This game will dominate all my gametime and put on ice the backlog quest for a very long time. As much as I want this game (badly!) I'm hoping to polish off a few more titles before I get my hands on this one!
@Pillowpants Congrats, man! I married my wife last October and we were already together 12 years by then. If you dig in the archives, I actually made a post here about it on the WAYPTW post that weekend (I was getting married that Saturday 19th). LOL I mentioned I had to get my @ss moving to shower up, shave and get back to the hotel Enjoy the evening because after close to 2 years of planning, the anxiety, the stress, all the usual pre-wedding nonsense, the actual wedding day itself flew by in blink of an eye. I'm sure some of it was because I downed so many Miller Lights I lost count. LOL right after our first look I dove into my suite's mini fridge. I think I was 3 or more beers deep when actually walking down the aisle
I'll continue being that loser outcast playing Red Dead Redemption (Switch) on the yesterday's news Switch 1. Really digging this game but as I said before it reminds me why I avoid big open world games. I do a "main quest" thing but then get lost doing all sorts of side stuff end up doing that for hours instead. I guess as long as I'm having fun is all that matters but it definitely makes getting to the next backlog game take a lot longer.
@sixrings Been watching all this go down since the 90's and especially during the real Console Wars of the later 90's to the early 2000's. Welcome to gaming. Here, have some of my popcorn
Huh...not sure if I'm welcome to post here since it's being called the "Switch 2 Edition". Especially with all the show & tell going on. I'm still waiting for the My Nintendo Store invite, so the intent is there, I promise! Don't make this like high school all over again!
So, in that case it looks like I'll be staying with the rest of the pee-ons and playing Red Dead Redemption on the has been Switch 1. Also, getting a little closer to wrapping up the Ontario, Canada map in Snowrunner (Switch) so maybe I'll get to do that.
Still waiting on that My Nintendo Store invite (like most of us signed up right after the Direct) so it doesn't rub me the right way when any Nintendo rep talks about being "ahead of the game". Especially after the EU unlocked invites to anyone pretty early on in the pre-launch era. Oh well I can wait. I just want to get everything I need/want in one shot the invite route seems like the best way to do it.
This is awesome and as others have stated something I've been wanting for a long time. This concept of a 'Cowabunga Collection' approach to these long standing legacy series' is genius and VERY consumer friendly.
I'm hoping the same will be done to the 90's era Star Wars games. I was all over the NES, Game Boy, and most especially the SNES Super Star Wars Trilogy. All those games were like legal crack to wee little me!
@DwaynesGames I LOVED that game. It didn't get me at first but once it "clicked" then I couldn't put it down. I do have to say though in my professional opinion the map system in the game has to be one of the worst I've ever experienced. It can suck my @ss!! Even with online guides it was still a pain to navigate. You'll see what I mean. Or you could be a complete bad@ss and not have a problem with it and I just suck
I'm hoping to finally get some longer play sessions of Red Dead Redemption (Switch). It's definitely growing on me and I keep getting torn between main quest stuff and side stuff.
I'll also try to get more Snowrunner (Switch) in. I've gotten really far into the Ontario, Canada map and it's been a real doozy. Last weekend I finally repaired ALL the damn water towers which should really help clear the way for remaining work to be done!
Thanks for all the feedback. For me, there's more to all this than just getting it on or around launch. Five days. Five days after launch I turn 41. 41 freaking years old! There's a big part of me that feels I should be beyond letting this hoopla of a launch of the "next big thing" get to me if at all. If you do the math, I was there, in the trenches (like many on here can relate), for all the other "next big thing". The leaps from 8 bit, 16 bit, N64, GoldenEye, PS1, Resident Evil, "Emotion Engine" PS2 (with a DVD player!!!), Unreal/UT, and so on, and so on....and so on. Work full time, married, wife and I were lucky enough to own a home, no kids though. I hate to admit this, but my wife originally was going to pay for majority of a Vegas trip for my birthday...but once the Switch 2 launch date was announced I shifted it towards that thing. She's was fine with it since we have a huge expensive trip planned for Orlando in the Fall. But it never ends though. For example, today I had to drop $680 on my car cause the water pump decided to take a dump.
