GungHo Online Entertainment has announced that Ninjala has now surpassed a mighty seven million downloads worldwide. To celebrate, all players are being treated to a free in-game gift.
Valid from now up until 2:59am BST on 17th June, all players can make use of a bonus 100 Jala. The in-game currency has been distributed through a mail message, so make sure to log into the game and claim it before the time mentioned above.
"We are happy to announce that Ninjala has achieved 7 million downloads worldwide! We wish to express our deepest gratitude to all our users for your support...
"We hope you continue to enjoy Ninjala!"
If you're yet to give Ninjala a try, we'd urge you to check out our full review, published when the game first launched back in June last year. At the time, we described it as "a good-looking and impressively tactical free-to-play arena fighter."
Thanks to Greatsong for the tip!

7 million downloads!? Who are these people and where are they hiding
We really need some new Switch games...
I'm one of the 7 million that has downloaded, but not played yet =0p
Suppose I should give it a whirl to see what it's like.
I play it but it just doesn't keep me coming back so I went back to playing Splatoon 2 instead.
no ones on servers tho its all bots
If I were to play this game again it will just make me want to go and play Splatoon 2.
One of these days, Splatoon and Ninjala have to do some crossover.
Really happy to see this. Seeing as the 6 million milestone was 4 months ago, this means at least one million more people have tried it. It's a fun--albeit flawed--game that takes time to get used to, so I hope people stick around to give it a chance. I got bored of Splatoon 2 a while back, and this game has scratched the itch for an arena brawler game simply because you can play it solo while Splatoon always mandates (unbalanced) teams.
@NintendoCopium
Even if 1% of that 7 million is still playing, that's still 70,000 active players.
@JR150 I like the game 2, i tried a month ago and no one was on
@NintendoCopium
Ah. Try again when the new season rolls around on June 16th. There's always a new influx of players then.
7 million downloads but how many of those still play?
YAY! Ninjala finally got to 7 Million downloads. I was thinking that it was going to hit the milestone sooner rather than later. I hope it can get to 8 Million in the next few months. I hope Ninjala reaches 10 Million eventually.
@ryancraddock
THANK YOU for writing this article, I really appreciate it. I know that you guys are pretty consistent with the additional million downloads articles for NInjala, but I just wanted to encourage you guys to continue writing Ninjala articles.
@Kimyonaakuma
I'm one of those people, and I'm also not hiding, I've just been busy recently. There's a few people on here in the Ninjala Gang, but I don't know where they are currently.
@sikthvash
I would recommend trying it out, although I'm one of the few people on here who actually likes it.
@Ghost_of_Hasashi, @Jake_qwerp
I actually feel the opposite way about Ninjala and Splatoon 2, for some reason.
@NintendoCopium
I still go on Ninjala when I can, and I'm not a bot. 🤔 😛
@ModdedInkling
I'm hoping that it happens as well. I mean, IIRC, I believe it was the Gung-Ho CEO who said that he would love to do a crossover with Splatoon someday, so I think it could very possibly happen. (I mean it could happen as soon as next year with Splatoon 3 launching then).
@JR150
I'm really happy to see this as well. What concerns that the rate of a million more players downloading Ninjala has been slowing down. Like you said it was 4 months ago, that Ninjala had 6 Million downloads. The gap for every additional million downloads has increased by a month, since around the 3-4 million player mark.
@Guyokai
I still play when I get the chance to (or when I'm in the mood for it).
