Square Enix has kindly launched a trailer covering the new batch of DLC content for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call that will be launched in Japan this week.
The most exciting part is that four songs from RPG classics Chrono Trigger and The World Ends With You are arriving, as well as a track each from Final Fantasy VIII and Romancing SaGa 3.
Here is the DLC list below for the songs that will hopefully be making its way west:
- Liberi Fatali (Final Fantasy VIII)
- The Last Battle (Romancing SaGa 3)
- World Revolution (Chrono Trigger)
- Wind Scene (Chrono Trigger)
- Twister (The World Ends With You)
- Calling (The World Ends With You)
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is available exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS and players can also download a free demo version from the 3DS eShop. Check out the DLC trailer below to see if it hits all the right notes for you.

Wha? No Frog's Theme? D:
Love Twister and Calling! Chrono Trigger is awesome too!
Romancing SaGa 3 - I think I want that more than almost anything in the Square Enix backcatalog (Proper English release).
LIBERI FATALI!
Also, I got SpotPass Notification that the songs are available in Europe starting today.
TWEWY deserves a sequel so bad.
Now more music especially from TWEWY and Chrono Trigger makes me want to buy this game!
I opened the game like a week ago and I love it so much. Playing with buttons is awesome and fresh. It even made me go online to play!
looks like like the last one that I bought. I see no reason to go out and purchase another game with micro transactions all over the place.
I'm loving the fact that they're branching out into more series. They don't need their own game but glad they're getting some love.
You had me at chrono trigger...
That Twister and Calling music makes me want a TWEWY for 3DS! Come on, Square Enix. Make it happen!
@ikki5 As someone who also has the last one, I think Curtain Call is well worth it. You get over 200 song from the beginning (as opposed to the 77ish of the original, and none of them are just intro/outro taps this time). The new quest mode is infinitely better than the dark notes thing in the first entry that only had 10 possible songs for each stage (whole library is possible this time), and there are online features.
If you went physical last time, I recommend downloading it - it's perfect for just playing a song every now and then
Is it loads harder to do the ultimate songs using the button control method ?
I played the demo a bit and I don't see how I will ever be able to do the Ultimate ones with buttons.
I don't care if it's a poor translation, "Wind Scene" is the greatest song title of all time!
Awesome, keep'em comin'
@unrandomsam: I do fine on ultimate using only the button control scheme. The game is so much harder using the stylus in my opinion.
Finally some TWEWY, I've been waiting for this! More Chrono and Romancing SaGa can't hurt, either...
Once these are available in Europe I'll download TWEWY songs and previously released Bravely Default tracks. Much better than any FF song.
TWEWY..
DANG IT! How long to I have to resist getting this game? I have the original and was thinking I don't care about this one since it's just more of the same stuff...but it's becoming less and less the case each passing day...
Fantastic news! I didn't expect more Chrono Trigger, and I'm even more excited now. Keep the hits comin', Squeenix!
Nice to see TWEWY making a cameo. Since the second performance dlc, I been back on playing Theatrhythm. Not as much as the first 2 month of release due to Fantasy Life and Smash Bros but still a decent amount.
Just noticed that the songs are already available in Europe. Downloading Twister right now.
YES! Liberi Fatale (About time too) and more importantly more Chrono Trigger tracks, all the Romancing Saga music tracks so far have been winners too, so going to DL that too.
I will genuinely buy this game just for Twister and Calling, as well as any other future The World Ends with You DLC songs, if they get released in the west.
