Due to the sheer number of teenage boys playing the game they had to put pants on Cammy otherwise her normal look would’ve blown their tiny minds!

Having lived through the golden age of gaming in the 80s & 90s when the gap between home gaming and arcades was so massive it was beyond comprehension it’s sad that they will very soon be a thing of the past. Arcade machines were, still are, and always will be amazing.

@h1ryu yes it is, I’ve downloaded it and the discount was applied, £6.11 it should be with the discount.

I’m in UK, just downloaded it and it’s working fine. You need to let the system download the SOR4 update then go back into the game, click ‘Mr X Nightmare’ which takes you to the eshop to buy it. Used my gold points and with the discount it cost me £4!

@AcridSkull why is it ‘supposed to be’?

Those open world segments are really suffering with frame rate issues and pop-up. I’m not usually bothered about that stuff but here it’s definitely noticeable. The environments also look incredibly sparse and unpopulated.

@SpringDivorce years and years is an overstatement, look back through gaming history and there’s literally no mention of the phrase prior to the Japanese Switch release of the Capcom games.

The Streets Of Rage 4 DLC…….no, wait a minute!

It’s a shambles in all honesty, the DLC is there on the Nintendo eshop server as people with review codes have been able to download it and play it. It’s just as if there’s a bad link on the eshop. Seriously, it’s going to be the best part of 2 weeks after the initial launch date before we get it.

@Knuckles seems a long time to sort out a bad link! There’s been crazier theories!

@Tangerine it must be an eshop bug if the codes to reviewers work, meaning there’s nothing wrong with the game. It’s like there’s just a bad link when it comes to buying it, like it doesn’t exist on the eshop.
But I stand by my SONY paying off DOTEMU theory, loads of people have got it on PS4 now instead of waiting for the Switch version.

@russell-marlow it’s disappointing, obviously nothing wrong with the code as reviewers and youtubers have all had review codes that play fine.
It’s just a glitch that won’t let people actually purchase it but why it’s taking so long to rectify is beyond me. Wonder if Sony slipped some money to DOTEMU to delay it for a week?!

@jowe_gw there’s loads of people of colour and ethnicity in video games, always has been……and yes, the number of this type of article & LGBTQ articles are on the increase on this site.

I thought we’d seen the last of this type of article after the cringeworthy ‘Metroid gave me a reason to exist’ nonsense.
Why bother having a comments section if people can only make comments that adhere to the authors limited view on the subject.
As a long time gamer, people of all races and genders have been represented for many years. Look at Street Fighter 2, Final Fights Poison is transgender etc etc.
Also, I don’t want to play as myself in a game, I want to be Fox McCloud, Ryu, Mario, A Special Forces soldier etc. I play games for fun and escapism.

@Bentendo1609 go back and play C64 games that got Zzap Sizzlers back in the later 80s, they are terrible to play nowadays.

It’s not aged that well though, went back to the Wii version at the weekend and the environments are so sparse.

Incredibly tacky and doesn’t look like a high end watch.
A collaboration with Casio would’ve been better, maybe a Mario themed 5600 g-shock