Apologize for the rant. Maybe I'm letting all this get to me. Majority of anything Nintendo news anywhere is understandably about "do you have a pre-order yet? Here's where you can get yours. If you have a pre-order, when does it arrive? What's the first thing you're doing with it?" and so on...and so on. The funny thing is the reality of all this is I'm literally doing the exact same thing with the damn thing as my OG Switch 1: transferring it all over and continue my backlog quest which is currently Red Dead Redemption. So much for "the next big thing".
I have to throw this in. I stumbled on this and it hit too close to home. Sums up more than I'd like to admit.
This is a very interesting pick for a cover story. I'm all for supporting the indie scene but of all the choices...good for the dozens I'm sure that will be playing it. Bills must be due
While I do appreciate the retail stores doing whatever they can to get as many as possible in the hands of eager buyers, it still bugs me a little that those of us who registered for The Nintendo Store route are still on the outside looking in. It was nice of Nintendo to send the email update a week or so ago but the way I see it is all those "interest" registers is pretty much guaranteed money in the bank. It makes sense to me to fulfill as much (if not all) the "interest" tickets first.
Maybe I'm just being a little bitter and/or jealous. The "interest" route seemed so simple and streamlined than trying to wrangle pre-orders from one or more stores. Being able to do a one stop shop of everything I need in one big purchase felt perfect to me.
After successfully polishing off Red Faction Guerrilla Remastered (Switch) last weekend I finally started the next official backlog game of Red Dead Redemption (Switch). It's been a slow burn during the week as I come to grips of what I'm supposed to be doing, where to go, how to do this, how to do that, etc. It's very overwhelming but I'm slowly getting to grips with it. I can definitely already see why this game is considered one of the best but I'm still just starting out. It did remind me though why I tend to avoid big open world games but I'm willing to put the time in. Had to watch some beginner guide YouTube videos though. I definitely don't want to "cheat/hack" the game but I don't have the time to spend endless hours doing random stuff and not progressing at least towards something significant to the story.
I got super excited when I saw Kirby's face because my first thought was finally Kirby's Pinball Land!!! Then my excitement once again came crashing down like a meteor. Oh well I shall continue waiting...
I'd argue that Super Mario Kart and Mark Kart 64 fall into the area of "you had to have been there". I completely understand with those that say they haven't aged well for a variety of reasons. I get that. But when those games released...they were each an EVENT for us kids.
After finally wrapping up Laika Aged Through Blood (Switch) (what a game!) I decided to first focus on my second playthrough of Red Faction Guerilla Remastered (Switch). I'm hoping to finish that up this weekend before moving onto the next official game on my backlog which is Red Dead Redemption (Switch). I was going to start that one right away but it seemed I would be too overwhelmed trying to play two big open world games at once.
Oh man back in the gap this game was a day 1 purchase in our household. My brothers and I put endless hours into talking all sorts of smack whenever we broke combos, etc.
I've already ranted in other Bayo articles, so I'll sum up. Bayo 3 was by far my most favorite in terms of gameplay and fun. It borrowed so much from Astral Chain (one of favorite Switch games ever!). However, the story sucked so hard with it being multiverse nonsense. I hate 'multiverse' stories!! Don't get me started!
@mcmicken ...but I might be sneaking in a short indie game like Neva as a pallet cleanser before diving into another time sink.
Neva is the perfect cleanser when in between 2 bigger games! Not too long or complicated, fun simple to understand game mechanics, amazing story and just straight up engaging.
