Re: The Man Behind Fluidity And Stealth Inc Discusses Leaving Curve Digital And Future Plans

Josaku

This game reminds me a bit of "Forsaken 64" and Starfox .... Loved those games and I would really like to see this coming to WiiU.
While I can see how some might consider this "just another shooter" I also see that this games has many things making it stand out among this shooter filled industry, which could lead to success.

All in all I wish him all the luck he can get with this game and his new Studio and I'm looking forward to seeing this game (or whatever he is doing instead) on the WiiU ^^

Re: Gallery: This Custom Mario Party N64 is a Sight for Sore Eyes

Josaku

Looks really good! ... Reminds me of a time where mario party was a game against your friends ... and not a game where everyone sits in the same "car" escaping from bowser ...
I really wished, Nintendo would make a clasic Mario Party next time, or at least include the clasic mode with good minigames ^^"

Re: Review: OlliOlli (3DS eShop)

Josaku

@Beechbone I had no issues with the 3DS version or the WiiU version up until now, but seeing how good Nintendo is when it comes to stability, this will hopefully be fixed ^^"

Re: Once Bitten, Twice Dead Coming to Wii U

Josaku

Oh man~ another Zombie game on the market ...
a part of me hopes that games on the WiiU do well because this would show others that they can make money on the system so more games would come to the wiiu but this? ... I really don' know ...

Re: Eiji Aonuma Talks About his Journey to Becoming The Legend of Zelda’s Producer

Josaku

@ricklongo
Yes opinions, but I hope that we can get onto common ground in terms of WW being empty and the sailing mechanic being increadibly timewasting and boring ... which are the biggest issues I have with windwaker ^^"
smaller ones were the somewhat bizzar look the game had ... not the artstyle, but the proportions of people ...
or the story having the best starting point any zeldagame had up to date with your sister being kidnapped but getting stale quickly after becasue of how the story is conveyed ... and lastly tetra ... I kinda hated her, I really don't know why though ^^"

Don't get me wrong, WW is still a fine game and ultimatly was the reason why I bought the WiiU in 2013 (WWHD bundle). The HD version had gigantic improvements in terms of traveling, but it still too sooo long~ ...
All in all I really have to say, that WW is a good game not like PH/ST on DS (they were terrible ...) but comparing it with other Zelda games I dosn't have that many points that work in it's favor ^^"

I really hope, that Zelda U's world will be full of life as they said, so you have something to do everywhere you go and with such a gigantic map and the capabillitys of the WiiU they finally have evrything they need to make teh Zeldagame Wind Waker should have been (the Idea was great with a large living world), but therefore they need to fill the world with as many different things as they can and then add even more on top. ^^"
Sorry for the wall of text ^^"

Re: Eiji Aonuma Talks About his Journey to Becoming The Legend of Zelda’s Producer

Josaku

@Mahe
I could understand if you said that the Zelda series had some hicups because it certainly had one with Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglas/Spirit Tracks but more recent Zeldagames like Skyward Sword and A Link Between Worlds were fantastic games without a doubt.
I really hope, that he dosn't make the same mistakes he did in WW this time with ZeldaU, but as far as we have seen the game it looks like he is doing way better than in the gamecube are!

Re: Feature: Ten Upcoming Nindie eShop Games to Watch on Wii U and 3DS

Josaku

Seeing this makes me a bit excited, but worried at the same time ...
a huge ammount of these games are 2D platformers and all of them are in 2D .. this could turn some people off becasue Nintendo themselfes are doing 2D games as well ( sometimes)
I really hope that a few high quality 3D indie games will release/be announced in the next few months, just to get more variaty on the eshop ..
I also hope, that crossbuy becomes a thing all the multiplayt indies do (Nintendo themselfs too), but that's on another topic.

