.
SO this game launched on Game Pass, which stopped me from buying it on Switch for the moment. And it’s really sad that we have to celebrate almost seamless co-op setup in 2020. Because it is true, we have lower expectations of Nintendo in this arena. Not only is this better still on the Xbox (just about every feature I see in this thread to improve the experience has been part of the Xbox online experience since the 360), but it’s so common and old a setup that it is the minimum expectation. You would NEVER see an article pop up glorifying an Xbox or PS4 beat em up just for having intuitive multiplayer invites. You’d likely only see one if they were LACKING in this area. Voice is another area. This thread has mentions of how we need the app to talk to anyone, or use Internet forums. Meanwhile on Xbox I joined one lobby and heard a guy talking on game chat through my tv. Thought “oh I should throw on my headset,” and we were a lemon to have fun coordinating and joking as we played without having to commit to adding to friends lists or using extra hardware. And of course if you don’t want that, you can disable game chat channels, so everyone is catered to.
And yes it still irks me that they serve as a wall. Maybe it’s the arcade kid in me, with some memorable experiences and a few friendships forged with people you didn’t know competing with you. I run a clan (for Destiny 2) and it’s a mix of close friends and family, and some long term online friends I made between late night Left 4 Dead matches like a decade ago or raid LFGs in the first Destiny. And years spent playing online Nintendo games, I literally know absolutely no one I’ve every played with outside of local friends. If you want to find people, Nintendo believes the safe and kid friendly thing to do (despite many of us being adults and the system sporting parental controls) is force us to reddit or discord lol
@MrDannyB thankful someone said it. I love Nintendo and their products. Also own a Gamevice for my last phone. All decent products. And I can't personally forget that Nintendo are the first ones to call the legal team when they get a whiff of something that don't like. Or claim the rights to the revenue on a YouTube channel if it so much as uses a clip from one of their games.
@Damo No no, I'm pretty sure they meant Nintendo's online service. Double Dragon, DD II, and River City Ransom are on there. Super Dodgeball is on the SNES Online catalogue.
@Phostachio I guess I just have an optimistic take on it. I see it as an element of the PC market (tablets were originally called "tablet PCs" after all). You're right that the market is saturated with f2p gacha nonsense. But I have a Note 9 and can't deny I have over a hundred GB of space used up on mobile games I consider to be quality. It takes a little trial and error to curate, but there's a lot of quality to find.
Isn't...isn't this the third entry? Are we really going to pretend End Layer didn't exist now? I actually liked it, is this the minority opinion?
@Phostachio it depends. I probably play Stardew more on mobile than elsewhere and I consider FTL on iPad definitive. Also love Wesnoth on iPad, and it feels like a janky mess on my laptop. I've been playing Another Eden lately, which has some big Chrono names behind it. There's good in this space, but it depends on the aims of the dev team. If they just toss out some puzzle rpg or hero collecting auto battler aimed to farm your wallet via licensed property name recognition, that's no good. But even as a port machine, I've been playing a lot of SotN, Kotor, and Valkyrie Profile on my long night shifts via my Note phone
@Kalmaro I can understand that. I played on Note 8 and didn't play much, while I was engrossed in iPad. It probably just enjoys the larger screen. It was an iPad Mini, so I'm hopeful this Switch port looks fine in handheld.
@TheAwesomeBowser they aren't gone. Heck, I thought this case was decided last October lol
@RPGamer I wouldn't call the wikipad a bootleg. Assuming that is what you mean. They targeted that thing for 2011 (a year before the Wii U launched) but it was delayed until 2013. And all it was, was an Android tablet with controls built in. A popular concept, which we saw Sony itself at with by developing the old Xperia Play phone. These days GPD's various devices do this, while actually cribbing Nintendo's clamshell design (though they also have a Windows based series and claim they target a small laptop aesthetic). My point is "Android tablet + controls" isn't a bootleg concept, and they were working on it before Wii U came to market.