I'll be continuing Laika Aged Through Blood (Switch). Last weekend I was able to get a real good long session with it. The game is so amazing and should really get more attention. Depending on how much time I get this weekend maybe I could wrap it up. I'm so slow at these type of games so I ain't holding my breath. I got some really good advice last weekend about taking my time it so that's what I'm doing
If I can finish up Laika I'm really leaning towards finishing my second playthrough of Red Faction Guerrilla Remastered (Switch) before I move onto my 'on deck' game in the backlog which is Red Dead Redemption (Switch). The idea of trying to tackle two big open world games is starting to feel very overwhelming. We'll see what I end up doing.
In the end, it doesn't matter what genre of game it is, ALL that matters is the game fun. Throw all the bells and whistles you want at it. All the latest tech and trendy mechanics...is the game fun? This dude must have stock in Rockstar or something because regardless of what he says I'm willing to bet vital parts of my anatomy he WILL be playing MK World and GTA6.
Like what @Ashunera84 stated above. How in this day in age after all the nonsense (and abuse) us gamers have endured by non-gameplay trailers how anyone gets excited? I've been burned so many times (looking at you Aliens Colonial Marines!) and as "cool" as these trailers can be...until I see that final product along with real reviews only then I open the floodgates of excitement. Just my 2 cents so it doesn't mean jack sh#t.
Like many have said life will carry on just as it's been it terms of gaming. In 2018 I scaled everything down, traded in all other systems, let the gaming PC age out and settled with Switch 1 and couldn't be happier. Life is too busy and just trying to keep up with anything Switch 1 is already such a monumental task for me. I'm getting a Switch 2 to transfer it all over and keep doing what I've been doing this whole time. It's exactly what I was hoping to do.
@Rainz I'll definitely be sure to chill out and enjoy the time with Laika. And yeah, it's funny how badly I want the Switch 2 to literally just transfer it all over to the new machine and be done with it. Honestly, the only Switch 2 specific game I care to play at this time is Donkey Kong Bananza. Besides that, it's carrying on exactly with how I'm doing it now with backlog and those casual games from Switch 1
@Rainz Thanks for the advice. I easily can stress sometimes on how long it's taking me to get through a game. I put a lot of pressure on myself because there's so many games I want play but there's only so much time. I want to focus on the backlog which I've been doing decent at, but there are times instead of playing that "main focused game on the list" I sit back and play something casual (like something I already beat) to maximize relaxing the brain. But when I don't focus on that main game then I get stressed about now it's taking me longer to get to the "next" game on the list. And when I'm playing that main game, I don't like speedrunning and enjoy the ride. But then getting to that next game takes longer...it can be a viscous cycle sometimes. Overall I try to focus on just having a good time regardless of what I'm playing. But there's just too much and all I have is a Switch! It's the exact reason why I scaled it all down because having the gaming PC, multiple consoles and handhelds made me such a wreck.
I should have more gaming time this weekend, so I'll continue playing Laika Aged Through Blood (Switch). I'm really enjoying it, but it reminds me of why I don't play this genre that much. I tend to take forever in 'metroidvanias' even if they're supposed to be short games. I like to explore and spend lots of time checking every nook and cranny when I get a new ability which tends to take up hours of not progressing the main story. I feel like I should have been done with this game like 6 hours ago LOL. Oh well I'm still having fun so hopefully I can maybe wrap it up this weekend but I ain't holding my breath.
Will probably throw in some Snowrunner (Switch) if I can. I keep saying I'll also continue my second playthrough of Red Faction Guerilla Remastered (Switch) but I haven't touched it in weeks. So much to play but so little time.
I'll happily take a dual pack remaster of Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2 please for Switch. I remember having a blast with those games although I preferred 1 over 2. If I remember correctly 1 had a lot more "Vegas" settings while 2 took place more in random warehouses and office buildings or something. Still fun though.
Well last weekend I ended up getting so busy my gaming time went out the window. So, I'll be trying again with longer form sessions of Laika Aged Through Blood (Switch). It's really starting to grow on me and I'm getting a lot better with the controls. So far having a pretty good time!
