Anyone who pays the hyper inflated prices from Limited Run over digital is an absolute mug. Most people who buy from them simply do so to extort people on eBay. Anyone who thinks they are buying physical as an investment is kidding themselves. I also hate how even though they are an established company they still won’t invest any of their own money, always relying on customers to stump up cash up front, absolutely no risk on their behalf. Awful company with beyond dreadful customer service.
@Damo well that’s a given, and it’s not just the video game industry, lots of organisations are run by people who have no interest in their own products.
The problem nowadays is that people pretend to be offended by absolutely anything and everything. A lot of the time they aren’t really offended, it’s just attention seeking and making themselves appear to be some kind of moral do-gooders.
Hold onto your sides, they might just split….guess you had to be there!!! Now how about cracking on with Bayonetta 3 instead of this self indulgent nonsense.
@AstralRedStar705 getting worse! If only! There are literally 2 gaming magazines in the UK now I think, Retro Gamer & Edge. Magazines were very much a thing of the time, if you aren’t a certain age you probably missed all the best ones.
@tseliot they really were, there was a great newsagents in my town in the 1990s that also stocked all the import magazines like EGM, Gamepro, Famitsu etc. and I must’ve been buying 15-20 magazines a month ( gaming and film magazines ).
Great times, but now we have to plough through a dirge of awful articles on multiple websites to single out something worth reading.
@NEStalgia I’m the same, I’m 47 now and I’ve been gaming since the C64 days, I still play my Switch but I’ve definitely fell out of love with the industry as a whole. I miss the excitement of the old days, the magazines, the arcades, the brilliant cover art we used to get……I could go on forever. I also miss the fact that we’ll never get another console with a true generational leap ever again. Glad I was there in the golden age of gaming!
I’m not surprised really, there’s simply not enough new software released to qualify for such a show, years ago it was different but nowadays with huge development times and constant delays what’s the point of showing stuff that’s potentially years away. Many would argue against me but I’ve never been less excited to be a gamer, it’s just delays, patches, paid DLC & the eternal quest for more powerful hardware.
A year away ( at least ) so I’m guessing it still needs lots of work but the amount of games available means there’s never a shortage of stuff to play so I’ll happily wait.
Got my copy delivered yesterday from Shopto and I’m in love with the game. It’s just so bright and happy and although it is pretty easy it’s clearly going to be endlessly replayable with so much stuff to do.
Day one for me, I’m not entirely sure why everyone wants super challenging games….this looks like fantastic fun and will be endlessly replayable, the whole ethos of Nintendo!
Welcome to the absolute disappointment of human beings and adult life…..this kind of behaviour has been going on since the dawn of time and will never stop.
@dil_power I don’t even think we’ll see it then, all these extra tracks take us up to 2023 and then I think we’ll get Mario Kart 8 Ultimate on the next console in 2024 which will have all this content on the cartridge.

Metal Gear Collection for Switch confirmed.

@Damo actually you can’t be 100% about that so it’s not a statement you should be making about hardware that isn’t tested.

……..and bricking your console in 3,2,1…..

@FleaBag_11 it could’ve scored 10/10 and people would still be negative on here, there’s no pleasing some people.
Re: The First Review For Kirby And The Forgotten Land Is Now In
I like easy games, I don’t want to play something that frustrates me.
