I actually did the same exact thing. I had every box from every game and console dating back to the Atari and I finally got sick of moving cardboard so I sat there for hours and tore it all up and threw it in garbage bags. Ugh...

Definitely not. Maybe played it for a couple of days? Couldn’t do it anymore. Trash. It’s a BEAUTIFUL game, but it’s trash.

@Cia I was thinking the same thing. I played the last Smash on GameCube controllers exclusively but I've been psyched to play Smash on the pro controller ever since they announced the game.

The first game was a major disappointment. I bought an unfinished game and that poo annoys me. That being said, I'm sure it'll be a hoot to play Shaq-Fu... once.

The only thing Microsoft has announced that I've been excited about in recent years is Dragonscale. Then it got cancelled! Boooo...

Halo 5 was weak. I've barely turned on my xbone in months and since PS4 started accepting external hard drives, it's been my system of choice between the two.

Microsoft has to announce something pretty groundbreaking and exciting for me to care anymore.

I was definitely the last of my bunch to hold onto that app, but in the end it was just too boring. Loved some of the features in the pic editing part, but that was it. RIP Miitomo, even if 6 people are still playing it.

Ya know... I was one of the few people I guess that loved the app. I LOVED playing along with the Trivia game during sporting events. My only gripe is that I would comment on something crazy that would happen with something stupid like, "Damn!!!!" and they would IMMEDIATELY delete it. The last time I went to use it, it was a bit behind so that I couldn't even answer the Trivia questions because, by the time I saw the question, it was already too late to answer it. Oh well...

I still haven't been able to download the Streetpass updates. Anyone not get it yet as well?

@headfirstslide I already voted for VJ!! He'd be a PERFECT candidate. And it would take the sour taste of him in MvC3 out of my mouth.

I have ZERO problem paying $5 for a Smash Bros character. The game is so tight and the characters are so important that it's well worth it. On the opposite side of that, The Playstation All-Stars game released a huge amount of characters at a fraction of that cost but they all sucked and were boring (Just like the game!).

Just goes to show... you get what you pay for.

Great lineup, it really is. Too bad I already have all of the games that I would want anyway. Metroid? Check. Mario Kart? Check. Kirby's Dreamland 3? Check. Kid Icarus? Check. Oh well...

I got everything with no problems because I pre-ordered the Smash Bros Wii U Bundle and got the adapter and controller. The REAL problem is all of my friends that didn't pre-order the game or that got a Wii U after the game came out (which is also many of my friends). I've been actively trying to get Gamecube adapters for them for quite some time now. I'm NOT paying $150 for one either.

@Gorlokk Well... I got one this month. The "temporary" price drop to $350 and the fact that it comes with 2 AAA titles (Assassins Creed IV & Unity) is DEFINITELY a selling point for the system. The X-Bone is a nice system, but there's absolutely nothing remarkable about it (other than the fact that it's a GREAT multi-tasker). That being said, I still like my Wii U better, but I can understand the sudden increase in interest for the X-Bone. Also, their marketing is killing it. I see it advertised as the main "ticket" everywhere.

@CharleSketch FACT: lego marvel is amazing.

I'm amazingly in love with my Wii U. However, the limitations in voice chat cause it to immediately be a #2 system by default. However, I think Nintendo is okay with that. My real problem with that is that Smash Bros with party chat would immediately make it my "Go-to" system. But it won't have that... so... it's not...

I hope my GameCube extension chord cables still works.

@FragRed I wouldn't buy any cross-platform game on the Wii U for that reason alone. It sucks, but it's just the truth.

I would've down+A'd the crap out of them with Kirby. We referred to that as the "bitch" move. As in, "Oh, I just bitched you!" The best was the Pokemon level with the gap in the middle. "Bitching" people down that gap was SO satisfying.

The ability to actually TALK to your friends online. This is necessary. The fact that it's gone from 3DS doesn't give me hope for Wii U... but a guy can dream, can't he?

@Specter_Twilight My daughter has asked for one of them in the past. Most parents would just get it because their kid asked for it. I'm an experienced gamer and I know better.

However, I do know what it's like to want a game, buy it, and find out it's dog poooooooop (Thanks, Stunt Race FX). It's a good life lesson that I want my kids to have as well. I let her save up her money and she bought Club Penguin for the DS and she immediately realized that it was crap. I gave her the "Now you know..." talk and it was satisfying.

Looks amazing - I'm super excited. If it plays exactly like LEGO Marvel, then I'm 100% sold. LEGO Batman 2 was a GREAT game but after playing LEGO Marvel, I realize that the flying controls and character select was extremely flawed in LB2.

Is this review for real? I'm genuinely asking. It's funny, aside from the multiplayer comment at the end, it feels as if they were sarcastically highlighting all of the game's major flaws. Awful graphics, horrendous controls, incredibly linear missions, but the multiplayer was top notch.

@Emaan I'm at Platinum. I held back a bunch of stuff until the new "Club" year and was immediately platinum minutes after the new year started. I BETTER GET SOME CODES!!!

Great idea with the Koopalings!! They should have done that with the Fire Emblem characters instead of cluttering the character screen with fighters I won't select often.

@XyVoX It was the US version and I was a stubborn teenager at the time. Who knows, maybe I'd like it now.

My problem was that this game wa INSANELY slow. I played it with a friend once and turned it off mid-race.