And if I can I'll try to squeeze in more of my second playthrough of Red Faction Guerrilla Remastered (Switch) without the game breaking backpacks. Also, more of Snowrunner (Switch) and those complicated big hauls in Ontario, Canada. We'll see because it's been the same intended plan the last few weeks, but life stuff keeps tossing a monkey wrench into it all.
@Dhaladog ...also trying to play Doom Eternal but keep getting absolutely hammered by the game difficulty (got to face it I just ain't any good at first person shooters anymore)...
I know what you mean. I did real good with Doom 2016 but then Eternal wrecked me at first. So what I did I dropped the difficulty to the lowest till I got the hang of things (plus some upgrades) and slowly moved it up till I was comfortable and confident. Then I had a blast! No shame dude in dropping it down if needed. The game introduces so many new things and dials up existing things from 2016 it can take some of us non hard-core folk extra time to catch up.
After wrapping up Shadow Generations (Switch) last week I decided to change my original plan of the next backlog game and started Laika Aged Through Blood (Switch). I'm not huge into 'metroidvanias' but I've had my eye on this game due to it's unique approach to the genre. So far I'm digging it and it has potential to be another one of those hidden gems of a game. Still adjusting to the controls because this game really forces you to play it a certain way. But that could be a good thing to force you out of the typical comfort zone of games like this and challenge you in a unique way!
If time permits I'll continue the second playthrough of Red Faction Guerilla Remastered (Switch) and more of those heavy jobs in Snowrunner (Switch). That Ontario, Canada has some real doozys!
@SirLink If I could cast a vote I'd say Tropical Freeze should be next! That is by far my most favorite platforming game. Mario Wonder came close but I just never stopped having a blast with Freeze from beginning to end. So challenging yet in a fun way
With my available gaming time being such a mixed bag lately it's been a bit slower than I'd like getting through things. I did finally finish the Sonic side of Sonic X Shadow Generations (Switch). Horrible final boss but overall the game was alright. Didn't blow up my skirt but I had some fun. Now moving onto the Shadow campaign and already I can tell it's a massive improvement.
Last weekend I put more time into Snowrunner (Switch) than I intended to. I'm just so deep into those hefty jobs in Ontario, Canada it's so easy (easy) to just kick back and get to work. Some of those jobs really make you sit and think about routes and where best to get your needed supplies. Something so basic really just hooks you in for hours
And lastly I'm hoping to slowly keep chopping away at my second playthrough of Red Faction Guerrilla Remastered (Switch). Game is so fun but I really want to see how the later game will go down without using any of those game breaking backpacks this time around!
My gaming time has been so chopped up lately, but my plans will be very similar to last weekend if I can swing it. I'll continue to try to get further into Sonic X Shadow Generations (Switch). It's really fun so far so we'll see if I end up going back to collect everything or just the mainline story for both campaigns.
I hope to squeeze in more of my second playthrough of Red Faction Guerilla Remastered (Switch). This game is straight up old school crazy FUN. Not going use any game breaking backpacks this time!
And finally, more of Snowrunner (Switch). Even though I kicked the main addiction to this game I just love kicking back, losing myself getting things done. The Ontario, Canada map is really making me work. I still have to keep this game in check though because I can very easily lose all dedicated gaming time to it if I'm not careful.
@Jamie64326 I'm pretty confident I'll grab it at release too. Will I play it right away remains to be seen but I'll definitely want it. I'm confident the game will be marketed to be very playable regardless of if you've played any of the game(s) in the series or anything Metroid at all.
@Jamie64326 I'm totally in the same boat! Back in the day I had the original GC game but I never got around to playing it (probably too addicted to AvP2 at the time). I watched my brother play some of it and I remember he loved it back then. The Remaster finally gave me the chance and boy did I miss out back then. The game was AMAZING!
