Very surprised to see Street Fighter 2 so low in the list, I remember when it was released on the Super Famicom the queues to buy it were immense.

The absolute pinnacle of action games

Outrun was dire on the 8 bit computers but Operation Wolf and Chase HQ were awesome on the CPC464…….both also had great cover art by the late Bob Wakelin.
The popularity of Call Of Duty has never faltered, I’m amazed we haven’t had a Switch version.

@Donutman I understand that logic as I used to do the same thing but nowadays with most titles getting huge discounts on the eshop I rarely buy physical.

@Giggler The Last Of Us 2 is a master class of terrible writing and storytelling. The final scenes make absolutely no sense whatsoever in the context of everything that came before it……and it stole its best idea from Metal Gear Solid 2.

Brilliant games but because they’re continually patched why anyone would want to own them physically is a mystery!

One of the best games ever.

It’s a great game but I don’t think I’ll ever go back for another play through, for me game of the year is Super Mario 3D World simply for how much fun I have with the game, it never fails to make me smile.
Cruis’n Blast gets my second place vote, I’ve put so many hours into that game.

I imagine most people who got one did so to sell on for a profit.

Looks beyond terrible

As someone who owned a C64 back in the day I can honestly say that the games are best left as memories. Better off just watching videos of them on YouTube and soaking up the brilliant music as most of them play like complete dogs these days.

River City Girls 2 looks great but it’s months out, the rest of the stuff was really underwhelming.
Was hoping for details on Silksong, Shredders Revenge and Sports Story.

2023 for a £200 product that’s already been manufactured prior is quite frankly ridiculous regardless of component shortages. Makes me laugh as well how full payment is needed, whatever happened to the days of putting down £20 to preorder something…….oh wait, it’s because that way they aren’t risking any of their own money but will happily tie up their customers money for months. What an appalling business model.

This game is phenomenal

I’d like to see it in the style of Street Fighter 4 with a bigger set of moves and huge character models. Smash Bros is great as a love letter to gaming with so many great characters and phenomenal music but as a single player game it gets boring pretty quickly once all the characters are unlocked.

Loads of brand new white OLED docks on eBay being sold for around £75 as so many people play exclusively handheld ( myself included )

I remember the golden age and also remember Neo Geo and it’s hyper expensive kit….how are they doing now!!
Nintendo will do what Nintendo always do and they don’t care one iota about the competition.
Also, as for the Steam deck, it’s just another in a long list of hardware that hasn’t met it’s launch date.
