It's Capcom... I am not shocked.

Cannot wait for the special edition to come this Friday. Been really excited about this game since the very first trailer was revealed in the Direct earlier this year!

As a fan of snooker, on TV and the early Codemaster releases I kinda want to buy this game. I’m just not totally sure.

@blackbox64 Guarantee almost all of those who have been complaining about Sword and Shield (excluding anyone jumping on the hate bandwagon whom had no intention of purchasing regardless) will still buy the game.

I am hoping that the first three games are all remastered and released on the Switch while they work on whatever the next installment in the franchise is.

If this series were being being produced as a fan project then there's a chance it would be allowed to continue. However, I am rather unsure how well the legal department at SEGA will take the idea of their IP being used for profits which is how Patreon will be looked at.

@SpicyBurrito16 Well it is by the same people whom worked on Theme Hospital. And I bought it day one on PC and loved every minute of it.

There must be a lot of people whom still use a Wii like grannies and care homes etc that more than make up for the continued support. Though the dev kit at Ubisoft must be held together with tape by now.

They need to just shelve it for a year and then try selling it. At least then it may have a snowball's chance of selling on the Switch.

Yes the specs in the phone maybe better than the Switch. Yes playing Fortnite on the phone may provide a better experience than on the Switch. But how many games actually come close to offering anything the Switch can offer or even remotely make use of all this supposed superior tech?

I very much doubt we will ever get anything Call of Duty related on the Switch, not even a spinoff game created for the hardware - something even the Vita managed to get, even if it was crap.

However I guess we will find out later today when the new Call of Duty is revealed.

Has this console been properly revealed yet? Do we know anything about the thing other than these 3 collections?

@Grumblevolcano You bought both versions? I am considering getting the game, but if I do it will be on Xbox or PS4. Though probably Xbox as I have the X. Though I have been splurging a lot of money so may have to wait.

Something tells me the Switch version needs to be avoided judging by how Sega didn’t give one of the biggest Nintendo sites a review code.

@Matroska That's why I was asking as the website for GB Studio states that it's designed for JRPGs whereas this article talks about making your own Link's Awakening. They are different types of games.

I will be so down for this if you can produce Link’s Awakening type JRPGs and not the turn based games like Final Fantasy etc.

Bought Cuphead first day it was made available to pre-order so am excited to fail miserably at it!

I'm more interested in a new Wave Race or spiritual successor to that particular game series.

And as for wanting to be the greatest games company in the world, they may have some real difficult competition from the likes of Nintendo and Sony, and then there’s all them indie developers etc.

@sleepinglion I know the first game used film sound effects and I assumed the second used largely the same. But I agree it’ll likely end up being Mega Drive ports of those 2 games unless they can change the sound effects to something less illegal for the arcade versions.

@sleepinglion Well there’s no way you’re going to get ports of the Star Wars titles. Golden Axe seems likely at some point. I think it’ll depend on what original source code Sega still has for its games.

Is there a glitch with your Amazon links or are you really trying to sell games with that huge markup?

@CupidStunt As awesome an idea as that sounds, Nintendo very rarely buy into studios. They are too conservative with their money in that sense and it seems they feel it better used developing games in house or through partnerships.

The lack of sales for this game on the Xbox One kinda tells you where their player base is at in terms of the games they like to play. It's the same reason they struggle to get anything other than major triple A Japanese developed games. But as for Switch achieving almost half of all sales, well it's not too surprising really.

I noticed the game has had all Penguin related images removed, for obvious licensing reasons. But I bought it as soon as I saw it available yesterday.

Why is ToeJam and Earl listed as new release when it was out several weeks ago?

@Bunkerneath No there are proper platforming levels too. It's just for some reason this play though is focused on bosses.