Re: Final Fantasy Creator Hironobu Sakaguchi Really Doesn't Like Direct Sequels

Josaku

This philosophy made games like FF6/7/8 but also games like FF12/13(1,2,3) ... I hope they get back on track and don't f*ck FF15 up as they did with 12 and all of 13 ....
But I have to say, I like the attitude of: "we make the game, so it dosn't leave questions that could hint at a sequal" I respect that and I know what they might be capabel of looking at their past ^^

Re: Former Rare Developers Will Show Off Their New Game In March

Josaku

These guys should make their game as good as they can, let Nintendo Publish it and after 2-3 more great games which are inspired by BK/Perfect Dark/Killer Instinct, but held back by the small size of the development team, they should let them be bought by Nintendo ....
Nintendo has the moneys, workforce and qualitycontroll to make truely worthwhile games and has a philosophy which seems to be somewhhat similar to the one Playtonic games seems to have.
But first off, I'm really excited what they will reveal at EGX ..... PLEASE LET IT BE A GLORIOUS B&K_INSPIRED 3D-Platformer/collectathon!! ^^

Re: Scram Kitty Developer Praises the Wii U and Mentions New Project

Josaku

I really loved Scram Kitty, which was really hard for me because I really don't like cats XD
I love their few on hardware/software-corelation and that having somewhat strange/quirky hardware which is functioning properly can push developers to be more creative.
I reaolly hope that their next game is as good as Scram Kitty and I will probobly buy it day 1 after this interview and their last game ^^"

Re: Iwata Remains Positive on the Future of the Wii U and 3DS Systems

Josaku

@IceClimbers
I think nearly no0body wants Nintendo/Gamefreak to make a mainseries Pokemon RPG on the WiiU and I think you know this. Pokemon on the WiiU would be the same as a homeconsole pokemon was since the N64, something like Pokemon Stadium/Coloseum or Pokemon Snap. Something that works with the mainseries and brings tons of extra things to the table to get more people to buy pokemon related games/hardware.
I really have to say that a Pokemon Snap or a Pokemon Stadium would be extreamly awesome on WiiU. For a Pokemon Snap which uses the WiiU gamepad as a camera and where you can freely roam multiple areas with different settings and pokemon would be really cool ^^
On the other hand, a Pokemon Stadium on WiiU could greatly increase the conectivity between 3DS and WiiU, just because they finally had a reason to work in it.

I really don't see a reason why there can't be a Pokemon Stadium/Snap on WiiU, they just make too much sense with the actual controller and the conectivity-options of the WiiU.

Re: Iwata Remains Positive on the Future of the Wii U and 3DS Systems

Josaku

@rockodoodle, I know so many people just like you and me, and one after another starts thinking about getting a WiiU after I bought it with MK8 ...
Seeing that "word of mouth" is still better advertisement for the WiiU than the actual advertisment chosen by Nintendo is a bit sad, because I really think, that it is a damn fine console with really fun and high quality games.
I just hope, that Nintendo gets a hold of themselfes when it comes to marketing Splatoon/XCX/ZeldaU because it would be a shame if these games would fly under the radar, especially Splatoon which looks really good ^^

Re: Iwata Remains Positive on the Future of the Wii U and 3DS Systems

Josaku

@BieberBlows ... that was a bit harsh don't you think? He has a point though, comparing the second year of one console to the first year of another isn't a fair comparison and the PS4/Xone will get a huge ammount of games after the first half of this year. . . which dosn't mean that all those games will be good, just like not every game coming to WiiU isnt good (the Letter).
I really don't know why he comes across as he is really invested in PS4/Xone having more/better games than WiiU when it is only partly true, but I digress.

Re: Iwata Remains Positive on the Future of the Wii U and 3DS Systems

Josaku

I really don't see why it wouldn't be possible for Nintendo to win back a chunck of the casual- and Xbox/PS-crowd. They deliver good games that are simply fun or awesome to play, while having really good controlls and more than enough content to justify their price.
Anybody saying the WiiU isn't worth it didn't look into it's library, there are games for nearly everybody on the system and so many of them are really good!
If they would just unify their NNID (WiiU/3DS) system and add crossbuy/play and a Trophy-system I for one would be more than pleased with the "non-gaming" features of the WiiU. Gamingwise I can only see one complant ... which is the lack of multiplayer in some games that could really benifit from it ... that's basicaly it.
So winning people over would be a question of marketing and I really hope that Nintendo steps upt their game in this segment .... They don't have to blow huge ammounts of money on marketing, they just need to advertise their system and games smart and in a way the consumer dosn't forget them and knows what it is and why it would be a great purchase.

