@Smithicus Just for accuracy. The story you are referring to was a man who was brandishing a 6 inch blade/knife, which was fashioned after the Master Sword from Zelda. He was spotted on CCTV walking down a busy high street with the blade/knife in his hands. He also approached police with the blade/knife visible in his hands. It was not a toy in any sense of the word, and he was promptly arrested as it is a criminal offence to to carry a bladed weapon in public in the UK.
He rightly got a custodial prison sentence for being a prat.

I use the AVerMedia Live Gamer ULTRA 2.1 (GC553G2) for my Switch 2. Originally bought it for PS5 captures, but works perfectly well for the Switch 2.
I also use the AVerMedia Live Gamer MINI GC311 - 1080p60 for OG Nintendo Switch captures.

Forspoken was £9.99 on Amazon at one point this weekend. At that price I bought it haha.
Played and completed Hogwarts Legacy on PC, but I did pick it up on Switch as I was curious what dark magic they used to get it to run. It's playable but with the expected downgrades considering the target hardware.

Great start for Pikmin. Can't wait to see the Japanese numbers on Thursday, they are going to be very impressive, prob around 550-600k.

Hehe no worries. You need the Mystic Helm, Ember Trousers and Climbers Shirt. Then a quick trip to Hateno Dye Shop and you're all good. Mystic Helm is a bit of a slog as you have to give Koltin 46 Bubbul Gems in total to get it.

Such a great game TOTK. I'm 185 hours in, just got all the items I need to cosplay around Hyrule as Super Saiyan 3 Goku. Happy days lol.

@Drmarioland They don't. Production of the 3DS ended in Sept 2020. Just seems to be 3DS's that the stores reporting to Famitsu, have left in stock.

Bought that limited edition without hesitation. XBC3 has one of the best videogame soundtracks ever made.

@lemonjellydude I second this. The customer service is atrocious. I tried ordering and got the age verification issue. Tried different browsers, internet connections, even had a friend try in the east of england. No VPN or ad blockers. Chat was hopeless. Tried support via email and all I got was "we will escalate to the relevant department and get back to you". I gave up and it's out of stock.

Hogwarts Legacy is an awesome game. Having so much fun with it on PC. Can't wait till it comes to the Switch, being able to play that on the go will be a treat. 😁

@WiltonRoots Exactly this. I'm envious of brand new Switch owners. The library is ridiculous. Myself I have backlog of games across PC and Switch. I can just about manage two games at time as I'm juggling FE Engage & Hogwarts Legacy atm.

The first half of the year has first and third party games announced and dated. They'll reveal the majority of games for the latter half (July - Dec) in the next Nintendo Direct. They rarely show their hand early bar a few mishaps like MP4 & Bayo3.
Plenty of games to keep people occupied until summer, not taking into consideration backlogs. As for hardware, I'd hope for a Tears of the Kingdom OLED and possible a Mario movie themed one, but that's about all I would reasonably expect until the new system is released in the future.

As of now, TheGameCollection and Amazon UK are both showing preorders available. Amazon is £34.99 (payment on dispatch) and TheGameCollection is £29.95 (payment on preorder). Happy hunting.

I bought the Revali one from F4F initially, but then I realised if you wait until after launch, they eventually appear on the My Nintendo Store at a reasonable price. But nice for the collection.

I gave up after they went out of stock in under 5mins, after the random drop in the late afternoon. Ordered from Amazon Japan, should be here next week.

You know what, I low-key like this Splatoon 3 Edition. The colours on those Joy-Cons pop, the designs on the dock and the actual Switch are pretty sick and that Pro Controller is 👌🏾

Unlikely to be a successor until at least 2025. When it starts selling less than 10m units a year and the first party software output begins to fall, you might hear about the Switch 2 or whatever it will be called. 5 years into it's life and the Switch is still selling 20m+ units a year, why on earth would you release a successor? Let the Switch Pro/Successor rumours die with dignity, too many banging games coming out 😁

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has clearly been ready to go for some time. The fact they are moving up the release date in order to (and I'm assuming here), make space for something else just confirms that Nintendo will happily sit on finished game until they find a release slot they feel is appropriate.
I am here for it.

These F4F figures etc always come to Europe & the UK eventually, normally on Zavvi. I'd wait until early-mid 2022, probaby be cheaper as well.

Bought the white one, managed to delete my Pokemon Let's go Pikachu save data during the transfer . But enjoying the OLED, the screen, the audio and QOL improvements. Kick-stand is leaps and bounds better. That's 5 switches in my house now, OG, Let's Go Edition, Animal Crossing Edition, Lite & OLED.

Akira Twins from Astral Chain would be absolutely amazing as the final smash character.

But whoever the final smash character turns out to be, sadly a small but vocal subset of the fanbase will complain and moan.

@Aurumonado Absolutely the same here, I was watching it with friends and I was screaming over Teams, "it's Astral Chain 2 omg omg". Then Bayo just swooped in and I was ok ok, you trolled us good. lol. Still so excited for Bayo 3. Maybe they are teasing Astral Chain 2. Still holding out hope for Akira Twins as final Smash character.

I had one back in the day, saved up for it, imported it and had many a great days playing gamecube games and watching dvds. Then my younger brother decided to sneak into my room one day to play it. Plugged a uk power supply into it, instead of the stepdown transformer and boom. Gone.
Still burns to this day ;(
