I don’t even get where the forced diversity complaints are coming from here.
The game is set in Africa so of course the main character is going to be African, what were people really expecting?

I had no interest despite liking the show until I saw the developer.
Now I’ll definitely check them out at some point.

I see some saying 30 on a 20 year old game but it’s not, it’s 30 on a new game because this is a remake.

I don't understand why even leave them in in the first place only to remove them during a later patch?
While it doesn't matter towards the game as a whole or to me on a personaly level I don't like it on a purely anti-censorship level.

This is cool but unfortunately I’ve lost all interest in this game after the numerous delays.
The last one announced the day before it was supposed to drop was the final straw for me.

Doesn't look like my kinda game at all so an easy pass.
Only game from the four Xbox are porting to other consoles is Hi-Fi Rush tbh.
I find they have a very much "not for me" exclusives line-up.

£20 seems way too much for whats on offer here.

They should have just waited to "preserve" Switch games, its not like they need preserving right now anyway.

@ArcticSin The main reason 99% do so is because it’s free.
Anime for example is easily accessible and pretty cheap but there’s dozens of illegal streaming sites up.
For every person who buys the game then emulates on better hardware there’s 99 others who emulate with zero intention of buying the cart also.

The poked the bear by emulating stuff way too soon even before the official release in some cases.

Some people really need to learn that just because the method is legal(emulation) it doesn't make using it for piracy legal.
Otherwise piracy wouldn't even be a thing, all methods used to pirate are legal it just the act that isn't.

The best cow on Switch is yer mum playing Animal Crossing.

@Porky I played it at launch and it was unpopular then, I imagine that only got worse as the years went on.

Glad I'm not the only.one who.found this slightly overrated.
The visuals were amazing but the story kinda sucked and battles dragged on far longer than they should have. 7/10 for me.

I suspect we won’t see any reviews for a while yet.

I gotta be honest my time with the demo kinda put me off getting this at full price.
While I’m not a graphics snob by any stretch the way this game looks and performs is just too distracting for me to get fully immersed.
It genuinely looks like a Wii HD port in places.

@Exerion76 Judging from ArtePiazza developing this Square Enix were the main force behind who made this remaster.
Also the developer behind the excellent SO Second Story R wasn’t Square either but Gemdrops

I’d much rather pay $60 now than wait a year or longer to save myself $20.
Waiting for sales on stuff you want is dumb imo, the little extra is worth not having to wait months more.

$20 seems very steep for whats on offer and more so when you consider what its coming up against on the same console, I mean Resi 4 is the same price for a much longer and better game.

@PinderSchloss Maybe NL should start reviewing games without playing them too, saves time.

The more expensive model's extra price would pay for itself after a handful of physical purchases.
Physical games are usually £10-£20 cheaper than the digital version.

What annoys me most about S/Vs problems is the core underneath the mess is so good and the best gameplay loop the series has ever had.

With Switch 2 just around the corner my launch Switch can see out one final year of service.
Plus I plan on getting a PS5 soon anyway so gotta save them pennies.

I love Stardew Valley and I'm willing to give Eric all the time he needs for HC but I do think he should maybe put Stardew to the side for now and focus on a single project.
