While I've never played sunshine except for the first few levels I will do 64 first. It's my fav Mario besides galaxy and I haven't played in a while. I remember the F.L.U.D.D. controls being whacky and don't want to jump into that mess too quick.

@NewAdvent Switch already can use built in voice chat. Nintendo refuses to use it for their Ip's

@Jeronan Xenoblade came out near the end of Wii's life cycle. The Wii U just didn't last. Nintendo has stated they want the switch to last a long time. It's more than likely we'll see at least one more mainline Xenoblade in the Switch's life cycle.

I've been playing a lot of fortnite since its release and only saw a skull not a countdown. Also I don't mind gyro vs stick. I still get those sweet pump headshots. However playing through the octo expansion recently I noticed my gyro aiming skills had weakened after all the fortnite.

I don't understand where all the hate's coming from. I guess it comes with the territory of being popular. I'm fine with these articles. Would've been helpful if I hadn't already caught up with my battle pass.

I managed to avoid the BR craze until now. I can see why its so popular. Got a battle pass and am already caught up in the weekly challenges.

I've pre-ordered and am defenitely more excited I can play as a male. I was worried it would be limited to online matches after beating the story.

@Galenmereth I've beaten the main story and I'm still not sure how they would tie in.

I was willing to believe this until they mentioned Shulk and Fiora being blades. Way too farfetched.

Never got it on the Wii U but it had piqued my interest. Turned out for the better that I skipped it. I will definitely consider grabbing it.

This poll is clearly skewed by the recent release.

I only got a switch with the Splatoon 2 bundle launch so in still just finishing up BOTW. Splatoon took up most of my time the first month so I only really got into Zelda the past 3 weeks.

However it is super tempting now that I'm pretty much done with BOTW to run down to my local game store and grab SMO.

Mario's nips will be mine.

@Neon_Blues Sun and Moons story was so good! Although it does decrease the repeatability for me. Replayed X/Y numerous times because if the light story.

@DarkmarkUnited its actually retailing at 500 in Canada I'm still going to pick it up though. Also apparently its releasing on the 14th instead of 8th for some reason.

Even though you're not saving any money I will still be lining up out front on release day. Splatoon 2 is a must buy and it's worth it to me for the controllers while carrying case is a little cool. Disappointed it only comes with a dl code because I prefer physical media. Haven't been able to get a switch yet so I'll be holding out until this releases.

I guess so? I only just got a PS3 when the PS4 came out. I'll probably get around to getting a PS4 eventually but Switch is taking up all my time for now.

@Henmii 8gb Wii u was discontinued very early in its life cycle. So its more likely from he first year of production. I bought my 32gb Wii u day 1 and have never had an issue though

@gortsi I guess? But they're separate games for separate consoles. Maybe I'm just a mook but I've bought every iteration if the franchise. On the other hand I'm repurchasing Mario kart 8 for switch only because its both portable and home. So I guess you have a point!

Not a fan of the blue at all. Will most likely get the gray sku and the red joycons on the side. Although I can't get the system day 1 sadly so hopefully an sku with just red joycons will be released before splatoon2 is. That'll save me at least 100 bucks.

@andjahiam I hope not! It's bad enough having to replace my phone every year and my laptop every other. I don't need to add a console to that list.

@Eisenbolan Who in their right mind puts a $300 console in their pants pocket. Furthermore how big are your pants that you can comfortably put a 3ds in them?

@Bunkerneath Nope, it's a console. The games are downscaled in portable mode, not the other way around.

Got KinneKted, without caps for some dumb reason. I prefer to have all of my accounts unified under the same name. Does that make it easier for online predators to stalk me? Probably.

Well, I'm posting this from my Wii U so... (although that's only because my laptop is broken right now.)

However, I am disappointed Netflix isn't an option as I prefer to use my laptop to surf while I watch on the TV. I'm not really planning on ever upgrading my PS3 so soon this will be the only console I'm actively using.

About to grab Moon now, will definitely get Stars later too. Usually I don't bother with the 3rd version but a mainline pokemon game on a home console is too good to pass up.

Was surprised not to see Splatoon on the list. Without the gamepad you'd be screwed. One of the best uses of it besides XCX and ZombiU

I have all 720 sitting on my 3DS right now. Just awaiting the official release of Volcanion in the west.

I upgraded to the New 3DS purely for the face plates. All the other features were just an added bonus. I've personally never had an issue with the 3D on the previous model so I haven't noticed much difference. Also anyone expecting a large number of "exclusives" just haven't been paying attention. It's essentially like a DSi, just the definitive version of the 3DS before the new console comes out in a year or so.

It was unexpected and a nice surprise. Wasn't too excited by much though. Disappointed there was no mention of Zelda U or any more Pokemon info but I can't say I was really expecting any of it.

Worst part was ANOTHER Kirby game?! According to the poll though people are really into that. Oh well.

@KrakenSoup Oh I've definitely heard of them too as I'm into the Steampunk aesthetic. I just prefer other bands to them. The are still pretty different musically to other steampunk bands though.

Yellow will always have a special place in my heart as the first game I played. All the tie ins with the anime made it that much better! Gold is my all time favourite pokemon game but I had to pick heartgold instead because of all the updates! Other than that Y was pretty great.

Ocarina of Time is hands down the best Zelda game ever. Still remember renting it multiple times from the blockbuster because my parents we're too cheap to buy it. Oh those were the days.

Second was Wind Waker and then Twilight Princess for me.

That survey was way long but hopefully it'll actually make a difference. Almost bailed when they forced me to choose a "favourite" amiibo. Definitely not interested in none of that!

This would be a disastrous move on Nintendo's part. They have already stated they're not going to compete directly with Sony and Microsoft and removing the Gamepad would force this. It then leaves the Wii U as and under powered system with nothing different to attract consumers. Still while the gamepad has its features I feel Nintendo just hasn't quite figured out the best use for it. Let's hope they can figure it out sooner rather than later.
