So like...has anyone solved the mystery of what happened to Quintet yet? Would those people that literally don't seem to exist be roadblocks to getting something done on a remake/remaster front?

Has it been confirmed nothing from this game was in the Gigaleak? Because we are still finding new stuff from it, apparently.

Big numbers for a game I couldn't find at our local Gamestop or Walmart at release day. xP But nice, it's a pretty great game.

But is it playable for ANYONE to experience if they feel the desire, or is it just gonna be playable to the like 10-20 people who played it in the past?

As a continually-jaded Pokemon TCG player...how is this news??! He didn't do anything to the card itself, so who cares? Any new owner could easily get it regraded if they don't like it (emphasis on 'could' due to the state of grading).

Pokemon TCG stuff really just shouldn't be reported on in this site anyway as we've seen before, so try to stay out of the lane in general, NL. @_@

Maybe they SHOULD have remade High-Tech World instead, considering they already made the definitive version of Miracle World already. @_@

If you compare it to the actual Zelda Game and Watch, it looks nothing like it, and the game included isn't the ACTUAL Zelda Game and Watch. About as disappointing as the previous one, tbh, despite technically being a better value. :/

I like how this board assumes this applies to non-Japanese viewers, which it obviously doesn't since they haven't bothered to make an English version of the statement yet. Not that I even watch these presentations via someone else's reactions in the first place...ain't no way they'll be hyped about the exact same things I will be, and to the same extents, so why lower my overall ecstasy I get from said experience like that?

I'm thoroughly convinced Gamestop's leak was indeed for real, and some poor intern got fired yesterday, so it's fair to say I've indeed been quite spoiled already...I'll be damned if I know the Smash character before the reveal though. That's just too sacred for me...still hate how Nintendo themselves spoiled Simon. :/

I'll likely play it. I WAS overly hard on the initial reveal of the first game. I just REALLY didn't realize it was going to be a really cool strategy game. Like...come on, who was honestly expecting the game to go anywhere near that direction? I'll absolutely give this one a go too...

Also, I absolutely adore how everyone in these comment sections abhor digital versions of games (myself included tbh), but are now up at arms...over a physical-only release?! xD Come on guys...get over yourselves. This is what the publisher wanted, so you'll have to deal with it! Games didn't even have digital releases until the Wii era. Remember what gaming was like back then? Why do you want to not go back to that time so badly? O_o

@YoshiAngemon I literally joked with my friends that if they wanted to go the most boring route possible, they'd go for the most-merchandised characters first, and lo and behold, that's what actually happened. Like...what a waste of the lisence, to just make plush of the characters who probably have had more plush of them made than anyone else, when I'd buy plush of any of the new 8 in a heartbeat, especially after personally tracking them all down and inviting them to my island back when the game was new...

Oof, probably doesn't sit well for the PS4 version either, since most ports that come to both platforms these days tend to be pretty identical in most ways...

No surprise. Nintendo has always won E3 as long as I've kept up with more modern gaming in the last seven years or so, even during the Wii U days, so them winning again shouldn't be a big surprise tbh.

@DsheroX - I've played MK11 on the Switch a lot, and trust me, it DOESN'T run poorly at all. It firmly belongs in the 'How did they do it?' category of Switch ports, honestly.

As a casual K-Pop fan who finds the music in the genre to be preferrable to their own countries' music...this is why I don't really talk about music on the internet. It's more toxic to talk about music than even any gaming fandom that I can think of, at least.

Back in the day, once in awhile. The game I probably replayed the most being Pokemon LG. But these days, when I have the means to buy any game I want easily? Yeah...no. Ain't got no time for that...

...Consumable cosmetics. I'll always come to these articles to complain about that, and someone else will always come to complain about me complaining about that. For all the faux-retro games out there, I actually didn't think this one looked too bad. O_o I guess we'll see how dedicated to the retro aesthetic they were when the game comes out, to see if it's horribly zoomed out like a lot of faux-retro games tend to be these days.

I can't even begin to think up a proper Top 5. That's just way too deep of a question for me, and there's alot of wrinkles to be had too. Like, Pokémon Emerald is pretty high up there, but...there are so many Rom Hacks based on it that are far superior to the vanilla version since then. Like, even a basic 'Full Dex In-Game' hack is technically superior to the vanilla game. PokeMMO is my favorite MMO I've ever played, and it uses Emerald as part of it's setup. I can't even begin to make a Top 5 personally due to stuff like that.

Like, even a more specific game, like Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky...there didn't use to be ANY hacks of that game to interfere with that game's potential placement, but there is now, and they have solved a couple minor grievances I had with the vanilla version.

Because hacks exist, I don't think I'll ever specifically be able to ever make a concrete list, unless I'm literally on my death bed, and only counting games I've personally played through and beat. Otherwise I wouldn't feel I've done a certain game, or hack maker, due justice.

What's even worse is, AFAIK, no one in the Homebrew scene was really able to develop a good emulator for the poor console on there either, making it one of the most forgotten efforts by not only Nintendo, but the general public as well, which is just a total shame...
