I wish Leif wasn't guaranteed. Kicks is fine because his stock changes significantly every time, but Leif just doesn't have a big enough item pool, especially when you can get the flower seeds from the regular store anyway.

Now that’s why Redd is not coming to the island as often as he should. Frankly, his stocks are far more interesting and important than Kicks and Leif combined.

Finally had Redd again two days ago, I hadn't seen him since his first appearance, and all of his stuff was fake 🙄

So That explains why Gulliver rarely shows up at the moment on my island. Shame that a character who has a lot of rare items will potentially show up once every 3 weeks this game really values patience 🙃

Redd has literally never returned to my island yet. Not since the two times he is guaranteed to. I play every day, so I have to seriously question that "bad luck prevention"/priority thing.

I'm definitely getting my money's worth with all of the collecting. Maybe in a few months I'll be doing less of the tasks but I know I'll check in regularly for the latest stuff to collect/catch.

Yeah I haven't had Redd anymore either since his first scripted showing...

Flick has not been to my island in over 2 weeks. I have a lot to sell him.

@psychoBrew Okay cool guy. If you don't like Animal Crossing that's fine but what's the point of being here and saying so? It doesn't really matter or make us stop playing. So if you don't like the game than just move along.

They really need to allow other visitors on weekends. KK and Daisy Mae aren't enough for those days. Also my girlfriend has had the Abels for a couple weeks and has never had Kicks. Not too sure of the validity here.

To be constructive in criticism, I do enjoy this game, but I can see how it’s rinse-repeat nature can be seen as chores seeing how the main story arc seems to be to pay off your loan and get K.K. to the Island. It needs more acceleration in events like the coming wedding so that there is more side quest to do.
Lastly, because I like the game I find it a stretch that such a single example of my interest makes me weird. Seems psychoBrew is trying to start argument for the sake of argument...I’ve seen that personality type, but it is lost on me what we call that type person...🤨. I can appreciate how misanthropic it must be for you psychoBrew to go around judging people within the comfort of your cyber distance from those you may offend further espousing the “keyboard warrior” lifestyle.

This datamine doesn't account for the fact that any one visit from Sahara seems like two visits too many. The real villain of Animal Crossing.

And putting Label on the upper tier with Flick, CJ and Redd, oh my days.

The art section of the museum will never be complete at this rate. Redd hasn't appeared on my island for half a month now. To make matters worse, the last time he was there he didn't have a single piece of real art. It's a bit ridiculous, really.

Oh, and I haven't had a single meteor shower. Not one. Played every day since launch.

It’s a slooooowwwwww burn. Doesn’t some of the enjoyment come from knowing there’s stuff in the game you haven’t seen yet? You can race to fill up the museum or get all of Gullivers stuff, but the more you fixate on getting it the more frustrating it will be for you. Also quick tip; just buy from redd on your friends islands since he often has more than one real. Villagers will also randomly mail you real art

You can also get 2 on the same day. I’ve had it several times and I heard friends having it occur too.

Can we kill off Saharah and have Redd be guaranteed a weekly slot? Filling the museum is more important to me than getting wallpaper or flooring that I'll just keep in my storage and never use.

I don't think Redd came this week for me. I wish he would set up a permanent shop as he did on a few previous games.

Can't help but be a little curious as what it says. That's a flaw in the downvoting on this site now; sharing an opinion on the other spectrum and people will downvote because they disagree not necessarily because you were trolling. @AlexanderDaniels There is not only a flaw in the downvoting on this site. There is a serious flaw in the whole comment section philosophy where you have to look upon hundreds of random messages to find the replies to a particular comment. Those that run NintendoLife site are very amateurs.

I have never time traveled but i have done something dark... I purchased a bunch of items and fruits i didnt have from a website... paid about 7.5 for all the antique stuff. a statue of liberty (gus item) 2 t-rex skulls. 20 apples and Oranges. bunch of arcade games for my gameroom. a Saharah wallpaper... all under 8 bucks... shady yes... worth it to me... heck yeah lol. but i wont do it again... feel guilty haha

@Manah yeah I hope the next nook store upgrade gives him a perma spot for his shop or maybe he will get more stock if the vegetable datamine is true.

I haven’t had CJ for over 3 weeks so I call bull on the prioritisation.

I was waiting for Redd for more than 2 weeks before he came. Now I understand! I need C.J. or Flick because I have a huge bug/fish collection.

