Thank you very much, Mr. Sakurai, your work is fantastic, but please promise not to risk your health any more than you've already done. If that includes stepping away from Smash then so be it.
I want to say I can't wait to get my hands on one of those things legitimately and experience the story behind it for myself...
...and then I remember they'll probably do it through some code distribution or whatever they come up with which I can almost never get my hands on in time. I love you, Gamefreak, but please do a wifi distibution for this. (Pretty please?)
Exactly the score I expected. I really hate artificial padding, especially when they force it on gamers. I'm happy to explore, I always played Sonic much more like a platformer, but what about gamers who like to play Sonic for speed runs?
For what it's worth, I still think it's better than Sonic Lost World for 3DS, but that isn't saying much.
Nope, still not buying even if they come to Europe. I'm happy with that one Zelda theme I bought and the free Shovel Knight and Sonic Boom theme I got, but my money goes to games only. I guess I'm one of those who don't see the point in buying more than one when they don't really do anything (and cost a whooping 2 €!).
That being said, I think the first theme is really sweet.
I think this might be one of those games that are really challenging yet you want to go back to it because, between the smooth gameplay and the upbeat music, it's way too much fun to set it aside. I keep recalling the FLUDD-less stages in Mario Sunshine which were sometimes unbelievably frustrating but the awesome acapella music kept me going back even after I got through them. It was that much fun. Hoping this will have the same feeling.
I really, really, really want to go, but I don't even know for sure where I'll live next year around that time... and I'd probably have to travel around 400-500 km. And with those prices, that's quite a risk to take if I can't go. Decisions, decisions...
Most everyone loved Black and White so having a bite more mature content is fine IMO. Just not too much, the series should always be recognisable as what it is and always has been.
I loved when I went into that museum in OR and they explained a few basic things about marine biology (haven't played the original so don't know if they did the same there), they've done something similar in almost every other Pokémon game I've played. It's always good to make an effort to cater to and teach children with the games, not just adults, but I also think it's completely okay to confront them with more mature content if done right. And Nintendo/Gamefreak usually know how to do that IMO, so no worries.
This is very worrying. I hope they work fast on a solution for this for everyone out there who has encountered that problem. And with Smash of all things...
It's crazy what people can do with that program on the DSi/3DS. Awesome work, though. I can't verify for myself as I don't have PetCom on my 3DS but judging from the comments it's pretty good.
IMO this it not worth supporting on Kickstarter. I'd rather throw my money at some new indie game I'd like to play. That being said, I'm not against the idea or anything, it's just not something I'd want. I like my handheld games on a... well, handheld, it's not just about the graphics but they were made for playing on the go. That's why I'm one of those who cannot understand why GBA games are on the Wii U shop and not the 3DS.
Hm, might get Legend of Dark Witch somewhere down the line, but right now there's nothing for me here. Wish I had a Wii U to make use of that Ducktales discount. Oh well, onto next week...
please don't listen to the haters. You got some pretty, pretty bad games the last few decades and it's really not your fault. It doesn't mean that, one day, someone who cares and knows what they're doing won't come along and fix you. Because they will. They'll make you a game that's worthy of who you and your friends are. So don't you lose hope, Sonic. I know I won't.
It looks very much like a Wii game... which doesn't have to be bad. If it plays well and isn't overprized then that's okay, I don't care too much about visuals. We'll see.
the original unreleased Wii version will be included as a free bonus in the first run of the Wii U version in Japan This would be nice for western audiences as well, but I wonder if they are essentially the same game...?
That is so awesome I don't even... O_O I still prefer the Master Sword they did (and the keyblade), but it's nice to see that they're making even more Zelda weapons. They should try the Majoras Mask swords in 2015.
Was pretty sure this'd get a 9, but I'm actually happy with that. Also, I don't think it's unfair to give both Smash releases the same score, they are (almost) as good as they can be on their respective platforms IMO.
Thing is that the 3DS version could've been really great if they'd put just a little more time and thought into it. The overall idea of the gameplay encouraging both exploring and speeding through levels is exactly what I want from a Sonic game... except that they made exploring mandatory. And boring. And the whole game just feels bland, there are next to no bosses, it's too short etc. I could on.
The Wii U version on the other hand... let's not talk about that.
Great week! I'll be getting Omega Ruby, not sure about Persona Q though, I'd like to try it but I've never had the chance to play any Persona game and it would be nice to know about all the little details and references they make. Also, not owning a Wii U gets harder every day... T_T

I feel relieved, actually...

Re: Weirdness: Defective Fox and Villager amiibo Now Appear on eBay
I kinda understood the Samus one because it looked cool, but this?
Despite that, I'm enjoying the craze. It's fun how everyone complains about the lack of quality and yet is provides us with that much hilarity.

Re: Video: Nintendo Shows Off a Series of New Third-Party 3DS HOME Themes in Japan
@Shambo Same here, I have my original Zelda 3DS that came with Ocarina of Time, so of course I had to get at least one Zelda theme.
Re: Weirdness: Legless Peach amiibo Now Up For Sale
Pff, she doesn't need legs, she's perfectly fine even without. Besides, in most games we don't even see her legs, do we?