Past that, the Gamevice line is just a controller. Telescopic controllers are very popular in the mobile space. And if anything, Sony would be the ones to have a complaint. I distinctly recall, when it was in development hell for a couple years, people saying "oh cool, you can turn your phone into a PSP!" Nintendo turning their consoles into handhelds doesn't change that telescopic-style handhelds existed already. You can find all kinds of these controllers, like the iPega Red Knight. Heck my first one came from an old player in the mobile controller soace- Moga put out a similar controller which I use with my old iPod Touch. Gamevice is actually really cool in that it connects directly to your phone. It doesn't pair over Bluetooth, so it saves battery and lowers latency. And it has more reliable pass-through charging. So it has some legit benefits on the market, and I assume they have a patent because most of their competitors (who followed them in this design for the mobile space) use Bluetooth connectivity. Moga is the only one I've seen do similar, and they don't sell that model anymore last I checked. They seem to just sell something more or less competing with 8bitdo.
Don't get me wrong- this lawsuit was ridiculous. I'm just saying Gamevice has a niche they've carved in a market that needed it, and it wasn't a rip off of Nintendo.
@Stu13 @Capt_N same. I still have my Wii U in service. Xenoblade Chronicles X is one reason. There were some ports I loved on there too, like Deus Ex HR. And the virtual console. I also picked up Mass Effect 3 for peanuts last year and found a surprisingly active community on the multiplayer.
In my opinion, this is a solid game..in context. When it came out on iOS, I was fairly impressed. It is, however, a harder sell on the Switch, with Pillars of Eternity (and the sequel due soon), the Beamdog Infinity Engine games, and Divinity Original Sin II. It is priced appropriately for its scope and run time, however.
@NEStalgia when you start, if you were sedentary beforehand, you can see a rapid change. Especially if you had any circulation issues and were carrying water weight. I've experienced that first hand. It levels off.
@Investor9872 you must be super confused when Clark Kent takes off his glasses.
He removed his glasses and got a hair cut and you make it sound like he's running an op in Mission Impossible. And there's no proof of any nose job. Some people when they put on weight get puffy in the face, and it can flare your nose too. It happened to me. I've lost twenty lbs over the last few months, and one of the catalyst was a coworker telling me how my face looked "swollen." And a small portion of the fat lost came from the sides of my nose. I'm standing in the bathroom right now and if I tilt my head a little it alters the profile.
But you guys keep feeling like you've cracked an episode of unsolved mysteries because this guy got a hair cut. Seriously, the guy has a public Facebook, and he clearly changes his hair and color often.
The way companies are allowed to divide up areas and throttle connection speeds in the US, not soon in my opinion. Not as the only way. There are evenings I can't get my laptop to connect to my PS4 via Remote Play. Imagine if streaming was the only option.
I always feel like these are odd releases for Switch. They just work so well on mobile, given the style of the games, that they seem like odd choices for console. I understand devs trying to increase exposure. And there may be a market appeal for gamers wanting a "premium" package (though often free mobile games sold on console don't do a great job justifying).
I like their answer to the legal question. I've been trying to explain that to people for over a year (new people keep finding the thread) about Micromon on mobile.
@PBandSmelly I agree with the person who said disappointed is fair. Let me put it this way- be careful about equating one's self with the lowest common denominator. By that I mean there has been a lot of outright whining about this. Facebook groups had people on massive tangents. Reddit was even worse. And don't get me started on the YouTubers who know angry clicks = views and revenue. If you have rational criticism that doesn't mean you are a whiner. It also doesn't mean those people don't exist and didn't make a VERY visible stink. Someone commenting on that nonsense isn't necessarily saying anyone who dislikes the state of the Pokedex is a man-child.
1. Even if that's accurate, that just makes my point about blaming ArcSys and Bamco over this.
2. That said, the way I heard it is Tammy Denbow opened the investigation. She's the Employee Relations Exec Director at Sony. Also, regardless of which company whoever gave him the papers worked for, Sony sets the conduct policy. It's noticably stricter than Funimations own policies were prior to acquisition. The jellybean thing, for example, wouldn't have gotten anyone in trouble in ten years ago. Sony cancelled a whole Spiderman franchise + spinoffs because Andrew Garfield missed an event and had a mild attitude about it lol. So yea, they had a hand in this once things turned publically unfavorable.
