Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom's Master Sword Twist Was Decided Very Early On

GinMiguel

On the topic of the twist In all honesty, its probably up there with the Sheik twist and better than Tetra's. Those ego's were cool too but this is the first transformation of hers that actually assists Link in the final battle where past ones were Zelda backing him up with her magic which is cool too but this is unique. The cutscene that revealed it after pulling the master sword really moved me.

Re: Random: New College Course Is Grading Students On Their Zelda: TOTK Engineering Skills

I keep saying, Tears of the Kingdom is pretty much Zelda Maker, dungeon excluded. The customization of clothing, and building of weapons, ammo, vehicles, and so on. Tears probably has just as much freedom and flexibility in its creativity kit as the Mario Makers world customizing and level building. Granted Zelda's always had an engineering aspect to it with the dungeons and puzzle solving. They take problem solving, navigation, outside the box thinking. I'm surprised this wasn't attempted sooner with that aspect in mind.

Re: Talking Point: Which Zelda Game Should Be Adapted For The Movie?

GinMiguel

None of the above. Zelda games are too long they'd need to choose what to cut out in between and the stories are spread out between exploring and dungeons making it a pacing nightmare to adapt. Besides we already know those stories leading to redundancy and predictability.
A new story that borrows elements while making their own version and dance of Link, Zelda and Ganondorf. Borrowing aspects from the games. Avoids all that.

Re: Sony Is Co-Financing Nintendo's Live-Action Zelda Movie

GinMiguel

I feel like I was the only one thinking all along, they're not going to Illumination for Zelda. Just because they scored big time with Mario. Nintendo don't let success with one group dictate future plans and they don't put their eggs in one basket for game development surely not for film production either. That being said, Sony of all companies. I thought maybe some other Universal division like Dreamworks or NBC Universal Studios would get on. So hears to surprises

Re: Poll: Do You Prefer Zelda: Wind Waker HD's Bloom Lighting Or The "Flat" OG?

GinMiguel

While I've only played Wind Waker gamecube. Never owning a Wii U. I do like the bloom lighting the HD version. Something about it feels like a painting come to life, even if they might've over done it at times like the shadows on Links face where there has no reason to be or how claymated the character models look next to fire. Still, like it better.

Re: New Interview With Zelda Boss Suggests There Are No Plans For TOTK DLC

GinMiguel

Rats, I was hoping at least for quality of life improvements like a map tracker, showing where I've been on the map. Or a master mode and trials quest. Maybe an arena to compete with other players. But oh well. Although not too surprised considering this game was going to be DLC originally and fleshed out as its own game because of the too many ideas.

Re: Random: Fan-Made 'The Legend Of Zelda' Movie Trailer Shows What Will Never Be

GinMiguel

@Lizuka I don't know about being more real? But regarding no possibility of being good, Didn't stop Detective Pikachu, Mario and Sonic films creation. The quality of the stories the games have wouldn't matter if its an original plot that has no relation to the games. As for the Zelda working well for what it is. Its multiple things already. The manga series, a concert, fan animations and for the time even the cartoon weren't protested. Why is a movie where the line is drawn?
