Its like we are playing the modern pokémon games with Action Replay. Everything is dumbed down and easy for the sake of being accessible. The series took a nosedive in quality with Sun&Moon. That awesome feeling of accomplishment that got me into the games is gone, and Ill always go back to older games when I feel like playing again.

I hope I can get over how much I didnt enjoy the first OT so i can give this a try.

Yes, I am one of those people. I dont need every game to be open world. Its like ordering too much food. Sometimes I want a linear experience where I am "told" what to do. Thats also why I enjoy indie games so much.

I have been trying to complete Blasphemous 1 because I enjoy it so much. Now that Ive found out that you have be very meticulous about what you do to actually not lock yourself out of the true ending, I will settle for the bad one. Kinda sucks though, since I bought the physical version for unjustifiable amount of money and I had hoped to finish the game completely.

Nice! Ill keep an eye out for it. One of those games I had to give another try to really appreaciate it. It was a bit slow at first, but I got used to it. Now its definitely one of the better metroidvanias I have played. The only real con is the map which is very basic and lackluster compared to everything else.

It wasnt shown very much, but I liked Gecko Gods.

This looks amazing! Any kind soul that could tell me whether this game is limited on physical copies? Moneys tight right now, but I dont want to be late buying this before its too late.

They can keep it. Switch supports big enough game cart to handle it. The ps5 has everything on the disc so why is it us again getting scammed..

There are mainly two things I remember about this game. The iconic music and the final level at the airship which was incredibly difficult for me.

I wish I could and was hoping to pick it up after work, but it got coupled with some stickers for free which are not in stock. Since that happened, it got delayed until everything is available.. Curse you, stupid stickers D: (I cancelled the order)

The only time I buy digital games now is when theyre discounted. The 3ds eshop closure was a huge wake up call. Even then it felt kinda icky when I bought two fully priced games so I have a chance to play them (legit way). It didnt feel good knowing Ill lose them one day and being a bit forced into buying them before Ill never be able to. Needles to say, Im done "borrowing" games and Im now fully committed to physical releases.

Im giving YX 9 another shot. Its barely worth playing on the switch, but I love the series, so Ill push through the lag and bad graphics.

Itd be amazing if they released a physical version once theyre done with all of the updates. Id gladly buy one

I am playing Pheonix Wright Trilogy and Starfield. They go together so well. When Im not in mood to play one I play the other.

Fun game. I placed 6th on my first online match. I might have some potential Maybe theyre testing the waters to see how many people are interested in F-Zero.Hopefully, we will receive a proper release one day.

No, I even gave up on finishing the base game. Im done supporting Pokemon for now.

The game is good so far. Im very interested in what happens at the end of it. The only real complaint I have is the blurriness in handheld. Its switch exclusive so I expected a bit more

Its probably not realistic but I would consider buying it if its all on card with no downloads.

DS one all the way. I played the remastered version and it was way too easy.

I am glad to hear that. Ive played 1, 7, 8, 9, 11. My absolute favoruite was 9 and 11 close behind. I would normally not give this series a chance since its very.. fairy-taley, but its so charming that I dont mind.

I feel like I am the only person that enjoyed the controls. I liked them in Metroid Prime Hunters and Zelda PH & ST as well.

Ive spent about 140 hours on it and it doesnt even feel like I did. I think the "Time flies by when youre having fun" really applies here.

Ill give the first one another try. I just remember not liking that there are too many characters introduced each episode

I can see myself playing it for 100 hours. The only negative I have to say about this game is that it invalidates BotW which I might never touch again. I miss cryo though

I appreciate the risk they took. Not everyone wants to sit through a lore like that. It was very slow paced and nothing wild to grab your attention right away. I liked it though. Just because how unusual it was for a Zelda game.

@JohnnyMind I have no idea. The CO who rhymes with seagull is good with air units, but there is nothing mentioned about their field of vision. Maybe its more complicated than I think. Ill look into it again. It could be their infantry units in mountains being closer to me than mine to them.

@JohnnyMind Glad to hear but its not them. I checked on the COs ability already and they have no fog of war perks

Probably 7 or 8 now. I was having so much fun with the campaign until I got stuck and finally checked on other stuff. The biggest sin for me is the online mode which is limited to friends only.. I dont get that at all and it really annoys me its still a thing in 2023. Another thing that bugs me is implementation of the fog. Im stuck on one campaign map where I tried to build my strategy around positioning my air units in a way that enemy should not be able to see them, but somehow the enemys field of vision is bigger than mine, because they can see me while I cant see them. I dont like to lose to confirm the enemys unit positions first for next time I play. This has happened only once though and its thanks the other CO having many more units. Having unfair fog mechanics and leading your small army into an unknown territory to set you up for next time, since the margin for error is really small, did not feel good to me.

All I need to see is more of the world and that they have changed it enough to get me excited. Those tiny sky islands are cool, but were gonna spend most of the time on ground still and Im a bit nervous that thev didnt give it much attention..

I finished 11 few days back and I loved it. I never thought Id enjoy it as much as I did. I dislike fairy tales stories, but this series is an exception and I knew that if it was anything like DQ9, Id like it. Good thing I went ahead and bought DQ8 as well, but I have no hope I can get the ds games (besides 9) for reasonable price now so I gave up on completing my collection.
I am hoping theyll approach 12 the same way they did 11. The game was beautiful and showed me what switch can really do, which annoyed me at the same time, since we got so many bad looking ports on switch. I have faith theyll handle this well, cant wait!

I wish EO wasnt one my most favourite series ever, but as a collector Ill still save more money if I buy this version - The 3rd game in the series was never remade and is very expensive but if I could get it for reasonable price, Id complete my collection on ds&3ds since those games were tailored for those systems. There is no way theyre gonna turn out better on switch or anything else. Not to mention the other games (after 4th) shot up in price as well so Ill wait for them to remake them as well.

@Ryu_Niiyama Sounds good! I was a bit skeptical with everyone moping that they lost their chance buying the game through Square Enix and here is Play Asia dishing out preorders no problem. Ill try them out!