@Cosats An easy fix would be when you reply to a comment it would display the comment number alongside the username.

They need to have Redd come every week. Make someone like Leif or Kicks a random spawn. I rarely use those two anyways. Also, have CJ and Flick alternate every Sunday. Daisy Mae is pointless if you don’t play in the morning.

@Heavyarms55 I have the same problem with Flick. I have a ton of insects I want to sell... :/ I think the Big N should have it set that a unique visitors show up once a day per week alternating weeks on the same day. It would make my life a lot easier and less stuff I want to do, but can't. I really don't want to time travel to just sell these insects.

For example:
Flick or C.J. on Monday
Gulliver or Wisp random day Once every two weeks
Redd on Wednesdays
Leif, Kicks or Saharah on Saturday (alternating weeks?)
Daisy Mae on Sunday

I got leif 3 times this week....

And yet I've seen Celeste on my island literally once since release. I'd love to have more concrete info about her pop rate TBH. I'm fairly confident I've had Label almost weekly since her first appearance and my Guliver is a cert too.

@Wexter Just considering how many art pieces there are and the limit of one purchase per visit, Redd needs to come more often. CJ and Flick being the only source of the fish and insect models should come more often too. Saharah is valid as well.

But Kicks, Label and Lief just do not need to come often. They're just not as useful or important...

@Heavyarms55 agreed. With how the current distribution is I can see someone being (to still a term from Fire Emblem fans) RNG Skrewed. I get Redd fairly often, but I see Flick or CJ maybe once a month.

I find Kicks, Label and Lief come so often. I don't mind Leif right now because I'm doing a lot of work with flowers. But, once I get everything I want unless Nintendo pumps his stock he'll just get annoying for me real fast!

@Wexter I agree completely. I've actually had Lief back to back. Which honestly really annoyed me. I seem to get Flick and CJ a couple times a month. To be fair, I don't play at night too often, but I don't even remember the last time I've seen Wisp or Celeste. Gulliver was really common for me before the update but I've only had him once since. Although he already gave the the Lucky Cat and Katana, so I'm pretty cool with that. XD

CJ has come to my island once and now I always ignore Saharrah because I'm just not interested in flooring and wallpaper. I want fish models

@Heavyarms55 me too! I haven't seen Flick or Redd for at least 2 to 3 weeks... But I've seen Leif twice, Label once and Kicks once...

I've been playing the game for over 200 hours and have never seen a shooting star or Celeste. It's really annoying.

I've had Wisp 2 of the last 4 days, Redd's initial visit only and Saharah seems to be knocking around all the time.

It would be nice if they got Redd to show up more often considering how his inventory is actually somewhat vital.

They need to make Redd show up more often, or allow you to buy more than one art per visit. At this rate, it’s going to take ages to fill up art galleries.
I honestly don’t mind Lief showing up all the time, I’m currently doing a lot of work with shrubs.
As for Sahara, she needs to come much less. So often I’m hoping for C.J. or Flick to come, but all I get is Saharah. Her wares can be cool, but she needs to come less.
Kicks is fine, he has cool stuff
I always ignore Labelle, even though she gives you limited clothing. But when there’s a choice of Labelles plain clothing, or Able Sisters great outfits, I mean really?!?!
Gulliver needs to come more often. Considering he has all these sick limited items (that you also can’t order from Nook Shopping), it has to be that he’s garanteed to come once a week, at least!
C.J. and Flick HAVE to come MUCH more regularly. Luckily for me, I had C.J. today, but for the first time since I can remember. Plus you can only order one fish/bug model each time they visit.
I’ve had no problem with both Wisp and Celeste, they come regularly enough for me.

Been waiting weeks for Gulliver to show a she's my only way to get rusted parts. It's been 4 weeks now with no sign which is a bit disheartening.
I've got a whole lotta bugs in storage waiting for Flick to show up too so I can order some artworks from him.

I would hope Celeste would show up at least once per star-sign, but so far I've not had her on my island for Taurus. Luckily she still gives you recipes if you visit others. Shame Flick and CJ don't let you do that.

It is kind of an issue that the game almost pushes you towards time travel. Redd and Gulliver should really be a guaranteed weekly spawn considering how difficult it is to get their items.

@BongoBongo I know how you feel. I'd much rather mess with paintings and artwork.
