Re: Eiji Aonuma on the Idea of Giving Link a Voice

I'm glad to see my contemporaries sharing similar views. Keep Link silent but allow other characters to talk! It adds so, much more to the game and and even the lore to have voice acting. I'm glad Link has had options to say things but never speaks in past games. I'd like for his dialogue to have more crucial consequences. But keep him silent

This might be Nintendo's last full year of Wii U, but I don't think NX will be coming out in the Fall.

That said, I'm surprised for those who voted on Project Guard being the most anticipated game for this year =.=

Re: Editorial: Xenoblade Chronicles X Has Tiny Text - Time for an Update?

I run the game on a 50" screen and I need to scoot up. I'm moving out to a new place, using a 30some" TV and I'm concerned.

Part of me wonders if they make the text so small so we can appreciate the landscape of the game better. After all, the massive world is impressive. That said, the text is utterly frustrating. People who say it's a passive impression on the gamer: I find ludicrous. It's a map. It's text. It needs to be used.

Re: Reggie Talks Smartphone Gaming and My Nintendo

I told myself that I was not going to get any Nintendo games—in fact, there are no games at all on my phone. I want to interact with the world, after all. Having Facebook app and internet access is bad enough.

However... with Miitomo, I think there's an exception. I think the idea is quite interesting. I... do find it odd to cater to shy people. I'm hardly the most outgoing person there, but I do believe interaction with others is important. Part of me wonders how much this will hinder interaction rather than actually implement.

Needless to say, I'm quite excited.

@MrRight Ha. While I appreciate what these other games have done for the Wii U and the effort they put into making a version of Minecraft on the Wii U...
...Minecraft is Minecraft. I've enjoyed the game since I downloaded the beta. I do wish things reformed back to that stage, but it is what it is. The fact that Minecraft is on the Wii U means that I will be playing it.

Whenever I traverse this site I sometimes wonder what you guys want. People who argue that 3rd Party support (or lack thereof) is what's killed the console should not say anything but praise about this announcement. This game will always be on the top selling-list (at least for another half decade). Why shoot this down?

Okay. People who aren't fans of Minecraft, I get it. This news doesn't excite you. But boy, think beyond yourselves. This truly is big news for Nintendo. A game that a lot of kids (and formerly adults, though big kids still get a kick out of it) play on a console that appeals to a primarily non-M rated audience is solid news. It's too bad it wasn't featured in the Direct.
