@Gs69 Maybe they got confused with that console that was essentially a C64 in a different case without keyboard? That thing that sold so badly and came with a game that couldn’t be played because it needed a keyboard that they took back all unsold units and converted them back to C64 computers 😂

I couldn’t get into the first game, or for that matter the 2D spin-off game that followed. So for me they’ll need to do quite a lot to gain my interest.

For all people saying Persona 5 needs to be ported to the Switch, I’m assuming Sony are paying to keep it exclusive for a good long while whereas Nintendo kinda don’t care too much so pay for the bare minimum exclusive time period. Just seems to be how they do things when looking at a lot of third party games.

I thought I read some people are discovering music apparently cut according to Rockstar are actually in the game still such as Video Killed the Radio Star.

@TheWingedAvenger What the bloody hell are you talking about? PS5 and Xbox Series X/S are selling incredibly well. In fact they are selling far better than previous generation and there’s already exclusives coming in the next few years we are aware of.

Been using it since it launched in the uk. Never understood the appeal of Pokemon go or most mobile games but I’m loving this. Keep checking it many times each day. Helps that even in the winter months I love good walks.

The game that took years to come out and was thought to be vapourware? I saw Game Sack’s review on the game. Will wait to see how it reviews on Switch before picking it up.

I don’t understand how they don’t recognise the interest. They just released 2 Castlevania collections that have been well received and I assume are selling well enough that there’s now 2 of them. Yet they can’t see that maybe that’s the fans way of saying they want more games in the series?

There’s several games I have never played, including Majora’s Mask even though it’s on 3DS. Sin and Punishment and Win Back are the 2 I’m most interested in trying out. But F-Zero is definitely a great game to replay. It’s one of the few games I own on my N64.

I hope Nintendo can get games like Mystical Ninja, Snowboard Kids and of course both 1080 Snowboarding and Wave Race 64 soon.

I think Cruis’n Blast will probably do better digitally and it deserves good sales. Considering Nintendo owns the IP I don’t get the lack of marketing from them. So bizarre. It’s such an awesome game!

The best Nintendo Switch game only has 2 games? And one is Just Dance? Why isn’t there a third game like Xbox and PlayStation?

I bought it because of the bargain price but not yet had a chance to play it.

Maybe this is the step before finally heading to consoles itself. Happens a fair amount with Apple Arcade titles it seems.

The only thing here that’s truly surprising is that Xbox is still selling as much as it is. I mean, I expected it to settle back to the low single digit figures by now like previous generations.

Gonna be a lot of indie representation this week with both Xbox and Nintendo showcasing games. Looking forward to seeing what’s coming.

@Tom-Smo @SonOfVon I haven't seen it but I also doubt it means anything considering there is an entry for Mafia II for the Switch on that site (https://www.instant-gaming.com/en/6748-buy-game-nintendo-mafia-ii-definitive-edition-switch/) and they got Metroid 2D up instead of Metroid Dread.

@JohnnyC Yeah I kinda did but as you said, at least it would provide a somewhat comparable. The results are pretty different to what we see in the weekly charts.

@Fidodemo With so much nowadays being bought digitally, and the U.K. only doing physical charts, they really have little relevance anymore. There is supposed to be a digital charts for the U.K. but I haven’t seen anywhere report these charts.

I can’t wait, hopefully they will release it this year. Or next year. Or 2023. Or 2024. Or 2025. Or 2026. Or 2027…

@zool They have given a 2022 date but have also said it's only an aimed date. They never gave a date for that game before this E3. Plus a lot of big publishers have been delaying their games, largely due to the ongoing pandemic.

@zool They have stated why games are delayed though. They openly said that Metroid Prime 4 was restarted with development shifted to Retro Studios and that Animal Crossing was delayed in order to not crunch their developers.

@JSDude1 I don’t think Nintendo care about if the hardcore fans upgrade. There’s millions of not hardcore fans Nintendo can convince to make that upgrade or jump on board and get a Switch.

@ThanosReXXX @SleepyBlanc Thing is, we all know this new Switch revision will sell millions to the casual public regardless how these people cry and how they insist Nintendo are making a pro and that this was all just a miss reading of the stars because they weren't aligned with the moon and the rocks with the ocean over a tribal dance.

@panthro Unfortunately I think Nintendo have realised they can make more money selling N64 games through HD emulation than sticking it on NSO.

My collector’s edition turned up yesterday and though the review does seem to show it being mediocre, I’m not really that concerned.

I bought both games day one to support it, though like so many I buy, they just add to that back log list. Hopefully it is selling well enough to warrant more in the series.

Is the Direct going to be that bad they’re scared of people live streaming it?

Bet half the replies are people crying he’s building games in this and not spending his entire time creating unrealistic Smash Bros character DLC fighters.