As excited as I am for MP4 and kinda don't want to play it until I play MP 2 & 3 first. I'm so hoping Nintendo releases them again in some form on Switch. I'm totally fine with them not getting the "Remastered" treatment just straight ports. All I have is Switch so I really need them to do it! My money is ready, Nintendo!
I hope to get some longer form playing sessions of Sonic X Shadow Generations (Switch). I'm still getting to grips with it but so far I'm enjoying myself. My first Sonic game since the 90's!
I'll also continue my second playthrough of Red Faction Guerrilla Remastered (Switch). I want to do it this time without any of those game breaking backpacks. I forgot how epic and insanely fun this game is!
If time permits I'm hoping to play a little Snowrunner (Switch). Once I cut the addiction to make room for other games I can't deny I sure do miss this game. I need to make sure I put this game at the end of game sessions because if I start first with it then nothing else will get a turn
This last week I was able to wrap up Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown (Switch). What a game!
Moving on in the backlog of already purchased games I'm going to start Sonic X Shadow Generations (Switch). The last Sonic game I played was back in the 90's so I'm way out the loop. Heard a lot of good things about this game so looking forward to it. Whenever I complete this I have Red Dead Redemption (Switch) on deck next. We'll see if I stick to that. There's just too many games in the backlog that keep screaming at me to be next in line.
Also if time permits, I'll continue some tasks/contracts in Snowrunner (Switch) and maybe some more of my second playthrough of Red Faction Guerrilla Remastered (Switch). So much games but not enough time
I'll keep feeding my need for speed with Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown (Switch). Last weekend I finally was able to get some longer form playing sessions and wow what a game. I've been chipping at the campaign all week but hope to get more time with it if not beat it this weekend. So glad I decided to move that one to the top of backlog list. Such a gem.
I'll also chip away at my replay of Red Faction Guerilla Remastered (Switch). If I stick with it, I want to beat it without using any of those game breaking overpowered backpacks this time.
I believe I finally have Snowrunner (Switch) on a proper leash. Meaning I could play it little, do a contract/task and be able to not get sucked in for ALL my gaming time. It's so rewarding when I do but I really need to keep on the backlog list again. I have so many waiting their turn!
Wow...the brand is really nothing what it used to be (this is coming from a former DIE HARD Star Wars fan. The EU used to be my religion for decades. Not anymore for obvious reasons I'll just leave it at that). There was a time even mediocre Star Wars games had a life of their own. I understand this is a bit different being another F2P in a saturated market, but the Star Wars brand used to print money regardless. No matter what the access media, paid off influencers, sock puppet social media accounts, etc. say the brand is nothing like it used to be. In the end it's all about that mighty dollar. Star Wars does not make the money it once did for decades. For those that are still hanging in there...I salute you. Godspeed.
I'm still holding out for a collection (exactly like the Cowabunga Collection) of all the 8 bit, Game Boy, 16 bit and any other SW games from that era in one package. Day 1 purchase and WILL actually play them!
Wow...the Turtles IP is quickly becoming the most sought after IP by developers. It's like the people at Paramount are saying "Yes" in the middle of whoever's sales pitch because they know there will be at least some profit from it.
I'm not talking trash. All that matters is the end product(s) are good. But it feels like every financial quarter there's more TMNT products inbound to ensure positive numbers in the books.
When time permits I plan on continuing the campaign in Ace Combat 7 (Switch). The game is really awesome but also challenging at times. Or I could just really suck at it. I've still though only been playing it in short sessions so I'm hoping to get to play a long form session to really immerse myself in it. The story so far isn't blowing up my skirt but the levels so far are a blast. The Top Gun DNA is all over this game.
As I said last week I decided to try to play through again Red Faction Guerrilla Remastered (Switch). I forgot how freaking dope this game is. With my limited gaming time we'll see if I end up playing through it again especially if I'm not going to use any of those game breaking backpacks this time. Also no, I'm not calling it by its intended name "Re-MARS-tered". That's just so cringe to me!