Have to live all the people acting like they've been in the fence about this 2 yr old game (a year if going by the Switch port only), but this dlc announcement is what they've been waiting for. Or trying to punish ArcSys and Bamco because FUNi's parent company (Sony) cut ties with someone over a year ago.
Doesn't the fact that Vic is credited for the classic DBZ Broly in the game show this isn't some bias from the devs? They needed someone to record the battle shouts.
I'm still in. Out of any collection game I've ever played, Pokemon has been head and shoulders above the competition in generosity of transfers. Like, it's not even close. Dragon Quest Monsters, Shin Megami Tensei and Persona games, Digimon, card games like Yu-Gi-Oh, and others. You'd maybe see some direct sequel bonuses or transfers from a prior game, or a passcode system of some kind. You may have a New Game + mode where you can keep data in the same game on new save files. But there's no way you're using the same monster in these franchises you collected or levelled in the early 2000's. So I feel like I can give Game Freak a little leeway to at least see how this shakes out and if it remains engaging. And maybe this is a matter of perspective. I know the "new gen" has some shine to it. But my glasses aren't tinted by this "first console" thing, after logging dozens of hours on Coloseum, Gale of Darkness, and Let's Go. Yes, side games, but still full Pokemon RPGs on console. Just my perspective, any way.
Some of these comments. I may sound insensitive, but that too comment about holding your Squirtle hostage. How are we transferring currently? How are we getting gen 1 Pokemon (be they FR/LG or virtual console) without paying into Bank? The answer is we aren't, so there's no need for a comment like that. I'm disapointed at the exclusion of some of my favorites too, but the sheer existence of an expanded replacement for Home isn't the enemy here. Bank was never going to be able to connect to Go or the Switch games because... It's a 3DS app. And if you aren't jumping into the new service, you need Bank to transfer to Home anyway (from 3DS), so Bank has to stay live for now. Your Squirtle will be fine.
I dunno, I just feel like when people are talking about leaving gaming as a hobby for good, and the catalyst is a game "only" having 4-500 monsters, we've got some out of proportion responses here.
@SepticLemon yep, these are the mobile versions ported. Kind of took the wind out of my sales. I may get that import release just for collection reasons, but you can snag these for about $10 a pop on your phone. And 4-6 for $15 each, and 8 for $20. 8 isn't definitive, the DS porta arguably are superior to their original releases. 1 and 2 are fine, but 3 is an odd duck. It clearly uses assets from the SFC remake, but lacks any of the battle animations. Which really give the fights some energy and personality. Heck, even the GBC version had them (at the expense of background images in battle).
This game isn't horrible. It plays pretty smooth, and you can see a lot of ideas that get further extrapolated on in the 3rd game. The reason people disliked it is that it was a departure from the first, losing the adventure elements (not as big an issue now, as now the first game stands out as the odd duck there) and the story was straight trash.
@westman98 My local GameStop still has a copy of Pokemon Battle Revolution on shelf for $60. Well it did last time I was there (it's been awhile), but that copy sat there for years lol.
I will say, having played a ton of haha just like it, one thing FE Heroes does well is just not "feeling" abusive. They don't BOMBARD you to the point of fatigue with events and the difficulty curve doesn't crank from 2 to 25 on a 10 point scale the way most Hero Collector/gacha games do. The daily/weekly grind rotation is fairly manageable, and the drop rates aren't utterly atrocious. I have multiple teams of strong units made of a pool of popular main characters, and most similar games I struggle to keep one team "competitive" and upgraded as a f2p or light p2p player. God, I still die on the inside when I think of how much I sank into Avangers Academy (not strictly the same genre, but it was a collector with strategy combat mechanics) and what I got from it was a ton of near misses on event characters and ultimately the game shut down as Marvel apparently doesn't renew mobile licenses. FE Heroes doesn't take me over the coals and likely isn't going anywhere for awhile, so I don't mind occasionally kicking them a few bucks when I'm playing it more heavily. I actually keep meaning to jump back, with Three Houses out. I'd replaced it with Langrisser for the bulk of the year.
