As a long time gamer it’s always wise to never count Nintendo out. Console for console, game for game, their output is and always has been the best.

@dew12333 and he shouldn’t be…..this is the issue with preorders, people selling stuff they don’t have. You probably gave him the usual spiel about how you’ll ship it on release day and have already spent the profit you made.

All those scalpers that sold preorders on eBay aren’t going to be feeling too clever now!

Looks like they copied ‘A Short Hike’ except swapped the bird for an alligator and zoomed the camera way too far in!

Going back to N64 games is like bumping into the girl who used to be fit at school….neither has aged well and you end up feeling disappointed. Had an N64 on release back in the day, great console and games for its time but I have no desire to go back……stick with the memories.

Any decent trainer customiser could make these

It’s awesome, it’s like Split Second Racing on PS3 but even crazier. One of the most fun games I’ve played in ages.

If, and I mean if, the game even exists there’s absolutely no reason for Nintendo not to show something…..they need software to keep the momentum going on Switch. After Metroid and Pokemon there’s nothing on the horizon……Splatoon 3 & the sequel to Breath Of The Wild could be months / years out.

@twztid13 I’m not sure, there’s lots of weird slang words we use and many don’t have traceable origins. For example, some Londoners call a television ‘the custard’ but not every Londoner, it’s a slang word only some of them of a certain age use…..completely bizarre!

@NESlover85 ‘slashing’ actually isn’t British slang. People might say I’m going for a ‘slash’ but they never use ‘slashing’ in that way so I’m not sure where you’ve come to that conclusion?

Calling them mini figures is a big stretch

@Noid it’s like Gen 1 of anything really, Transformers, GI Joe etc, the characters are the arguably the best and hence, most marketable

One thing reviewers fail to mention, and I guess it’s because they don’t pay for the games but is it actual value for money

Like so many poor games they must get to a point in development where even the programmers know it’s rubbish but they still have to release something rather than bin it off and start again.

The open world sections are awful, they really should’ve cut those out and just had the combat sections

It’s a great game to play if you’re struggling to sleep at night………tedious beyond belief.

I’m sick of old games, I’ve played them to death over the years on various consoles

I go back to it every few months to play all the cups but it’s definitely outstayed it’s welcome now…..I’d happily settle for more DLC

@EVIL-C I said the same thing a couple of comments up. It seems this particular writer is keen on forcing her own opinions and agendas into all her articles……the same person wrote that ‘Metroid gave me a right to exist’ self indulgent, attention seeking nonsense.

As someone who lives in Cornwall about a 2 minute walk from the ocean it’s a bit of a generalisation to say people hate it, in fact it’s just poor journalism ( and I use that term vaguely on here ) based on your own opinion. The ocean is the best place…but as I see everyday many people don’t know how to embrace it, respect it and enjoy it.

Just play the waiting game….Crysis can often be picked up in a sale for about £12-14, the sequels will follow suit I’m sure.

Every week seems the same, a myriad of dire titles whilst we wait for the odd gem.

Nothing, getting out with my little dogs then heading down the beach where I live in Cornwall. Gaming takes a backseat in this gorgeous weather.

The fighting sections are great as is the story. The open world parts are beyond tedious as are the mini games. Performance in the open world section is also poor.
Think I’ll be listing mine on eBay Sunday

Part 2 was great because it got rid of all the tedious parts from the first game.
Played this for a couple of hours and genuinely can’t decide if I’m enjoying it or not.
The reviewer has also been very generous…..the open world sections are beyond awful.
