@syrek24 Thats why you dont mate. Like the trolls before them, ignore and dont feed them. Eventually they get bored or banned and move onto another site. "You cant convince some people they are on fire even when their hair is burning".
Nintendo should buy them, make them an in-house studio and expand the team with all those $billions they have sitting in the bank. Hands down the best third party studio supporting at the moment.
@PanurgeJr It is good that "this" game isn't coming to the Switch. They handled the first one extremely poorly to the point it was unplayable. This time it appears they haven't even bothered. Why should support be given to companies who can't be bothered to make decent Switch games. Numerous other third party studios have proven capable of making good switch games and deservedly are supported (Panic Button for example).
@kappa_krey or simply in addition to that sales went up as a result of E3 and the great lineup between now and christmas. It's multifaceted not down to one factor.
@KratosGodOfWar Yeah good luck with that mate.
Being the third most valuable company in Japan with a market value of approximately $85billion, and profits of $1.6billion for financial year ending Apr 2018, third party any day now mate. Keep reaching.
@WiltonRoots Preach, bro, preach. Armchair analysts pretty much sums them up. I care about games coming, of which we have a truckload in the next 6 months. Unless you work at Nintendo and have insider knowledge its assnine to assume you know what is coming. And much like last year, there will be plenty more surprises and reveals. Same thing happened last year at E3, people moaned oh nintendo didn't show anything, or didn't show enough. E3 has long been the least important Games show of the year. We had a direct after E3 last year that announced a bunch of games that weren't mentioned at E3 2017, yet the whole nintendoomed nonsense was regurgitated across the internet.
@NightBeast There's seems to be a bout of selective amnesia going around the forums mate. Seems people totally forgot a bunch of games revealed in the Direct yesterday
@MoonKnight7 "That's all well and good, but I think this stock drop has more to do with what's coming out before then, which isn't much at the moment." That's what you said, so which is it, the lack of games, lack of first party or lack of third party? We remain confused in your lack of clarity.
@1UP_MARIO ROFL, dude I literally can't with you. I implore you rewatch the Smash videos and actually pay attention this time. Or simply don't buy it and let the rest of us enjoy this brand new game.
@MoonKnight7 Yup nothing coming out between now and Dec. -.-

Too all those saying Smash won't sell units based on the Wii U. Wii U sales actually increased dramatically upon the release of Smash, but comparing the Wii U with approx 13million units sold over it's lifetime, with the Switch approx 18million units sold in 12months is ridiculous. There are probably a huge chunk of people who haven't bought a Switch simply because they were waiting for Smash to be released, and the release date during the holiday season is a smart move. Expect Smash/Switch bundles and promos and a big push, and a big increase in sales.
@1UP_MARIO It's thinking like this that makes me just sigh. The amount of time spent on Smash yesterday clearly showing it's a new game. The level of detail they went into about the diminishing returns on dodging, the art style, the animation, the music, the stages, the changes in fighting style of staple characters like Link and Ganondorf, even down to the different voices. Yet it's still Smash Wii U to you.
"Breaking News", this week share prices went down. Next week more "Breaking News" share prices go up. Sigh Call me when you have something newsworthy to report. Back to playing Hollow Knight.
@WiltonRoots Haha, mate I just switch off when they moan and look forward to all the great games for 2018. I'm going to be so broke after yesterday's direct and all the games they haven't announced yet.
Here's just a small (pun intended) list of games coming this year and a few for next year. Some were unannounced previously but little gems like Wasteland 2, Mario Party, DBZ Fighterz were a nice surprise in the direct. And yet there will be more announcements in the coming months, but you want everything shown at E3, when the industry has moved away from doing so. And heaven forbid Nintendo showcase their biggest and most anticipated first party game and devote time to it. It's literally Day one and you are throwing your toys out of the pram.

You know what I can't with all these people moaning about the Direct. Nintendo literally said they will be focusing primarily on Smash and games releasing this year. So if something wasn't shown it's safe to say it's not being released this year. It's like going to watch Jurassic Park, then complaining about there being too many dinosaurs shown. I literally cannot even.
My pre-order shipped already from Nintendo, ready for Friday, can't wait. Enjoy the dynasty warrior series and sunk so many hours into Fire Emblem Warriors, so will definitely be enjoying this.
@dres Accept the things you cannot change, and change the things you can. Your rant is both tired and pointless. If having to download extra for Wolf 2 is a deal breaker then so be it, but for the rest of us who it isn't, we will be enjoying the game. Some of us aren't blind to the shortcomings of some aspects of the Switch, the difference is we accept them, and don't let that stop us from enjoying the fun of gaming. After all isn't fun what it's supposed to be about.
I'm just surprised people are still complaining about additional downloads, knowing full well big games like Wolf2 will require it on the Switch until the 64GB cards come out and inevitably fall in price. I mean it's not like we didn't see this with Doom. Either way lucky enough to have a plenty of space on my SD card and day one for me, regardless.
@TearyIsaac
Interested to know how you managed to get a WOW install at 35GB. My install with every expansion from Burning crusade up to Legion, now stands at 47GB.
No issue for me here, have a 400GB SD card, and fully expected there to be an additional download for Wolfestein 2. It's the nature of modern gaming now, day one patches, downloads and updates.
Still hooked on Attack On Titan 2. This game seriously is an addiction and playing on the daily commute is heaven. Also Star Trek Birth of the Federation on PC and a little bit of WoW in between.
I think people take the term "Soapbox" far too literally. Besides the usual trolls and suspects who don't ever have anything positive to say, people seem to either be disappointed or content about the details released so far. Who knows maybe Nintendo will release more details and/or features over the coming months. September is 4 months away and alot can evolve between now and then. If online is not for you that's fine, but I'd rather wait until I can try the actual service before breaking out the virtual torches and pitchforks.

This from the article:

Yeah. That's true.
Trinen: There has never been a port.
Think that puts an end to the nonsense being spewed about Smash bros and ports.