@NotTelevision this was a pleasant surprise for me. I've had the sequel on pre order for awhile now for Switch, and lamented no save transfer from the first. Not a problem now.
@Kalmaro if you scroll Gene's feef, he actually shares a CNET article stating he is taking it well, that references the Newsweek quote. That's close enough to a confirmation for me.
Does EA not even once consider that the reason no one cares for their Nintendo releases because at every opportunity they gimp those releases? Like how v they seemed genuinely surprised that Mass Effect 3 undersold on Wii U, when it launched almost directly against the Mass Effect Trilogy bundle (for I believe a cheaper price point at the time) and contained only partial DLC support.
@Barbara001 this is like a 5 year old mobile rpg. It's decent by those standards, but I paid like $3 for it lol. I wouldn't buy at this price. Still, just as a soft "defense" to your question, what we are seeing on Switch are ports of a back catalog.
@Tendogamerxxx what are you on about? There's always been a collection element to physical. That's why a lot of deluxe editions come in special cases or sleeves. In this case, if someone were inclined, they would put it in the case for Fire Emblem itself, swapping out the default one.
I've always assumed it was a software issue. My original joycons had the issue out of the box. Initially it was mild but eventually became unplayable. I bought another pair, and the right one drifts about 50% of the time.
I've been saying this ever since people stated complaining about Geralt not looking old, bearded, and chiseled. I think Witcher 3 has gone pretty mainstream, so it's a lot of folks' default concept of the franchise.
Edit for everyone else regarding that one chap- I used the ignore button and had a much more pleasant experience in the comments.
Honestly, I balked at $40 for two SNES and one GB game. I mean, compared to the Genesis collection or even the Mega Man collections or Anniversary packs coming out now, that's a bit much.
@60frames-please I wouldn't hold my breath there. I'm not sure where the rights for those lie, but their developer wound up merging with Monolith (Shadows of Mordor). To my knowledge, Beamdog only picked up rights to the Infinity Engine games (namely, the ones mentioned here) and the first Neverwinter. The "Enhanced Edition" line.
@Krysta I wouldnt worry too much. Im curious what they do with the UI. But this style of game works ok on console. I've been playing Pillars of Eternity, Wasteland 2, Divinity: Original Sin, and Torment: Tides of Numenera on console and they work well. I also have played BG and Planescape on my tablet and Note phone, and they work well (especially with the stylus). I know stylus isn't an option here, but I'm sure they will get something serviceable set up.
I would just point out to everyone who tunes out at seeing Kemco that some of their games are actually decent (for budget releases). There's this idea that Kemco is dropping a game a month, so there's no quality. The fact that many lose here is that they PUBLISH. They have a number of studios making their games, kind kf like how Activision runs Call of Duty every year by cycling three studios. Kemco has an in-house team, Exe-Create, Hit-Point, Matured, Rideon, WorldWide, and Chocoarts. There was a time when all their games felt like your college buddy's 2002 RPG Maker project, most releases were from the in house team or Worldwide Software, and the localization read like it was run through Google translate. That's why they have such a crap reputation.
I mean, I'm not saying everything's high quality. But as they've gotten more successful, they've worked better with western publishers and had improved localization. Tech has gotten better. They've dabbled in subgenres. They have a couple of serviceable SRPGs and ARPGs, for example.
I dunno, just watch a trailer and then make a decision. Just thinking "its Kemco" isn't correct, since there are a frw different studios of differing levels of skill.
@Nintendo4Sonic THIS I'm not gonna lie, for some of us a good opening theme gets us pumped. Sonic Heroes? I wasn't sold on the concept but the opening got me excited. Hearing Crush 40 return for this is exciting... And the Switch version cuts it lol. Jun Senoue's involvement with the game in general is a major selling point, and its feeling as a "budget" release is a common criticism I'm seeing. So this move... Kinda feeds into that even more.