The reality is I've only made any gaming progress lately because of avoiding Snowrunner (Switch). I do miss it so I may boot it up for a little bit but there's always the risk of it just taking over all game time...again...
They did it! Those crazy sons of b#tches finally did it! Donkey Kong 94 was by far one of my most played GB games back in the gap! I'll definitely try to squeeze that one in this year!
Now all I need is Kirby's Pinball Land on the NSO and I could retire...
@Dpishere There's a sorta "eplilogue" story of reuniting all the God's in the Hades house. It will take a long while because you have to essentially finish/max out each individual boon giving God's relationship with gifting the fruits and drinks. Also there's all the other character story lines (like with Thanatos, Achilles, Dusa, etc.) requiring the same method of giving fruits and drinks. If you really enjoy doing runs (especially with Heat levels) it can be really fun but it will be a sh#t load of runs.
Once again my game time hasn't been as much as I'd like this week and going into the weekend. I finally wrapped up DKC Returns HD a few days ago. Great game! To mix it up a bit I'm now going to start Ace Combat 7 (Switch) from the backlog list. I barely had a chance with it, so it hasn't fully "clicked" with me yet. Once I get the opportunity to get a long form play session I'm sure I'll get hooked. I definitely see the potential for it to be amazing! As long as I can stay away from Snowrunner (Switch) I should be able to dig deep into AC7.
Out of left field I started thinking about Red Faction Guerrilla Remastered (Switch) again so I re-downloaded it. I beat it back in 2022 but back then I didn't know I cheesed the game. What I mean is I wasn't aware those OP'd (or game breaking) various backpacks (especially the invisibility one) weren't originally supposed to be in the campaign. Apparently one of the last updates the developers added them into the campaign from the multiplayer so players can just wreak havoc. I didn't learn that till I was just about to beat the game so since then it's been bugging me that I never actually legitimately beat the game I actually cheesed it. I'm thinking about giving it another go without those game breaking devices. We'll see it will interrupt the backlog quest but I remember the campaign being so damn fun...then again I was using those backpacks and just wreaking havoc.

Re: Another US Retailer Will Be Stocking Additional Switch 2 Units Next Week
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (24th May)
After successfully polishing off Red Faction Guerrilla Remastered (Switch) last weekend I finally started the next official backlog game of Red Dead Redemption (Switch).
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Library With Four More Titles
I got super excited when I saw Kirby's face because my first thought was finally Kirby's Pinball Land!!! Then my excitement once again came crashing down like a meteor. Oh well I shall continue waiting...
Re: Feature: The Long & Rainbow Road To 'Mario Kart World', From SNES To Switch 2
I'd argue that Super Mario Kart and Mark Kart 64 fall into the area of "you had to have been there". I completely understand with those that say they haven't aged well for a variety of reasons. I get that. But when those games released...they were each an EVENT for us kids.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (17th May)
After finally wrapping up Laika Aged Through Blood (Switch) (what a game!) I decided to first focus on my second playthrough of Red Faction Guerilla Remastered (Switch). I'm hoping to finish that up this weekend before moving onto the next official game on my backlog which is Red Dead Redemption (Switch). I was going to start that one right away but it seemed I would be too overwhelmed trying to play two big open world games at once.
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's N64 Library With Another Game
Oh man back in the gap this game was a day 1 purchase in our household. My brothers and I put endless hours into talking all sorts of smack whenever we broke combos, etc.
Re: Hideki Kamiya Intended To Continue Bayonetta With Another Trilogy
I've already ranted in other Bayo articles, so I'll sum up. Bayo 3 was by far my most favorite in terms of gameplay and fun. It borrowed so much from Astral Chain (one of favorite Switch games ever!). However, the story sucked so hard with it being multiverse nonsense. I hate 'multiverse' stories!! Don't get me started!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (10th May)
@mcmicken ...but I might be sneaking in a short indie game like Neva as a pallet cleanser before diving into another time sink.
