The Soundtrack of this game seems to be simply fantastic, just like SM3DW or MK8. Counting in the visuals which look just awesome and friggen Toad as the main Character, this game is a day one purchase for me! I just love it ^^
The Only thing I want from this game is that feeling you got in Waverace when you were jumping and diving straight into the water. If the game can replicate this, I have absolutly nothing to add to it ^^"
So~ after a long time . . . I am asuming that there is extra content in the WiiU version of Super Smash Bros. because the 3DS has Smash Run and I'm hoping that the WiiU will get something extra as well. I know they said they were trying to make the 2 games as similar as possible, but I shure hope they didn't make the WiiU version exactly like the 3DS version just without the smash run and hiher resolution and FR. I would be really dissapointed if they did, but would probably still enjoy it though ^^"
The moment when you'r not interested in the 3DS version because of the WiiU version and the extra content in it . . . And I don't want to "smash" my circlepad on my 3DS ^^"
@Soundtoxin That's exactly what I thought all along and with this confirmation of the games being nearly the same, I can see the 3DS version eating up the sales of the WiiU version big time. At this point I know that Smash will help the WiiU, but I doubt that it will do wonders for it, a small bump during the Holidays and a slight increase of the baseline but not much more.
I will get this the first day it releases on the WiiU in europe ^^ never got the PC version, because I wanted it on my WiiU, I hope that my WiiU menue will be big enough to fit all those awesome games ^^
I think this is really cool. The gave everyone at NOW the opportunity to donate and everyone who donmated got a raffelticket to dump Ice cold water on one of their bosses ^^ simply genius ^^
OK . . Normally I'm not very happy about paid DLC, BUT this is something I wished for since MK8 launched and I really don't care if it is paid DLC as long as it dosn't cost another 60ā¬. I normally don't like the Idea of DLC, because most of them are more or less requierd to get the full expirience (It feels that way in certain titels) but in case of MK8 I have the feeling that as long as it dosn't totoly unbalance the game with really op characters or carts it's an OK.
Reading this article I thought about checking out other 3rd party publishers commited to the WiiU/3DS . . . but because I'm not that good at remembering things I can't remember any names. A 3rd Party section for WiiU/3DS would be really cool for checking out what the commited 3rd partys are doing at the moment . . . but this could only be me and my wussy brain ^^"
OK . . . This game will be bought on the 19.th of September, unpacked and jammed into my WiiU right away for the Upcomming LAN Party I was planing with my friends ^^
I for exsample was really into FPS games until World at War . . . this game was really good. I played a few after it and it felt . . . sluggish at best . . . the new one looks like a mashup from GTA and COD . . . two game which I had no interest in recent years . . . so~ no thanks. I have to say that it is "bad" news for nintendo that this game won't come to WiiU but it seems that Nintendo is trying to cater more and more genres themselfs and I really hope they succeed with this, but I also hope that they will focus their next console a bit less about innovating an all new gaming expirience and new ways to play but focus a bit more about their image and advertisment, which includes building a machine which is at least on par with the competition. But overall this is not that bad, loosing a game is always bad, even if it is just COD.
The Xbox360 game was . . . rerally not a good game, the soundtrack was cool though. I really hope they come a little closer to the first one in the next installment . . I doubt it though.
Loving these numbers, but I would love it even more if it would be released in the EU already . . . but they are getting more and more likeable with each passing aktion they make. first the website where you can see what is left to do for the releas in the EU/Australia/Japan and now this. I really like them ^^
It's cool that this game is coming to 3DS, but I passed the link to this Kickstarter Campaign around to some of my friends owning a PS4 and nobody was excited about this, because it was pixalated. I don't know if this is a general feeling of PS4 owners but if it is, this game won't sell much on PS4 and I think this is a really cool looking game with a fine story as far as I can see.
@SetupDisk I think it's because of the PS4 bundle it came with, but I have to say that Knack is not a very good game. It was fun for about half an hour and then became really boring for the rest of the time I played it, so watch out for used game areas overflowing with copies of Knack
might pick it up, but the las reviews I saw were a bit negative about this because the game seems to use cheap deaths to hinder your progress, but I don't know if this is good or bad with this game ^^"
I didn't like this news, but I was expecting them because of the lack of screenshots. I will still buy this game on WiiU when it comes out because I want to see how they implement the Gamepad and I don't want a PS4 because the games don't look that appealing. So I'll just wait and see how this shapes up ^^
The thing is, I understand why they went both ways with smash, everybody wants to make money with their product, but except from that the 3DS port dosn't make a ton of sense. Yes the smash run and the streetpass options are great and cool, but making a follow up for smash 4 for a handheld system would have made more sense to me. I know that smash3DS plays really good and it fets the Buttonscheme of the 3DS, but Smash for me was always something I played with friends on a homeconsole and this was what made smash so special for me when combined with a great character roaster, good controlling combat and fun stages. I can't immagine playing this on a handheld with friends over WiFi or streetpass, this just seems so disconnected from everything smash has been for me since the N64. That said, I think it's obvious that I probobly will buy both versions to show my support, but will mostly play the Wii U version, because of the multiplayer expirience.