Is it a HUGE issue? Nah. But seems needles in a world where day 1 patches exist. Every other company brazenly patches, releases digital only, or puts out compilations half physical/half digital. This really feels like "we didnt have time to compress the file, so lets try to sell its absence like a feature." And look how many right in this thread are patting them on the back for it lol. Personally, I'm not a Switch-only gamer. Honestly, I could get it on PS4 and use Remote Play, or get it on Steam. I can play it on my GPD Win or use Steam Link or Shadow to stream it to my GPD XD or my phone. So portability isn't a problem... Why would I buy an inferior version? Especially when it feeds into a bigger issue here. This game is all about cooperative teams. And Switch is the least chat-friendly platform out there.
That said- if you're a Nintendo only household, this really isn't so big a deal that I would shun the game. I'm just saying for people with options, this move isn't doing them favors. This is generating negative press. A 500mb patch would not have. Which means, they aren't projecting this to be a big seller for them. If THEY lack faith in the product, it hurts a bit.
I figured this would happen. Now all the people painting a picture of poor animators held hostage with the lives of their family hanging in the balance to make the deadline can relax.

Re: Space Hunted: The Lost Levels Is Coming Exclusively To Wii U This Week
@Stu13 @Capt_N same. I still have my Wii U in service. Xenoblade Chronicles X is one reason. There were some ports I loved on there too, like Deus Ex HR. And the virtual console. I also picked up Mass Effect 3 for peanuts last year and found a surprisingly active community on the multiplayer.
Re: Review: Ember - A Lightweight RPG That Burns Itself Out Faster Than We'd Like
In my opinion, this is a solid game..in context. When it came out on iOS, I was fairly impressed. It is, however, a harder sell on the Switch, with Pillars of Eternity (and the sequel due soon), the Beamdog Infinity Engine games, and Divinity Original Sin II. It is priced appropriately for its scope and run time, however.
Re: Ring Fit Adventure Player Shows Off His Healthy Transformation After One Month
@NEStalgia when you start, if you were sedentary beforehand, you can see a rapid change. Especially if you had any circulation issues and were carrying water weight. I've experienced that first hand. It levels off.
Re: Ring Fit Adventure Player Shows Off His Healthy Transformation After One Month
Re: Ring Fit Adventure Player Shows Off His Healthy Transformation After One Month
Some people are being ridiculous in this thread. "His hair style is different." "Oh it fixed his vision? "
We seriously have never heard of hair cuts and contacts?
Re: Former Nintendo Of America President Reggie Says The Future Of Games Is In The Cloud
The way companies are allowed to divide up areas and throttle connection speeds in the US, not soon in my opinion. Not as the only way. There are evenings I can't get my laptop to connect to my PS4 via Remote Play. Imagine if streaming was the only option.
Re: Review: Simulacra - An Interesting Horror Title That Doesn't Quite Hit The Mark
Re: Watch Out Pokémon, Temtem Wants To Be The Very Best Creature-Collection MMO
I like their answer to the legal question. I've been trying to explain that to people for over a year (new people keep finding the thread) about Micromon on mobile.
Re: Reminder: Registrations For Pokémon Sword And Shield's First Online Battle Competition Close Today
Re: Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC Reveals Controversial Voice Actor's Replacement
@Rafie
Re: Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC Reveals Controversial Voice Actor's Replacement
Have to live all the people acting like they've been in the fence about this 2 yr old game (a year if going by the Switch port only), but this dlc announcement is what they've been waiting for. Or trying to punish ArcSys and Bamco because FUNi's parent company (Sony) cut ties with someone over a year ago.
Doesn't the fact that Vic is credited for the classic DBZ Broly in the game show this isn't some bias from the devs? They needed someone to record the battle shouts.
Re: There Are "No Plans" To Bring The Full Pokédex To Pokémon Sword And Shield, And Future Games Will Follow Suit
Re: Relive The Glory Days Of Podracing With This Re-Release Of Star Wars Episode 1: Racer For N64
@Moistnado Careful. It's not for Switch, it's a physical repro cart for N64.
Re: Japanese Releases Of Dragon Quest I, II And III On Switch Will Be Playable In English
Re: Dante Returns To Switch In Devil May Cry 2 On 19th September, Pre-Purchase Now
This game isn't horrible. It plays pretty smooth, and you can see a lot of ideas that get further extrapolated on in the 3rd game. The reason people disliked it is that it was a departure from the first, losing the adventure elements (not as big an issue now, as now the first game stands out as the odd duck there) and the story was straight trash.