Re: Clive 'N' Wrench Aims to Bring Back Those Rare 3D Platforming Memories on Wii U

Josaku

ok, I played the Demo, becasue the intentions of the game seemed appealing ...
I know that this is a alpha version of the game and I know that the artstyle and the "Banjo&Kazooie"-liklyness dictate many things but ...

The 3D models are just bad, The platforming feels really wired and the input seems to be delayed and feels therefore out of place. The music is somewhat interesting, but I knew why after the 3rd room. They don't want to make a game wich enters the same style and genre like Banjo&Kazooie, they want to make a game JUST like Banjo Kazooie ...

They are Borrowing many things from BK and DK64, which isn't bad imo, but they have to get to work and fix their platforming and movement in the game .... and hopefully the all of the 3D models ...

The sound-desing seems to be really minimal all around the game and is sometimes extremely annoying (the sharks).

On the plus side, they can make a really decent game out of this, if they just try to make something new instead of copying BK/DK64 in terms of level-desing.

TLDR: There are many things wrong with the demo, Controls feel arkward/delayed, 3D-models are ugly, platforming isn't really nice and it seems like they just want to make a straigt copy of BK/DK64 without the Copyright-infringement. But I think they can make a good gema out of it if they can create something new out of this and upgrade the visuals/controlls/leveldesing/sound, all in all they have a huge ammount of work in front of them, but which gamedeveloper dosn't?

Re: Video: Guess What, Super Mario Sunshine Looks Amazing Running At 60fps

Josaku

I have to say, that SMS would be cool as a remaster on WiiU, but I alway felt like SMS was a bit to monotonous in it's level desing. Shure, Fludd changed the platforming up quite a bit, but the complete painting of this game in a tropical island theme made it somewhat linear when it came to changing up the levels.
For me, SMS lacked the variety that SM64 and later installments had when it comes to Leveltypes and leveldesing.
For me it was just a bit to simple, but I think that's because they introduced Fludd and based very many puzzles around Water, paint and Fludd.

Re: Video: Hyrule Warriors Majora's Mask Pack DLC - Now With 100% More Tingle!

Josaku

I still don't understand why Lana got a Majora's Mas outfit . . . would have been way better just making the character and have him partake in the MM-Adventuremap ...
The MM-outfit just dosn't fit Lana, she is a whitemage and the Majora's Mask is one of the strongest, most deadliest artifacts you can find in all of Hyrule ... just sayn ^^"

Re: Nintendo Download: 27th November (Europe)

Josaku

Oh God YES! ^^
I was waiting eagerly of a release date of Pier Solar in Europe and now it's here! ^^
This game will be played until my thumbs are sore from mashing my controller, or until I have Smash U in my handy a day later ^^"

Re: The Nintendo Wii U Is Better Value For Money Than Xbox One Or PS4, Says Reggie

Josaku

I agree somewhat, the few exlusives on Xbone went multiplat (PC) after some time and it seems that this trend will continue. The PS4 on the other hand dose have some exclusives to it, which don't interest me so far, the only title I'm interested in is KH3 which we heard nearly nothing about up until now.
It seems like if you want to get the most games out of this console generation you should go WiiU/PC, atleast at the moment ^^

Re: Poll: Who'll Be Your Main amiibo Buddy?

Josaku

I would really like to see Ness as an Amiibo, but I think this would also mean a possibility for another Mother game ^^" . . .
I hope both gets released sometime in 2015, but I don't think that's quite possible . . . sadly ^^"
