I see no reason why WWHD wasn't released on Switch 1. So I don't believe that it will release on Switch 2 either. More so with NSO version. If they don't do MP2 remake, I hope that they at least put it on NSO.

I think I just stick with Mario Kart World for a while. And those GameCube games.

@TheJamesHollan Yes, what I meant that I didn't buy it for Switch 1 (or Xbox) because I hoped that Switch 2 would get mouse support. And now that it is confirmed, I will buy Switch 2 version. Sorry for explaining it poorly.

I think that best solution for the mouse would be some kind of attachment for the joy-con. Like mouse sleeve where you slide your joy-con into. You get comfort of real mouse, and buttons of the joy-con.

I hoped that Switch 2 to have mouse controls, thats why I didn't buy it when it launched. My pc is too old nowadays, but I found Civ VI controls on console to be little.. slow and clunky. It worked, but I prefer mouse on this one.

Back to the Xenoblade Chronicles X for me. If they reveal Switch 2 upgrade for it I may shelve it until that.

I think that I will finally upgrade my sub.

But about Smash; will we have free upgrade or do we pay for it?

I expect a lot of announcements like this coming in.

@Shiiva But CD Projekt Red managed to fit Cyperpunk in the cartridge. Elden Ring is 72gb (on Xbox at least), they could do it of they wanted to (Cyberpunk is 65gb).

My local store (in finland) have Mario Kart bundle for 597,90€. Mario Kart World is 84,90€ and Switch 2 without Mario Kart is 557,90€.

It could use some color? It just looks so.. uninspiring. Some nicely designed, colorful characters and killer soundtrack could make wonders for a game like this. Wonder how much it is? If it is 70€ it would be dead on arrival. Wasn't ARMS full priced?

@romanista It was 256gb. I have 200gb memory card right now, so I hope I will be fine for a while. It was not very cheap, I fear that 500gb cards would cost too much.

Well, that's good. Now I don't have to buy a ton of controllers just so I can play Mario Kart with friends. And if wired game cube controllers do work, I'm not so sure if I buy that new one for NSO.

@HamKnight And it's alright to have principles. People just should stand behind them as well. But I bet most people who complain the prices now, will still buy the new Switch and Mario Kart for it.

We'll know soon enough. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is pretty much most sold game on Switch. We will see how this goes.

I understand that people are upset about the price. How much less digital games will be? Its probably just a push to get people to buy digital.

@StuTwo Well it it's about 50h in USA, I don't see why would it be different in EU. I have played about 200-300h this year thus far.

I moved to digital games ages ago. Honestly I'm surprised this thing have game card slot at all. Or at least I expected 'digital only' cheaper console also.

I wonder how much those upgrades cost. Whats your limit, guys? 15? 20? I could pay 20€ for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 upgrade, if it comes with 4k and 60fps.

I hope I can use my original controllers with that adapter I bought for Wii U all those years ago. It works with Switch, so we can hope (it would be a nightmare to get those new controllers).

Playing some Fire Emblem Three Houses. And tonight we play some Sea of Thieves with friends.

I assume that we have a choice for japanese voice acting?

For some reason I thought that it would be mostly about hardware. But for about new games, Xenoblade (or Monolith Soft title), Fire Emblem and Metroid are the ones I'm interested in.

And I'd like to know if Switch 2 boost original Switch games. Most have some sort of trouble, either with resolution or framerate (or both), it would be nice if they run smoother with the new hardware.

Still hoping that they add Fire Emblem Three Houses soundtrack some day. Or some Xenoblade stuff.

I also think its weird that there are two 2nd gen starters. I may pick chikorita. Mostly because there are fire and water pokémon I'd rather use in place of tepig/totodile.

I love co-op games, and I love RPGs, but co-op RPG? No. When I play RPGs I want to focus on the story. And I really can't do that when I play with friends.

Can games from Japan eShop be played in other languages, or are they all just in japanese?

Civilization could be fine. But lets remember that while xbox supports kb/m, civilization vi on xbox you can't use them.