Re: Report Suggests Nintendo Doesn't Want To Overdo Mobile Microtransactions
Re: Nintendo Download: 8th August (North America)
@NotTelevision this was a pleasant surprise for me. I've had the sequel on pre order for awhile now for Switch, and lamented no save transfer from the first. Not a problem now.
Re: Random: KISS' Gene Simmons Has Something To Say About New Pokémon, Obstagoon
@Kalmaro if you scroll Gene's feef, he actually shares a CNET article stating he is taking it well, that references the Newsweek quote. That's close enough to a confirmation for me.
Re: Hardware Review: 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ - The Best Third-Party Switch Controller Just Got Better
I've been waiting for this since last year! I'm be ordering one after my next pay day.
Re: Switch Owners Choose To Play EA Games On Other Platforms, Says Company CEO
Does EA not even once consider that the reason no one cares for their Nintendo releases because at every opportunity they gimp those releases? Like how v they seemed genuinely surprised that Mass Effect 3 undersold on Wii U, when it launched almost directly against the Mass Effect Trilogy bundle (for I believe a cheaper price point at the time) and contained only partial DLC support.
Re: Poll: Fire Emblem: Three Houses Is Out Today, Which House Will You Choose?
@Wiss2wiss nah haha, I was making a Legends Of The Hidden Temple reference. I just chose Black Eagles though.
Re: Poll: Fire Emblem: Three Houses Is Out Today, Which House Will You Choose?
Red Jaguars all the way!
Re: RPG Illusion Of L'Phalcia Brings Turn-Based 3D Battles To Switch Next Week
@Barbara001 this is like a 5 year old mobile rpg. It's decent by those standards, but I paid like $3 for it lol. I wouldn't buy at this price. Still, just as a soft "defense" to your question, what we are seeing on Switch are ports of a back catalog.
Re: Show Off Your Fire Emblem: Three Houses Colours With These Free Printable Case Covers (Europe)
@Tendogamerxxx what are you on about? There's always been a collection element to physical. That's why a lot of deluxe editions come in special cases or sleeves. In this case, if someone were inclined, they would put it in the case for Fire Emblem itself, swapping out the default one.
Re: US Law Firm Opens "Switch Joy-Con Drift" Class Action Investigation
I've always assumed it was a software issue. My original joycons had the issue out of the box. Initially it was mild but eventually became unplayable. I bought another pair, and the right one drifts about 50% of the time.
Re: Don't Expect Netflix's Witcher Show To Copy The Video Games
I've been saying this ever since people stated complaining about Geralt not looking old, bearded, and chiseled. I think Witcher 3 has gone pretty mainstream, so it's a lot of folks' default concept of the franchise.
Edit for everyone else regarding that one chap- I used the ignore button and had a much more pleasant experience in the comments.
Re: Nintendo Download: 13th June (North America)
Honestly, I balked at $40 for two SNES and one GB game. I mean, compared to the Genesis collection or even the Mega Man collections or Anniversary packs coming out now, that's a bit much.
Re: Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights And More D&D Classics Coming To Switch
Re: Fantasy RPG Legend Of The Tetrarchs Brings Turn-Based Battling To Switch Next Week
Re: Team Sonic Racing Drops Opening Cutscene On Switch Due To "Cartridge Size Restrictions"
@Nintendo4Sonic THIS
I'm not gonna lie, for some of us a good opening theme gets us pumped.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy Of The Duelist Arrives On Switch This August With Three Brand-New Trading Cards
@GameOtaku ah, that's right. I remember now. A helpful but limiting.
Re: The Sonic Movie Gets Delayed Until 2020 To Get Things 'Just Right'
I figured this would happen. Now all the people painting a picture of poor animators held hostage with the lives of their family hanging in the balance to make the deadline can relax.
Re: Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy Of The Duelist Arrives On Switch This August With Three Brand-New Trading Cards
@GameOtaku that's one feature I miss! Was it the old DS or PSP games that let you do that?
