Re: Video: TreeFall Studios Releases Its First Ever Developers Conference

Jordie

They're getting kinda better, albeit with teeny-tiny babysteps and considering where they started off from...

The thing is, these "games" just shouldn't be on the eShop. Shovelware incarnate. There are tons of developers out there making actual playable, good games which may never see the light of day. I want those. Not this.

Re: Pokémon Shuffle is a Match-Three Game With Slightly Worrying Micro-Transactions

Jordie

I have Trozei/Link, so not gonna get this. Besides, I'm through with microtransaction games, they fail so hard. I like a casual game from time to time but I don't want it to remind me every five seconds that I can pay, PAY, PAAAAYYYY for hearts, gems, whatever.

I just hope the eShop won't be overrun with these sort of games. My console is for gaming, not for ads.

Re: Shantae And The Pirate's Curse Delayed Into 2015 For Europe

Jordie

Was fully expecting this. *shrugs

I can't be bothered to be mad at delays. This is Europe, it happens (regularly), deal with it. As long as the localisation is fine and there's no added bugs or the cost rises disproportionally or whatever, I can live with that. Besides, my backlog could last me the next five years.

Re: Guide: Everything You Need To Know About Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire's Secret Bases

Jordie

So far I'm really liking the secret bases. I haven't done much with my own base as I have yet to finish the main story, but once I'm done with that (and maybe Delta-episode), I'll definitely look for a new (better) location and see how I can expand it. I already have the stairs, so I'm looking forward to having a second floor. ^_^

Besides, it's really nice that you get all the benefits from battling other trainers in secret bases (EXP, Affection benefits actually working unlike online) but none of the drawbacks like having to heal or revive your pokemon afterward.