Neva is the perfect cleanser when in between 2 bigger games! Not too long or complicated, fun simple to understand game mechanics, amazing story and just straight up engaging.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (10th May)
I'll be continuing Laika Aged Through Blood (Switch).
Re: Former Rockstar Dev Throws Shade At Mario Kart World, Says New GTA Will Be Worth The Price
Re: Talking Point: With Prices Rising, Are Your Gaming Habits Changing?
Like many have said life will carry on just as it's been it terms of gaming. In 2018 I scaled everything down, traded in all other systems, let the gaming PC age out and settled with Switch 1 and couldn't be happier. Life is too busy and just trying to keep up with anything Switch 1 is already such a monumental task for me. I'm getting a Switch 2 to transfer it all over and keep doing what I've been doing this whole time. It's exactly what I was hoping to do.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (3rd May)
@Rainz I'll definitely be sure to chill out and enjoy the time with Laika.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (3rd May)
@Rainz Thanks for the advice.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (3rd May)
@CriticalHit Those 2 games were excellent!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (3rd May)
I should have more gaming time this weekend, so I'll continue playing Laika Aged Through Blood (Switch).
Re: Rumour: Ubisoft Might Already Be Teasing More Switch 2 Games
I'll happily take a dual pack remaster of Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2 please for Switch. I remember having a blast with those games although I preferred 1 over 2. If I remember correctly 1 had a lot more "Vegas" settings while 2 took place more in random warehouses and office buildings or something. Still fun though.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (26th April)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (19th April)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (19th April)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (12th April)
@SirLink If I could cast a vote I'd say Tropical Freeze should be next! That is by far my most favorite platforming game. Mario Wonder came close but I just never stopped having a blast with Freeze from beginning to end. So challenging yet in a fun way
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (12th April)
Re: Three Sega Genesis / Mega Drive Games Have Been Added To Switch Online's Expansion Pack
Where is my General Chaos and Skitchin', you cowards!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (5th April)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (29th March)
@yoshi420 If you were to retire from gaming after those 2...it would arguably be the highest note to go out on
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (29th March)
@Jamie64326 I'm pretty confident I'll grab it at release too. Will I play it right away remains to be seen but I'll definitely want it. I'm confident the game will be marketed to be very playable regardless of if you've played any of the game(s) in the series or anything Metroid at all.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (29th March)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (29th March)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (22nd March)
So much games but not enough time
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's SNES Library With Four More Titles
Never heard of any of these...so I'm gonna keep my hopes up that they're still negotiating for Super Smash TV to finally make the cut.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (15th March)
Re: Star Wars: Hunters Servers To Close Later This Year
Wow...the brand is really nothing what it used to be (this is coming from a former DIE HARD Star Wars fan.
Re: We Really Want To See This Turn-Based TMNT Game Come To Switch
Wow...the Turtles IP is quickly becoming the most sought after IP by developers. It's like the people at Paramount are saying "Yes" in the middle of whoever's sales pitch because they know there will be at least some profit from it.
I'm not talking trash. All that matters is the end product(s) are good. But it feels like every financial quarter there's more TMNT products inbound to ensure positive numbers in the books.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (8th March)
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Library With Two More Titles
They did it! Those crazy sons of b#tches finally did it! Donkey Kong 94 was by far one of my most played GB games back in the gap! I'll definitely try to squeeze that one in this year!
Now all I need is Kirby's Pinball Land on the NSO and I could retire...
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (1st March)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (1st March)
@Logicfire Loved that game! However, the map system was a total B!TCH!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (1st March)
Re: Random: Final Fantasy Is The Next Magic: The Gathering Crossover, Here's A First Look
@Switch_Pro I 100% agree with your statement!
