Re: Soapbox: Yes, You Really Should Do All Of Xenoblade Chronicles 3's Sidequests

Ok, but it really sucks when you are done with all the sidequests only to find out you are overleveled spending your next hour just running through map unbothered by any enemies when progressing the story. I recommend doing hero quests as soon as you can then the story stuff and then sidequests. I do sidequests once I am 5 to 10 levels above the recommended level on hard mode.

Re: Review: Mario Strikers: Battle League - Simply The Best Sports Game On Switch

Yeah, no.. This game is in no way 9/10. There is not enough content and the investing in stats thing doesnt make sense to me. You can already choose players based on attributes you want and with more characters on the way there will be more than enough variety. I would rather spend my coins on cosmetics. The core gameplay is good but I feel like I am still playing the demo and I dont have anything to work towards. I wish they at least added cups based on difficulty or something or that star thingie in Mario kart eg scoring specific number of goals to get the perfect cup idk. All in all I am very underwhelmed.

@JaxonH I never really experimented with the hub quests too much. When I finished my village quests I went on the internet and everything Ive read suggested the quests do not scale which deterred me from taking on the hub and I quit the game. When it comes to mh I am a completionist and I couldnt see myself going through what I did again. I dont have that kind of patience anymore, but if what you are saying is true, then thank you for the clarifacition.

I might give Rise another chance, but I have burnt myself out on MH by playing gathering hub quests alone. I dont mind the difficulty, but it has always been exhausting to do them this way, since they never tweak monsters hp based on number of players and the fights are way too long. I understand they are aimed for more people, but the one player content (the village quests)in this game is pretty bad which doesnt motivate me to do what I love the most-building various sets of armors and weapons to do the hard stuff. And so there is probably no point for me to buy this expansion since they didnt bother adding high rank to soloplay and will most likely continue in this fashion and add more hub only monsters and I am not willing to do 40 minute hunts anymore.

Re: Review: Kirby And The Forgotten Land - A Breezy Delight With Mario-Level Invention

Justaguest

I might give this another chance since the rest of the game looks fun but the demo was suuuuper boring (the boss was fine). Like I understand this is aimed to be for kids but it just had some nice looking areas and no real substance. It felt like I knew the solution to every "problem" on the map before I even received the ability to deal with it with zero hinderance. But maybe the demo played it too safe for the sake of showing us what Kirby can do and the rest of the game is good.

Re: Japanese Charts: Triangle Strategy Storms To First Place

Imagine how many more copies would have been sold with a decent name...jk. They could have at least slapped a different icon on switch home menu. There is no illustration just "TRIANGLE STRATEGY" like they are so proud of that name. OK, sorry, I am done talking about it, I promise! At least the game itself is not.. out of shape.

Re: Poll: Are You Excited About Pokémon Scarlet And Pokémon Violet?

@Henmii I dont have any good examples rn but I believe that if the same kind of game gets released this often, people will grow tired of it and while it may sell for a while the gamers will finaly be 'overfed'. Its like eating the same food over and over. It doesnt help that pokemon games are pretty long too. Im just not willing to get into another overwhelming open world game this soon.

Re: Poll: Are You Excited About Pokémon Scarlet And Pokémon Violet?

No, I havent even started playing Arceus. Why are they milking pokemon so much? There are many games we can kill our time with. I dont need pokemon every 6 months. Just make a good game once in x years. If nintendo releases Mario this often, people would stop buying the games. Its not very strategic, I think..
