Glad to see Crytek still supporting the Switch versions
Still waiting on my lrg copies of 2 & 3
Good news since I'm waiting for physical versions of all 3 games to come in 😁
@tonyp1987 Same 😁
Crysis 2 and 3 need regular retail editions like #1 had, not LRG BS.
I haven't purchased or played any of these games at all, i heard they are good though. Might grab the first one physically to see what its like.
@EVIL-C
They will, at least in Europe. This whole LRG exclusive but not exclusive at all thing is getting out of control. Just like the situation with patches. They are nice and welcomed but couldn't they release the physical versions when the games are complete?
@Tisteg80 Yes, absolutely in agreement there. It's even worse if North America is the only continent getting a particular release. It's terribly anti-consumer and monopolies on a product are never a good thing.
Oh wow, I looked it up and Crytek's site does confirm PAL releases at retail later. I had no idea.
"Crysis 2 Remastered will be available in the US from Tuesday (November 2nd), and Crysis 3 Remastered will be available from December 7th. Retail copies will also be available in selected stores across the EU and UK at later dates."
This is encouraging! 🙂 Worst case I'll import. Thank you for informing me.
Brilliant games but because they’re continually patched why anyone would want to own them physically is a mystery!
@HamatoYoshi so you can play it, then sell it. Not every game stays in my collection after completing.
@Donutman I understand that logic as I used to do the same thing but nowadays with most titles getting huge discounts on the eshop I rarely buy physical.
@HamatoYoshi I pay $50 for something, play it for a month of two, sell it for $45. Cost me $5 to play a game like outer world, and I have no intention on replaying. I’ve owned enough digital stuff that I don’t use and literally just wasted money on since I can’t get it back, I’ll go physical as often as possible. Other then that, I am the first to sell a game I own to pick it up digitally if the sale warrants it
@Gamer_Zeus Hi, I’m rubbish at them, but they are really good 😊👍🏻
There's a sale on each game (Crysis 1 50% off) and on the bundle (20% off) on the eShop. I might give it a try then...
I just bought the game a couple of days ago, but I quit playing it after 2-3 hours, because the performance is not as good in handheld mode as I had hoped.
@Blackrosewaifu9000 Yeah, the third game is my favorite of the series
@HamatoYoshi Because they are collectors like me. I collect rare and imported Switch games and anime. It's where all my free money goes, lol. I spent $250 on a collectors edition of Clannad for the Switch. Digital or streaming all media is the epitome of anti-consumerism. If I pay for something I better own it physically.
@Blackrosewaifu9000 I played them all on PS3 many years ago. I'm waiting on all 3 to come in. The first from Amazon and the second and third from Limited Run Games. LRG said next week they'll be sending them out to me. Also, best waifu is highly subjective given the metric ton of anime out there, lol. Tohru from Fruits Basket, Chocola from Nekopara and Miss Yamato from My Love Story!! are probably some of the straight up nicest anime girls I've come across in the 154 anime series I've watched the past 3 years. But my favorite girl should be obvious and she's not even in anime and the game she's in wasn't even developed in Japan, lol. But Aqua from Konosuba always gets me riled up in many ways as well, lol.
Need to fire up the game to get the updates.
The article focused on a new patch does not even mention the current version number. That's careless.
@Bydlak whom is counting as long as it does the job most wouldn't bat a eye...