Why the heck are all the playable character confirmed female? Not that I don't enjoy a huge Charakterroaster, but if nearly every charakter is female I think more of "fanservice" than of a good game . . . Sorry but unless Ganondorf, Girahim, Darunia, Fierc Diety, Horror Kid and Tingle are Playable I wont get more hype going for me (although my hypelvl for this game is over 9000 ^^") I really hope that at least some of those characters are included in this game ^^
one thing that lets me step away from this . . . the screensize. . . playing SNES or NES games on such a small screen has to be so hard on your eyes. I can't see myselfe buying or supporting this because of the formfactor and the fact that ROMs are illegal in most cases
Cross-buy could only be pulled off (including every Titel on the VC and eshop) with a sort of unified OS on the Homconsole and the handheld and I really hope that this will be Nintendo's next generation of consoles, which operate with the same OS but different hardware. Would be cool to have two systems that could connect and talk with each other very easy. Would defenitly make organizing your games really easy.
I think that DLC's for mario kart or SSB4 are the way to go and I think that a sponsored DLC for mario kart works fine to, but not for games like Zelda/Starfox or Dokey Kong, because these are games which play in a setting where nothing like Mercedes or Coca Cola could be unlike Mario Kart or SSB4 where it could be possible (if done right). Not every franchise owned by Nintendo should get sponsored DLC only those few where the setting is right so they don't look totoly out of place. Immagine a DLC for Zelda sponsored by Coca Cola or something like that . . . I wouldn't want that.
I played minecraft since it's alpha stage and I got the Xbox360 version wich disapointed me a little bit because it controlled not that good, but that's because of the controller and I knew that before I bought it. I would really like to see Minecraft coming to Wii U and I would definitly buy that version as well, because everything that bothered me on the Xbox360 version would be handled right on the wii U just because of that second screen on the controller. (I'm thinking about the inventory and the menus in generel)
For me this is really cruel now! . . . just announce a MM remake . . . MM:3D or MM:HD . . . dosen't matter to me I would buy the game if it came to the N64 with an additional cartridg to help the system produce HD-grafics . . . but I need this remake in my life!! . . . ok to stop the drama . . . MM3D/HD has to happen!
This whole thing is . . . just getting rediculous . . . I mean, it's Nintendo's right to do this, and the affiliate programm could turn out really good, if the big N would provide affiliated content creators with the games they want to make a "Let's Play" of, after they signed in for it and got the part.
Nontheles, this whole situation is getting "hyped" and most people think it's a move by Nintendo, but they don't see that this is actually something to smile about, because Nintendo is opening up to youtube, before this they just wanted all the ad-revenue from videos which featured a Nintendo IP and now they want to share it, so why all this fuss about something getting better?

Re: Nintendo's Plan for "Redefining the Definition of Video Game Platforms" Around Two Years Away
I acually think, that a hybrid of a handheld and a homeconsole would be an even greater failiure than the Wii U is supposed to be, because you had to decide if you would pack strong processing power in this device, making it more static and bund to it's position (a home console) or producing a console which is a truly handheld system which can't have that much power, sacraficing the possibillity of launching true HD games, with enourmous Worlds and insane ammounts of NPCs on one sceen, on it.
Therefore they should stick to the two "seperate" pieces of hardware, bound together by a unified architecture (not the same to differentiate the systems, but not to different to be able to easaly port a game from one system to the other) and a unified personcentered ID (NNID with crossbuy and crossplay) the Homeconsole should work as the "power HUB" and let the handheld connect to it as some kind of hybrid of a "gameboyplayer"-like thing and a controller so you can play your handheld games on your TV and vice versa if you'r at home or are connected to another Nintendo Home console via your NNID.
The last thing I would not mind to state about this "next gen" nintendo consokles is, that they should not try to reinvent the wheel whith it, they should focus on things like system integrity, fun gameplay, unified IDs and games that can be played on both consoles by buying one version not like SSB4 and of course building a machine which is not underpowered, BECAUSE no 3rd party developer (except for indies) want to code for a system which restrains their "intellectual freedom" by something as simple as computing power or forcing them to code in a manner to actually use less power of the CPU and get the same results (which is possibble if your code isn't a big pile of steaming s#*t like this thing dice calls code) The gamepad adds tons of possibillitys but is not utillized because it's a hassle to code for it (stating the mindset of 3rd partys)
