Re: Donkey Kong Bananza's Director And Producer Have Been Confirmed

@N00BiSH theyre obviously trying to appeal to culture. Everyone got those big ol' cheap white veneers.

Just like the cgi animation does the same thing by making their characters more and more "full figured"

If he does eat them I wanna see those veneers crack. Honestly both things completely turned me off to the game. Won't be getting it. Gives me a major headache just thinking about it

Yeah no im sorry. I know this is some fantastical adventure. But you're not going to make me believe that donkey kong is in love with some CRYSTAL bananas. That he can't even chew. Insane and ridiculous. Ill take the transformations and everything but crystal bananas and like they say in the trailer 'you wouldn't believe the different types of terrains they have, underground' or something of the sort.
No you're right I absolutely dont believe there are completely different solar systems and suns underneath wherever this place is set. Extremely lazy writing.

If This game, gra VI, & the next elder scrolls arent on switch 2, I won't be getting it. Only games I'm excited to play in the future.

Switch made me miss gta V. Nintendo is charging enough money so they better pull through. They fell thru w the last Zelda game & this crystal banana 🍌 donkey Kong aren't doing it for me.
My next console might have to be a non nintendo of they f this up. They had time, money & resources. Don't f it up

Re: Random: Switch 2 Leakers Called Out By Industry Veteran Hideki Kamiya

@Hero-of-WiiU not baiting anyone. That's exactly how I felt when watching this. Why even put the game in the trailer if it's going to look 15 years old.
It's a new system in close to 10 years, giving no one a reason to upgrade (yet)

The hardware looks much improved, apart from this mario kart game. I don't care much about crazy graphics, I don't need them at all. This mario just feels extremely lazy and low effort, because they've sold almost 50 million copies of 8 (and it's still selling like crazy).

TOTK has a bad, poorly explained, even unexplained story with key elements missing. It is supposed to be a sequel yet acts as it's own game. Almost nothing in the game suggests to or refers to the events that happened in the last game. There is no explanation of why after already activating towers you now have to go reactivate some completely different new towers. Why is every tower not working? Princess Zelda is a dragon (of course they explain why, but....honestly, why)? No real in depth explanation of the Zonai. They just included them to include them. The graphics and game play barely updated. Even more vast areas full of complete nothingness. The entire underground seems as if it is just meant to waste your time and life away. The Yiga clan have even less connection to the story than last time. I can go on and on. Completing this game felt like a chore. Ganondorf had a cool updated version, sure. But what even was the point?

The original BOTW surpasses this immensely and I hope TOTK does not outsell it in the long run. What were they thinking creating this, and why and how did it take so long. It did not deserve GOTY.

Re: Soapbox: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Fixed The Yiga Clan, And Now I Want More

Actually liked them much more in BOTW.
They were so annoying in this game. With almost 0 purpose. What did they actually do to help Ganondorf here? Nothing. If anything doing the quests, as long as they took exploring the underground for a fruitless long chase, leading up to an ending that has no impact on the story whatsoever.
Very bothersome.

Re: Ubisoft Game Designer And Creative Director Emile Morel Has Passed Away

"The posting advertises an opening for a senior concept artist who would work on Beyond Good and Evil 2, with the very name of that role suggesting the game is nowhere near completion. Not least because concept artists are mainly involved in the pre-production stage of game development, as the main purpose of their work is to provide references for modelers, environment artists, and animators."

Seems like he was sick for a lil bit & Ubisoft was looking for his replacement during the time

Re: Review: Fire Emblem - The Blazing Blade Is Still As Sharp As Ever

Kiliomp

The series has strayed too far away from Awakening. In Engage you don't really care if a grand majority of the characters die. There aren't any really emotional stakes, bonding has become a chore because it doesn't really mean much in the game other than Stat boots. The only thing that really pushes you use the time crystal for is if someone strong dies.
I'm not sure how different this one is from Engage or Awakening but I want to play it and see.

Re: Talking Point: What Do You Wish You Knew Sooner In Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom?

How completely ridiculously ambiguous some of the main quests are and their way about completing the tasks. Nothing is straightforward, the depths are kind of ridiculous and just a waste of time. No real reward or point in acivtiating all the lightroots. Very big, yet very empty. Repetitive monsters. The master koga quest had almost no reason to complete.

The story as much as they like it to be a continuation from BOTW is nothing of the sort. It'd completely disjointed, and I can't believe they actually sold it as a sequel.
