@Kisrah Markerting did a terrible job in properly showcasing the game. Now it will have to be us the gamers to show other gamers how it runs and looks. Nintendo as of late hasn't been doing too good with showcasing some 3rd party games properly.
@ear_wig I know I would have been day one but at full price? That's a no for me. Its a shame that when they showcased the game it looked like crap but now after release it seems to be running and looking well assuming you use the proper settings. 60 FPS seems to giving it a softer look so it will likely be patched and now they announced DLSS support coming to the game which is a first.
@Bizzyb I know man I was shocked when they announced a physical and they decided that it would be a code in box release instead. They also decided to do the same with Skyrim Anniversary Edition and Oblivion Remastered too. That is Bull in my opinion. Here you finally do something right only to do something dumb right after.
Looks like I'll be dipping again and since I saw that it was rather rough with 60 FPS I'll stick with the 40 FPS option as the nice option. I'll wait for a sale though.
It was for the best. There is a bunch of games coming out in March alone as it is about to be end of the whatchamacallit quarter and April will be a new one.
crazy thing is that Limited Run Games currently has the Switch 2 Edition on pre-order to their site. You would think to wait for the upgrade to be properly out before making such a commitment.
@Wilshiire will you take a physical code in box? sadly they might as well just had release this as digital only. Oblivion Remastered is also getting the same treatment physical code in box.
@N8tiveT3ch Well after quite the rumor mill Assassin's Creed Shadow has finally been formally announced for Switch 2 and as for Fallout 4 coming to Switch 2 it is a nice and welcome surprise as many thought it would be a remaster of New Vegas that would be announced instead and today happened to be Fallout Day so I don't think anyone expected this announcement.
@MattmanForever I played New Vegas on PS3 but it crashed quite a lot and when I got the DLC I couldn't access the Dead Money part of it at all. I had to fully experience the game on Steam later on as well as on GOG.
@zander_dale You should try out Age of Calamity as well. Even though there is no patch for improvements yet on Switch 2 the game performs better on the system from the get go.
@MS7000 I played that so much and now we have a Pokemon version of Minecraft. I'm definitely getting this. While DQB2 did suffer quite a lot on Switch it runs stellar now on Switch 2.
I went with the JSAUX one I found via Amazon for a fraction of the price and it has been wonders for me and I can dock it just fine. Sure it will lift the the dock when I lift the Switch 2 a little bit but I don't mind holding down the dock to lift the Switch 2 while I'm at it. So far it is doing what it is supposed to do protecting the joy cons and unit.
@LastFootnote Don't get me wrong. I don't hate digital but I still prefer physical for the majority of my games. I have made some exceptions on some big games that I wanted to jump to right away and bought them digitally those being Super Mario Odyssey and Tears of the Kingdom. I did eventually get a physical copy of Tears of the Kingdom for cheap later on to have on my shelf.
Man the battle system in this game is great it reminds me a lot from when I played Legend of Dragoon back on PlayStation but there are a few other games similar to it but so far this game has been spectacular. I managed to get the physical releases for PS5 and XSX. Sure wish there is a Switch 2 port coming as my Nintendo peeps are in for a treat.
I went to the GameStop that was opening at 10am inside the Christiana Mall here in Newark, DE. Managed to score the following: NS2 Console NS2 Pro Controller Mario Kart World (physical) Carry Case Renewing my GS Pro membership after a long hiatus. I got the Lexar 512GB Micro SD Express Card from Amazon and should be here before the console arrives. I did try online but it was crazy so I decided to just try my luck at my local GS store instead and it paid off.
I sometimes question Bethesda's decisions. They did at least bring over Fallout Shelter and a few other Bethesda titles heck even Skyrim is on Switch but not the mainline Fallout games are on it. Would be swell to have at least any Fallout on the dang console. If they can't do it then let someone else handle it.
Seems to me this will be an enhanced port for the rest of us as it will include some new monsters that only Japan got during the 3DS time as well as some Post-Game content. Very nice.
@BlackenedHalo oh word? they bringing over the original game to Switch? as well on PS4 and PC. I wonder if the Switch release will retain the amiibo features the 3DS version had. Now that I think about it I don't think Stories 2 never made it to PS4 but did on PC.
My Amazon copy took a delay but I eventually got it. Japan is still a bit heavy on physical even if they still try to push for digital. As for me I will always be physical whenever possible.
2D: The Lost Levels still to this day has me hair pulling and for 3D while I did beat it in the end but not completely 100 percent it is Mario Sunshine.
For me I went with a 7. I like some of the levels while I hated others. Music is hit and miss and I really loved some of the classics. (Sure wished Tee Lopes did all of it). Bosses hoo boy some of them were fun while others were dang tedious and almost sucked the fun out of me.
I kinda feel that Moonview Highway could have been Piranha Plant Cove instead but since Squeaky Cleank Sprint was here I guess they didn't want to have two water courses but still I really feel like Cove should have been on this wave.
Final Fantasy X was my first as before that I was ignorant of the FF series until my Sophomore year when new friend at the time showed me the Brady Games guide for it and I was in awe at the graphics and lore of the game. It was hard to get a PS2 at the time and I had to rent FFX many times from Blockbuster until my pops managed to get me a copy and then there was the fact I didn't know about memory cards at the time so I couldn't save my game until about a month later when I finally got a memory card. After that I managed to get VII, VIII and IX later.
I was able to get some final purchases on the 3DS eShop. Didn't need anything from Wii U eShop as I had most of the stuff from the Wii days brought over to it and anything Wii U specific I have in physical disc. Anyways for 3DS eShop I bought three SNES VC games (DKC 1, DKC 3 and Super Mario Kart. I did have DKC 2 and Super Mario World way earlier). Mario Golf World Tour Season Pass, Gurumin 3D and Go Go Kokopolo 3D. Most of the games I have for 3DS are in physical cart and I did get some DLC for some of them.
It seems just as a lot of people have mentioned that the game being $60 is what is putting a lot of people off. To me so far the game is a lot of fun but also I think it should have been priced at $39.99. There is quite a bit to do in the game for those that like going for 100%.
@K1LLEGAL. Looks like I can't do it via 3DS system but I can do it via the Nintendo website.
EDIT: Dang looks like I can't seem to do it via website either. I don't get the option to use my gold coins to make the purchase. Now that I looked into things further looks like we can't use Gold Coins on 3DS/Wii U stuff. Only on Switch.
Man it does suck a bit that Nintendo didn't at least put some of their games on sale for one last time. Anyways I only ever got the first game. Hmmm I nearly have 1,000 gold coins so may I can get the second and third games for free.
@AlexanderDaniels I think she would be fine with Meowth as she can get it from any of the 3DS PKMN games she has. She should be fine with Yellow and Crystal then.
I believe I have them all but I need to get my 3DS again to double check. Is simply getting Yellow and Crystal enough? I want my sister to at least have those two on her 3DS.

RE Generation Pack purchase fully justified. This and Village just needs to have some issues ironed out via patches and everything will be golden.

As much as I don’t want to I’ll have to bite for certain titles. Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster will be my first one.
