This one cracked me up on amazon. I mean really Nintendo didnt release enough information??!! They announced 4 pokemon games on one day clearly mentioning the mainline game is coming in 2019.

"What a waste. I thought this was gonna be a proper Pokémon game but with the Go type of capturing.. No.. the capturing is pretty much the Whole Game. This was gonna be my first proper Pokémon game after seeing how the old games played and got excited for the pre-release. Nintendo didn't release enough info about the game to realise it was this crap. Less than 30 mins and I am returning for refund."

If you think this is bad wait till Smash comes out and the Waluigi and the whataboutmycharacter whiners, start leaving negative and one star reviews. Sigh.

Sad fact that the anonymity of the internet breeds these types of toxic people. If you dont like it fine but let the rest of us enjoy it. Word of mouth and genuine reviews will win the day.

Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu all weekend long

Absolutely love it, mine came yesterday and I was up far later into this morning that I should have been, catching pokemon. So much nostalgia from the gameboy years. Pokeball plus is fun, albeit noisy at night. My partner didn't appreciate the noise from catching pokemon at 2am lol. It's a great foray for those new to the series, and also a great revisiting for seasoned pokemon fans.
That's what games are supposed to be about right, fun!!

I've had managers like this and also had clients behave like this while I was onsite. More commonplace than we would all like to admit.
From Nintendo I expect a swift and quiet replacement to be done in Russia, as this is definitely not the image of the Nintendo we know and love. It's a shame one person can be so disruptive, but sadly adults in working life are albeit sometimes worse than children.

Just an FYI for those actually with the game, as opposed to those whining. You can only get Mew from the pokeball plus, after you have battled your rival. The communication option in the menu is greyed out until your first battle with him/her.

I'm guessing if you have say two pokeball +'s you can have one paired with Pokemon Go and one paired with Pokemon Let's Go?

Own a day 1 switch, but also getting the Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu switch bundle, arriving tomorrow. Big pokemon fan, and had over £100 of amazon vouchers collecting dust so grabbing it for just shy of £220

Will definitely be getting all three, spent many hours on Trine 2 on the Wii U and loved it.

Mariokart 8 Deluxe hanging in there like stubborn child refusing to go to bed 1 year and 8 months after release. Game has some legs.

The wireless has been fine for me so far, with online gaming, but it's an option, not a requirement

It's a fair price, and worth it tbh. Who knows what surprises they have in order.

20 million units should be achievable. Christmas sales bouyed by Smash & Pokemon will certainly push them over 13-15million sold for the second year, leaving the last quarter to be mopped up by Fire emblem, Daemon X and a few others. Perfectly doable in my opinion.

Pretty sure most people's home broadband & line rental and/or mobile phone contracts, are more expensive per month, than Nintendo online is per year, so please stop the moaning about the price.

The game stuttering at times has been intermittent for me, the biggest annoyance has been the initial landing, where the textures haven't loaded so I'm running into what I think is a door and it's just a solid hot mess of a building, and I get taken out. Despite this, I still play it more on the Switch than the PC.

Meh, give me Ninja Gaiden Razor's Edge instead.

I hope it includes a figurine, amiibo or something to set it apart from buying the game, controller and adaptor seperately. Box is nice, but is that alone worth considering this?

Having just gotten into Adventure mode and enjoying it, all I can say is Praise Jesus Amen Hallelujah. Quick retry is long overdue.

And yet another article of little substance, about an industry based on risk, filled with analysts and stockbrockers with little understanding of the companies they invest in and analyse. The best line in this poor article was, "A lack of new game announcements was reportedly to blame" and then you link to one of your own articles which is opinion not fact. I literally cant even with this...

@WiltonRoots Ah you can easily tell mate, the trolls roam in packs. Just look at the join date of some of them and the number of comments they have made. The most recent addition to the troll brigade joined in Jun and has made over 500 comments already mostly negative. This site is like catnip to them.

Pretty much sums up some of the comments on this thread and many others on this site, when the word Nintendo is mentioned.

@UmbreonsPapa If people actually read the article and realised this has nothing to do with Nintendo. It's about amazon taking preorders for something that hasn't even got a definitive release date. Instead it's just turned into a thread for people to moan about the online service and anything else that tickles their fancy. The usual and how they don't like it, its too expensive, they don't want NES games, they want to play online for free, they want cloud saves, its not like PSN or Xbox live. All the while, there is more to be announced between now and September. It just gets tiring the merry go round of bile on these forums.

I love how people are blaming Nintendo for Amazon putting up a preorder on their website. Makes perfect sense to me.....not.
It's simple wait till launch date and purchase. Send your complaints to Amazon for a shameless money grab 2 months before the product is supposed to launch.

Day one for me. Have it on PC, but also getting it on Switch due to the fact I can also play it on the daily commute.

But still no games coming to Switch according to some people.

Sure there will be more amazon deals on sd cards before xmas, for those not getting physical
